I agree. They have an excellent value proposition. The new Skylord ESCs took care of the biggest issue with their planes. Simply put: The FW190 is just excellent.
But with your theory of leaving the gear down, wouldn't that create some drag that you wouldn't have with them up, which may change the overall flight characteristics? Seems odd.
I'm not worried about drag on a maiden. For me, maidens are simply to prove the aircraft and make sure the plane flies. All airplanes should be able to fly fine with gear down although yes, they will be a little more draggy.
@@RCVideoReviews I have my moments, sometimes. First I was like "nice, it has some good details, even navigation lights" and then my mind went like "but wait a minute, shouldn't the green one be on right side?" Hope I didn't cause you too much trouble by spotting this. ;-)
@@rc-fannl7364 I looked at it today. It would probably cause too much damage to the wing tips to try and fix, so I'm just going to live with it that way. I'll see how many other people catch it. I checked the Waco and its lights are correct. Good eye in any case :)
It does. I leave retracts and flaps alone on maidens. That way if I have to get down in a hurry, I have one less thing to worry about. This strategy has paid off for me more than once.
I always leave gear down on maiden flights. There's always enough that can go wrong on a maiden without adding the question of whether or not the gear will work if landing because immediately necessary. So for maidens, I leave gear down, flaps up, a few circuits to trim and verify straight and level flight capabilities. A couple of approaches if necessary and land. Then a fairly thorough inspection to verify things like control rod connections, servo mounts, control surfaces, motor mount, wing joints, tail feather security, hinge points, landing gear. THEN as long as I feel good with the basic flight performance (balance and straight+level) I fly it using all the capabilities.
This is one of the easiest warbirds I've ever flown. Ground handling is very easy going and the plane is very responsive. If you're an intermediate flyer, you won't have any problems with this plane.
Great job ,what a nice flying plane handled the wind well, for the money you can't beat Dynam planes

The jerries didn`t paint their propeller tips yellow, mostly just USAF & RAF.
Good tip. Thanks for sharing.
Nice plane. Great review and video!
Thanks John. Chris is really becoming good with that camera. He learns fast.
Dynam rc planes are great,, but I always change the retracts for some that work every time.
Do you have a particular brand? e-Flite?

Oh yeah!!!
:)
They're calling the newest one V3, wish you would have shown about the landing gear (retracts)
If I didn't say something about them it's because there was nothing to say. They worked.
Nice plane. Btw, is the video mirrored? I see red nav light on the right wing, and the green light on the left wing?
Wow, great catch. You're right, they're backwards. Thanks, now I have work to do :)

@@RCVideoReviews So it's not a mirrored video, but they actually made an error with installing the nav lights?

I thought that one came with retractable land gear.

What about the retractable landing gear do they work ??
See previous comment.

Hi did you have to add any nose weight ?
No.
Left wing Nav light Green?
Port Left "RED"
Someone in the factory stuffed Up
Yup. Happened quite a bit on Dynam planes.
@@RCVideoReviews oh ok.
Cheers for that
have you tried this on 3s power?
Yes. I didn't care for it.
How easy is it to fly I am intermediate to beginner

What battery did you use?
A 4s2200 or 2650.
@@RCVideoReviews how were you able to Correct the CG Right?
@@elelnoel5196 It's safe to start with the factory CG on this plane. You can adjust to taste from there.
