Love St. Augustine! Great episode. Wish I was there.

Absolutely loved it Vern - a bit "touristy" but great place to visit.

Thanks Mark - we have "dead horse" on our pies :)
Dead horse is rhyming slang for sauce i.e. tomato sauce.

Looks like a magic place. Enjoyed the video.
Were the pies worth the wait?

Ummm, yes they were good but not a true Aussie pie though. So was a tad disappointed in it.

A great video! I don’t remember if you’ve always put place names at the bottom on the screen, but definitely noticed on this episode. A great addition knowing exactly where you are.
Aussie pie. Sounds similar to a British pasty. I think pasty are common in the southwest of England, Cornwall maybe?

Not overly sure about a British pasty but an Aussie pasty doesn't have meat - just mushed up vegies.
Aussie pie is typically ground beef, gravy and a secret ingredient that only Aussies are allowed to know!

Great to see another episode. After binging all your earlier ones, I hang out to see another and to follow your exploits. What was the honest opinion of the Aussie pie? Did they have a variety?

Honest opinion - almost an Aussie pie. The crust was a little different but the filling had been "americanised". It was more like a spag bog than the meat and gravy. But it still was great to eat it like a real pie!
