If you are not concerned about the Simba's crimes then why are you concerned about the Mercenaries 'war crimes'? I love the morals of the 21st century. If this story involved trans people being raped and murdered for being trans the commentator would mention it and disapprove but because this story only involves alot of white people (too many of them children) being raped and murdered he barely mentions it and just calls the Simba "rebels". Well ok, I hope this standard of morality is consistent from now on because I am sick of hearing people criticize the Russians or the Nazis. They were just soldiers like the Simba were just rebels, no need to mention any of the disgusting, horrific, cowardly shit that was done to women and kids. We can ignore that.
It's a summary of Siegfried's actions, not the war. Siegfried committed war crimes, so it's relevant to bring them up. The exact details of the conflict, as well as any atrocities participated by the opposition, are irrelevant. Note he doesn't bring up war crimes done by other mercenaries, just Siegfried. Shut the fuck up and quit trying to drag trans people into your cringe defense of a Nazi gun-for-hire.

YOOO ITS THE TNO SUDTENENAFRICA GUY!!
Interesting story, but not a good video. Fast talk and too many pop ups makes it hard to follow. Btw, Mueller is the most common German name, no noble background there.
7:58 8:08 best quote i ever heard, ever
I think its save to say he loved his job
Sounds like many Veterans from WW2 ..They learned their trade from a young age and how to survive and in some cases prosper! ..He is probably no different from many others be they British German or American..plus just wearing your Iron Cross on your Uniform would give one a certain amount of Notoriety just for that in the post war years!
Sorry but the way you talk about historic figures and the facts and atrocities committed plus the lack of understanding to the why’s is just so low on quality that it hurts listening to you, it's free content sure but put in some decency and effort, an engagement rate of 97k views to 288 comments reflects that the work isn't good either...
Shut the fuck up and quit trying to drag trans people into your cringe defense of a Nazi gun-for-hire.
cry harder
they got what they deserved, imperialist
But you know why the Simba (and btw also the Kwilu) rebellion started, right?
p.s.: your safe space is to the right, please, don't cry
@@stefanradev7034 yes, because the politicians wanted more power, the communist's wanted another communist country and the scumbags wanted to rape and steal. There is no justification for the atrocities carried out by the 'rebels' especially not power and personal greed. Its ironic you suggest I need a safe space when it is the limp wristed creator of this video who runs away from the truth while you try to justify the murder and rape of children. But that is what I have come to expect from left wing Americans. Really scum. But nevermind your sad way of thinking will screw you in the end. No one can justify the rape and murder of kids or support it as you do and live a good life. I pity you.

Your narration of this video is as funny as fuck. Brilliant. 😂😂😂😂😂

He clearly is an interesting character who an impression on people wether positive or negative.
Amazing stuff! Subbed 👍
He was not part of the nobility. You can always recognize german nobles by 'von' leading the family name.
eh no
there is plenty of nobles without von
eespecially since many lost their status after ww1
also it just says he comes from a noble family not that he himself is noble
What good is being nobility that comes with 0 benefits or privileges?

i have a question, the rank insigne the mercenaries are wearing in the Kongo is there a table that explains them? i saw them in The wild Geese but can find anything on them.
I don't know but his wiki mentions that, he is a loudmouth and storyteller. In an failed assault he had one of his comrades die and that gave him grief and PTSD.
He of course like that image we have of him when actually he didn't seem to have seen very much action.
Do you seriously trust wikipedia? They are snopes tier.
Lmao Wikipedia 🤣🤣🤣. That's like asking a vegan about the taste of steak
From 1975 to 1978 I fought in the Angola war on the other team side, do you really think that we were any different? war is not the glorify version that Hollywood want people to believe, is ugly dirty a cruel and generally speaking the civilian population is the one that most often than not is at the receiving end of the gun, sad true. The ugliest part of human nature comes out in war. You go with ideals of liberating the people from evil and somehow along the way you become the same evil you are fighting against, the greatest quote ever “And if you gaze long enough into an abyss, the abyss will gaze back into you.”
Nice (and "fun") video, on the same topic, have you considered to make a video about Bob Denard ? Which for the fun fact started as catholic, turned jewish, then muslim (to rule the Comores where he made a coup), then catholic again.
