Hi Jaclynn, gosh those Anthurium are so pretty and number one I really liked those long leaves, I really like some Philodendron, that bicolor one is so gorgeous. Oh I also love so many Hoya, number 6 the Hoya clemensiorum is so gorgeous and I also really love it's leaves, if I ever find one of these I will for sure get it. Oh and number 7 that Alocasia heterophylla"Dragon's Breath" is so gorgeous and I do love Alocasias so much, their leaves are so beautiful. I also love that snake that is hanging on your shelf. I’d love a deeper comparison on the strappy anthurium! I’m looking at picking one up in a few weeks while back home visiting friends & family. My Hoya Tangamus is working on its first new leaf in my care. Pretty pumped, not going lie!! 🐲🪴🐉💚🙌🏻

The vittarifolium was my very first anthurium. Its so pretty & was easy, imo. The padi is up next, hopefully before the end of this month.
I am loving all the long boy Anthuriums. Especially my variegated vittarifolium. I got it for cheap on a purge because it wasn't the sellers type of variegation that they normally sell. But the newest leaf is gorgeous. I love the bicolor, black billie, and longilobatum. Still waiting to see what the spiriti sancti will do. I don't want to talk about the patricae 😢 lol. I also love the goldeneye (now rooting three cuttings lol) and finlaysoni long leaf hoyas as well. Just got another clemensiorum with a new growth point from helen. While still rooting a cutting from black cat Gardner. I used to have dragon's breath, lauterbachiana and longiloba. They were stunners before they passed on. Maybe the lauterbachiana is still around. I should go check. 🤦 Yes i love the long boys too 🐉🐲

The pallidiflorum is my first anthurium 😅 I was also in between the patriciae and the bicolor, now I know!
They're both gorgeous, but you can't beat the dark, narrow leaves on the bicolor 🖤

Happy to see a Queen Esmeralda on here! That’s the Queen that I have too! Mine is slightly smaller than yours I think but so far so good.
She's been a lot easier than I thought! Eventually, I will try the regular queen again now that I feel more confident with Anthurium!

Love my Dragons Breath. My latest leaf is much larger than previous. Also love Phal. Sanderiana and Gigantea leaves as well. My Gigantea is still young but Sanderinana is going to need a new spice as she is outgrowing the shelf 😂. 🐉

Love all of your long leaves. I think my fav long leaf plant if my var bop it just keeps putting out leaves and having a pot that has a non var plant and a var plant they are each pushing out leaves one after the other and it is time for me to repot her.🐉🐉🐲🐲

🐲 Have to go with the Anthurium. Killed all my Alocasia - didn't help that I failed to water them properly over the spring and summer. The Dragaon Breath was my favorite.

🐲🐉 I had a dragon scale Alocasia I loved but it got root rot and I couldn’t save it. I have a Silver Dragon that’s doing great in pon. I have an Alocasia Scalprum with long leaves I am struggling with. I unpotted it and it has root rot so I cut off the bad roots and put it in fluval stratum. Hopefully it doesn’t die on me because I really like it. It wasn’t in great shape when I got it from Home Depot.
Stratum was a solid choice! I hope it works out!

I haven’t bought a Hoya plant yet! I’m a philodendron/ monstera/ pothos brat. But I am interested in getting one soon! Just not sure which one to get first! I’m thinking of getting a krimson queen but I’m so indecisive!
The queen was my first Hoya and definitely a great place to start! I have lots of videos about Hoya in the Hoya care playlist on my homepage! Some of those might help you decide! 🥰

I like my Anthurium bakeri because it doesn't just droop, also Begonia herbacia/lancealota depending on who you ask, and its not an aroid, woot!

The queen is a finicky one. She likes humidity and definitely do not be inconsistent with watering it. I don't have one for that reason (Esmeralda is different). Hybrids are easier when it comes to the queen!! If you have a cabinet, throw her in there!
I have a bicolor but is slow growing. Is that typical? Wondering if it's my specimen. Lighting is pretty good and it's on a pole.
Nah, she's a slow grower for me, too. But I started using the foliar spray on her, and it definitely helps! A pole miht do her some good too

Why am I so hoya averse? They don’t look like real plants to me - they look plastic. But I know I’m in the minority. 😅
