I love my Jag Taran Tactical 2011! I will honestly never run it for games( Love my Glocks) but just having it in my collection is so awesome. If you are a John Wick fan this airsoft pistol is a definite must have.
glock are better for games ?
I love the pistol for games, snappy trigger, as on my friend's glock 19x there's like 5 mm of deadplay, whereas the Jag Taran 2011 has about 1 to 2 mm

Most 1911 style guns are alot trustier then glocks in games but i do the same
Haven't gotten the chance to hold it myself yet, but I just bought one. I'll absolutely have to make an update when I finally get it.
Got mine for my birthday and god dayum it's like a dream. Shoots well, perfect balance when the magazine is in and the model is straight up my alley. Literally the only problem is the lack of any threading in the inner barrel, preventing installation of tracers or suppressors.
Do you have the Jag arms one, does it still perform good?

The reason why Jag didn't lock back is because of the EMG/WE magazine. Happened the same with my TM Hi Capa and regular WE GG magazine.
i like jag's version because all tm hi capa compatible parts is compatible with this one.
Reggie H is that true? So you can build a race gun with jag precision?
Isnt the JAG one 5.4 size slide, so you can only put in 5.1 internal parts except slide amd barrel
But it will work if you put TM 5.1 slide and barrel set with jag lower frame?

My evike with CO2, was shooting 400 fps. Consistently. It's an amazing piece and I would recommend it to anyone.
Hands down, the EMG looks way better what I can see from the video. Doesn't mean I would choose it over the JAG. I'm not sure with which one I should go. :/
Got the EMG version for Christmas absolutely love it. When I was at a local field two weeks ago the range on that is amazing I just got my friend at about 60 feet out with a .28 bb.
are you aware that it can shoot like 150 feet and you shot a human at 18 meters so that is nothing incredible.

I'm going to buy one so I can dump my Sig Sauer p226 x5 only reason I haven't gotten rid of it yet is because I love how it has never failed me until the mag broke

I did the chimaera unit, take the best of both worlds and tinker it to be able to receive TM aftermarket parts. It turns out to be one of my favorite airsoft pistol.
The jag uses stronger metal then the emg one. The jag is a tm clone. While the emg is a we tech. More internal and and to make it a more functional pistol while the emg is more pretty then usable for fields.
I love mine. It's my first airsoft pistol and it's super fun. It feels like a real gun with a decent little kick.

Could you put the slide from the Jag Precision on the EMG frame? To me that would be the ideal combination, as far as looks go.

In regards to final verdict, you were not really clear. I'm assuming the Jag is better overall?
The purpose of his vid was to show us the two versions not to say which one was best. For him to do that, he would need a long period of time using both. This was just a recently unboxed products comparison.
I have a Jag Combat Master and mine came with a threaded barrel. I have a very early version though so maybe they changed it afterwards but it seems weird to me to remove such a feature.
Having handled both the EMG and the Jag Precision one, my preference went to the Jag version.

If you’re already spending that much money, why not spend a little more and get the EMG with the STI licensing? Without it, it’s not the John Wick gun.

@@ssil3nce476 nah man the jag is good enough to compete with the emg. The licensing isnt everything and there are threads at least from the one I bought from evike. It shoots pretty straight right out of the box too. The safety is a little loose but it takes some getting used to gripping the gun just right, and the actual grip feels pretty rough but its just a feature that grows on you. You don't need to spend $200+ on a gun but the jag is worth every penny

True, but for the price it would cost to turn TM into JW3, you could definitely upgrade the JAG one to match the TM, as long as the slide doesn't crack :D
Just because the Jag arms pistol is 5.4 size doesnt mean i cant fit any 5.1 parts such as safety, slide catch and multiple internal parts right?
The only turn off of the Jag is the barrel not being threaded.... in that case ....is it possible to buy a EMG barrel and swap it to the JAG precision ???

Sorry Mike, but mine's AM 01008! It's a great gun, for sure, not so good in the cold due to the full slide, but I've done an airsoft John Wick cosplay, only before I got my combat master, I was running a TM P226 at the time, but now Hicapas have kinda taken over my loadouts, only the combat master is a bit of a pain to holster, I have a fabric holster, which makes the combat master throw mags while holstered due to the extended mag release, and a hardcase one, which doesn't fit due to the grip being a bit higher on the frame/thicker than other capas. I got an Armourer works HX10 which fits said holster beautifully, but I reckon once I get a proper holster for it, I'll be running my combat master more in the summer than my HX10!

Surprisingly awesome from army armament because I bought an army armament r30 1911 and I sucked then I bought this and it felt like it was an upgraded Marui compared to my old 1911

I got the EMG one recently but I'm torn over which one I prefer... Both have their own advantages. But since I got the EMG one I guess I prefer that one lol
I guess when it comes to quality, you have the slightly better one. I also like all those STI markings on the EMG.
@@NKA23 Yeah, I think the EMG one is far better quality... though I do like the deeper black colour of the JAG. At the same time the JAG is way less detailed. Also I got my EMG one from SWIT which is upgraded so I assume it also performs better than the JAG (at least I hope it does for what I paid for it lol)
I went with the Jag because of the real stippled grip. The only thing the Jag version is missing is the STI logos.
Epsilon Star since you have the gun, would you mind telling me if there’s threading on the inside of the barrel? I’m thinking about buying one and I wanna know if it’s comparable with my tracer

Hi Airsoft Mike, can you confirm if the outer barrel on the jag precision is a fixed outer barrel? it seems it doesn't have that barrel tilting gimmick..

Hi, love the video, one question, what is the target/backstop you are shooting into? I have never seen it before and can't identify it, looks pretty cool!
Can you use a Co2 mag for it bcs i rather use Co2 bcs its stronger then greengas?
picked up the EMG version at my local airsoft shop. Been effing around trying to get the bloody orange tip off, most of it broke off and now ive got a orange mess on the front of the outer barrel (cant get the inner barrel out for some odd reason, thank god its metal), ive tried melting the glue off with a low powered flame, but ended up burning up a chunk of what is left of the orange tip. cant seem to get water hot enough (does it REALLY have to boiling hot?) to try and melt the remained of the glue holding it in place.
Hey man, all you have to do is use nail polish remover to remove the orange paint. Hope this helps

Any issues with your EMG since you got it? I have been reading a lot of bad reviews about paint wearing, sights coming loose, safeties coming loose, broken guide rods and other problems
How about the SRC Baba Yaga, for a more budget friendly option. but not licensed.
The trades alone on the Jag Precision make it worth the extra $20-$30 in my opinion. SRC/KLI Baba Yaga isn't bad but since you are probably wanting this piece just for the sake of it being John Wicks gun you should definitely spend the extra dough.
