    Lauren, I’d like to see you paint the undersides of your furniture as well. It truly would be a very nice, professional way to finish your beautiful furniture.
    I know that I would not want to buy a piece of painted furniture if it were not completed.
    It also protects the wood as well when you coat it this way.
    Thanks for listening…
    From someone who has refinished and painted a lot of furniture 🥰

      @@freeinJesus , I really don’t understand where your anger is coming from. I am trying, in a kind way, to suggest to Lauren to understand, that a true artist will finish her work. Look at any project by K. Scott…she always finishes a side that might be seen, and even one that may not, especially if it will protect the wood. It is just the mark of a good artist and shows that one takes pride in ones work.
      Lauren is self taught and I don’t think she understands the value of finishing the underside of a project.
      I am in no way jealous at all; I just want to be helpful to a beautiful young woman who is getting started in a profession that has been a hobby of mine since I was a child and in which my parents were both working professionally.
      I’ve worked 40 years as a registered nurse and I feel some empathy for her, perhaps a little grandmotherly.
      I really do have a kind heart.
      There is no need to attack me.

      @kimeverhart6253 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@freeinJesus, please tell me, how else could I say what I would like to say to her,that you would not consider “passive aggressive”?
      I truly do have a kind heart. I do follow Jesus and try very much to show love to people the best way I can. In no way do I mean to do any harm to Lauren. I really want to see her succeed and grow and learn and I just wanted to share some of my knowledge. If you have some pointers on how I could have done a better job of this, please tell me.

    it looks great and is the perfect size for that room, I absolutely agree with leaving the glass out, the fewer delicate things that are easy to break in a rental place the better, one thing to remember when renting out apartments or units ABNB etc is that no one is ever going to care about YOUR space and your things as much as you do, so it is always a good idea to not have furniture or anything else in this space that is easily breakable :) wise choice to leave the glass out :)

    Looks beautiful Lauren. Those types of MCM pc's were pretty cheap and flimsy so painting it was the best option! I would prefer the glass in it though. Super cute and I caught a peek of the rug!!

    Pretty color on a classic piece. Just a caution, do not sand something in your lap, especially on bare skin. I received a pretty bad sanding burn doing that when I knicked the skin with the edge of the spinning sander. It actually bled and took a couple of weeks to heal.
