I consider late season the last couple weeks of December and January.i love the end of the season hunting here in Ohio. Sometimes I feel I have the whole place to myself because many hunters here are done for the year except for a couple.and there's still some big boys running around.

@@SticksDeep if I could afford Sitka I sure would, everyone says it's warm. Right now I use DSG and Arctic Shield and a bunch of layering. Had to do it on a budget and it was still expensive!

@@katiecrowley3417 totally get it! I got 75% of my Sitka used. The price tag on new is ridiculous but it honestly is worth it. But definitely go used. There’s lots of Facebook groups selling Sitka clothing

Nice job on the video again! I asked this on another one of your videos. Why the switch from Sitka?

Do you have a link for the UGG Sheepskin liners. I wasn't able to find anything on a Google search.

With "nasty weather" does that include high winds?

    • @Nick-jz8hd

Yes, more deer activity with high winds than calm

Rough season for me here in New York. Might key on food sources now here in the late season. Seen on a a diffrent video at this time of year the deer are more in survival mode

Ruff season here in Ks for me had one snowfall back in peak rut November. I sliced a good buck sitting in the snow. It was perfect conditions my error on a bad shot however, it hasn't snowed since and I have seen the buck on his feet. Waiting for a good snow to come this week. Game changer for me this year has been a Milwaukee heater jacket. Super duper awesome! You are correct. If you're cold you won't sit. Also implicate a ground blind with a buddy heater in it usually don't have a problem. Staying warm that way. Good video man. Good hunting

What if your public hunting ground is polluted by gun fire from a close gun range. Dead spot? Or worth hunting?

Deer will get used to anything they see or hear on a regular basis, there is a gun range near me and the deer don’t even notice it

Love late season except now food sources are out generally because no snow and almost 60s. Makes everything open hard to see but they see u. Now they herded up and are ghosts staying in woods somewhere. The weather is bs

If you use cell cameras you're not a hunter., you're a target shooter. To each their own but you're no longer hunting.

@rickyt.9482 it's no big deal. Not many real hunters left these days. Just a bunch of people who couldn't get a deer without electronics.
