    Love how you are able to show endless possibilities of mixing two songs. We as dj's should always stay creative...thanks mate!

    Thank you so much. As a new DJ, I understand the possibilities when it comes to the mix, but it really helps to see it actually done while being explained.

    Thank you for doing tutorials with deep house music, it's a hard find on TH-cam as almost everyone does electro.

    Can I ask you can you use an external hard drive with that controller. Bit of a daft question though?

  • @humanNumer1
    @humanNumer1 8 ปีที่แล้ว

    I would personally carry on with the rolled bit of vocal on top of the new beat and maybe chopped it with faders to complete the transition less rough.

    Hi Jon, what do you mean by "make sure echo is quantized with the track"?

    • @aaronphillips402
      @aaronphillips402 8 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      +dj madjik So when you hold the tap button it "quantizes" the BPM of the song to the effects. So if the song is playing at 120 the effects will be at 120 as well. If you are using say the Roll effect with 1/4th on it will stutter at 1/4th of a beat at 120 instead of some random number which would sound out of sync. It doesn't matter what effect you are using you want to be perfectly in line with the bpm of the track you are effecting.

      Judas Iscariot thanks for the reply - is this a pioneer thing, a dj software thing, or do most controllers have this?
      I'll try on my NS6 - serato dj when I get home tonight, but any additional info you can provide would be great.

    Why are button flashing? Could get annoying

    • @DigitalBroomstick
      @DigitalBroomstick 8 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      djghostonthewheels late reply to this but they aren't IRL, it's because the buttons are getting power at a different frequency to the camera. happens on UK models

      This is not a mixer with CD Players.
      This is the latest standalone device by Pioneer : XDJ-RX.
