I think keeping things a bit more simple an organic helps truly capture not only your vocal ability, but the emotional aspects aspects as well. This was an awesome cover. This song legit was the song that helped me shift focus from the melody/heaviness/sound of songs to what songs are truly saying lyrically. As a kid, I always jammed to this on the radio, but it wasn't until a few years later that I grasped the deepness of this. It truly made me think. Mostly about how I'd reflect upon myself during my final hours. Will I be happy, fulfilled, blessed, with people sitting around me, with me thinking to myself, "Damn, I really had a good run."?
