  • Russia's military doctrine is crumbling as invisible, unmanned systems take over the battlefield, rendering traditional war machines obsolete. General David Petraeus exposes the game-changing technology that’s shattering the Kremlin's war strategy. As these lethal, autonomous swarms neutralize tanks, jets, and warships before they reach the frontlines, Russia finds itself dangerously unprepared for the future of warfare. In this video, discover how this revolutionary shift is not only redefining combat but also threatening to bring Russia’s military to its knees.

Who the hell put the map up showing Crimea as part of Russia, get rid of it. Pure ignorance, it is Ukraine.

Just imagine how many sewer systems all over Russia Putin could have built if he chose that route instead of invading Ukraine.

Didn't see your message Jean Boseau. Doesn't matter, it is disgusting that anyone commenting on this matter would do this.

What GEN Petraeus is putting forth strikes at the heart of the (American) Carrier Battle Group. In that regard it is little different than what the Russians are faced with regard to their reliance on artillery and massed tanks. GEN Petraeus and others have described the strengths and weaknesses of the Russian military to an excruciating level of detail, as they are trained to do. And it does not matter how correct they are.
Our navy wants modern weapons, they are not Luddites; but for eighty years aircraft carriers have been the backbone of American tactical response as well as strategic thinking. They are very capable war machines, also very large, visible targets. Most everyone knows the saying, "If you can see it, you can kill it." Now, this may or may not be strictly true for battle groups, but it is very true in land warfare. But this is not the issue.
The issue is the relative "comfort" (meaning understanding, evaluating, and optimization) of the thinking of the various flag officers of all the services in the true meaning of what the Ukrainian defense forces are demonstrating on the battlefield. Innovation is ALWAYS held back by the decisions of the people in power because that is not how they came to power. And to say that a new way is better is the same as saying the old way is bad. Bad, not no longer the best; I hate to say it, but this is "the significance of the passage of time."
Winners don't change how they fight in battle, losers do; that's how losers become winners. They change the characteristics of the conflict till they create conditions whereby they can win. And they keep changing things till they no longer lose. The Ukrainians have found a new way to win the tactical battle. OK, several nations have and have had recon drones; but that is not the same thing as assault drones or kamikaze drones. More than that, they use them by the hundreds if not thousands, often controlled individually and manually. If left to their own devices, American engineers will make wonderful, hugely sophisticated and capable tactical drones for our forces to use. They will become so expensive and precious that our basic infantryman will never get to use them in training, thus will never use them effectively in battle.
There is a middle ground, not a compromise per se, but a sweet spot where immediately available meets extremely capable. But, no worries, let the Ukrainians find it then we will remake it to our preferred method of warefare; expend material, not lives.

Be even better to make up a map of the area from, some english speaking map source . Those Russian/Ukrainian maps
are very confusing and hard to find reference points.
