I feel that Belichick, since he was forced to trade Jimmy G in 2017, has gone out of his way to Sabotage the team!!!
Bill really thought that all these years he stole these veterans or mid level free agents that no other GMs signed because he is a "genius" and saw something in them that nobody else recognized and his EGO has him still thinking that was all him being great at finding hidden gems. I think he is the only person that thinks of himself in that light anymore. It is now glaringly obvious that Tom Brady's greatness of being able to win no matter what roster Bill put together was what was happening all those years. Any shortcomings or misses or busts that Bill had aquired as a GM were not so evident and noticeable because Brady had you winning no matter what, through pretty much any poor GM moves. 💯🤷 In Brady's last couple years with us he was older and no longer able to overcome and succeed and elevate the team to produce and win through Bill's poor and cheap way of building a roster. He still uses this method through this very day but there is one huge problem, you don't have the greatest player of all time anymore. Continuing to use the the same roster building approach and method through Cam Newton and Mac Jones being his quarterbacks has exposed it. 10 years ago if you put Brady in the exact same roster that they are 2-9 with now Brady would have this same team winning at least 10 games and going to the playoffs! He dealt with the same bullshit Bill is having this young QB endure for almost 20 years and it was barely ever even pointed out because Brady always won. It's now very clear to me at least that Bill owes the biggest bulk of his success as New Englands coach to the GOAT the one and only Tom Brady. Bill will never give anyone more credit than himself for his career. Not to mention he was under Bill Parcels and he was the defensive coordinator with maybe the GOAT on defense in Lawrence Taylor so Bill should show alot more appreciation and admiration to just those 2 guys alone. Just my observation and opinion lol
Yes! To all of that! Very sad that Brady could not retire with the Pat's. Both Bill and Brady could have retired together last year. Bill doesn't have that much class. He has ego as you said. Bill is a bum.
I wonder how many SB Tom could have really won if Bill was not always building the team on the cheap. He let Manning, a very average QB beat them twice and a back up QB beat them while their season starter Malcom sit on the bench for god only knows why.

The benching of Malcolm Butler in the super bowl was one of the most ignorant and stubborn game time decisions ever if not the worst💯 Butler was there WR1 cover corner all year and had an outstanding season and played more snaps on the field then any other player that year. Dude was zoomed in on during the anthem with tears running down his face it was and still is a completely baffling decision to which Bill of course gave no explanation for. If I'm Brady and other top players I'd be pissed at him for that one you can't swallow your pride and ego for one game, which is the super bowl to put your best product on the field is crazy and it literally cost them a super bowl that was the difference in a game where Brady throws for over 500 yards trying to overcome the Pats horrid pass defense and even that wasn't enough! 💯 Everyone on the team gave all they could to win that game except Bill he could've put the best corner on the team out there with a little bit of pride swallowing but nope that ego was first before his whole team and sorry but that's selfish and actually sadd tbh
@@MikeMack1986Someone knows the whole story but for some reason it’s never been told. I have heard Tom never forgave him and it was part of the reason Tom was done with NE and Bill. We may never know the truth.
I love how these clowns were adamant BB deserved the respect of finishing the season and now its fire him.

I have posted this same thing many times and the BB fan club alway tell me I am an idiot. They stick up for Bill and will go on and on about how great Bill is. It’s as if facts means nothing.
I get why people say that, but it really is unfair to what Bill has achieved. Tom Brady was not responsible for the Pats winning Super Bowl 53, nor did Brady make that game-winning interception in Super Bowl 49. Brady isn’t the one who made the decision to play for a field goal at the end of Super Bowl 39, despite John Madden saying that they should have taken a knee for overtime. Belichik was a great coach who, like any other coach, needs great players to execute his game plan. His time has come, but we should not diminish what he was for the first 20 years of his Patriots career.
Also, what was his record without Brady when Brady was injured or suspended? It’s a winning record, as he still had great players elsewhere.

Bill’s defense gave up 31. In Super Bowl 49 Brady had 328 yards and 4 tds against a top 3 defense ever and the greatest secondary ever. What the fuck are you even saying? Is this Belichick’s burner account or something? Explain why Bill has been an objectively terrible hc before and after he had Brady.

Bill Walsh has a losing record without Montana. Andy Reid in the playoffs in the 18 seasons before Mahomes, 11-13, and in the playoffs in the 5 seasons with Mahomes, 11-3.
Amazing. Coaches will have more success with better talent. Carry out the logic that you need to discount the success coaches have when they are linked to one QB, then George Seifert is a better coach than Bill Walsh.

This is a philosophy and talent issue. The game has passed Bill by especially on the offensive side of the ball. Also far too many yes men on his coaching staff. He has shown an absolute apathy for the offense for a number of years including when Tom was here and I don't think he realised how much you needed talent because Tom covered all warts for him until he wasn't prepared to do it any longer. At the same time he should look at the '07 season and realise what happens when you actually have super stars on the roster. Lets also not forget he tried to trade Gronk with no TE plan in place, got rid of TB with no QB plan in place. His arrogance is his downfall

BB is a glorified Rex Ryan type who lucked out with Brady. BB is a great defensive coordinator, so so/overrated HC, and one of the woest GMs in the NFL

This is a really interesting show. My favorite on Weei. We have to stop with the false tanking agenda. No NFL team wants to tank. Those players are not going to purposely play bad, lose their careers, and lose money just so the team can get a good draft pick. NFL players play their best every play. This is a trollish, sarcastic, cynical, lame nihilism talking point that sounds funny and cool to people with no integrity. Unfortunately the sports media is full of these kind of people. It’s easier for these fake people to make sarcastic jokes than admit they’re disappointed with the season. It’s ok to be disappointed, feel sad, hurt, angry etc.

@@APTTMH_3you don’t have to hit on all draft picks, but what you miss on you should be making up for in free agency which he hasn’t done well with either.
As for coaches coach, they also need to manage their entire team and get all of them to be willing to listen and follow them. On the offensive side, which he is JUST as responsible for coaching as defense and special teams because he is the head coach, those players to me haven’t trusted him since the mess of last year and the decisions he made and has been making, and it’s clear he doesn’t trust any of the QB’s HE brought in either.
I’m old school. I’m someone who believes, if you signed a 5-year deal to turn things around for the team I’m hiring you to coach, you should get at least 3-4 to show improvement and have the chance to lock in your system and get all your guys in place. The league clearly no longer follows that former unwritten rule, but that’s neither here nor there. Since Brady has left and he started (what was immediately to me) a new rebuild, he’s had 4 and instead of getting better thru a rebuild and showing promise, it’s got bad in year 3, and worse in year 4. That, to me, is why he should be fired.
