- Home DVD recorded video of my friends & I playing the original Xbox version of Burnout Revenge on Xbox Live. My gamertag is G ForceXX. The artist & title of the music in the vid is "The Shapeshifters - Lola's Theme". You can watch their video on youtube and elsewhere online. The game mode in the video is "Road Rage". The goal is to either crash or cause all the members of the rival team to wreck their car within a time limit. You only need to take them out once & the amount of players is limited to 6, 3 per team. If anyone wants 2 play, find me in game or on Burnout Paradise, out now as of Jan. 22, 2008. See ya on Live ;)

A message to all the haters. This video is posted to showcase real time game play, not how well any one player is doing. And for those that don't know anything about the (EDM) music playing in the video, here's some brief history. "Lola's Theme" was released on July 12th 2004 and upon its release went straight into the UK charts at #1. "Lola's Theme" also topped the American Dance Charts, peaking at #1 on the Hot Dance Airplay chart in October 2004. I watch this about once-a-year, just to relive the fun. Nothing has come close, since. There's always hope, though.
I thought about drinking a shot, every time my gamertag comes up on the screen, but I think I might die.
Wish I got to experience Revenge's online multiplayer. Shame I was too young
i didn't realise it had an online gamemode until they shut down the servers ;-;

Oh, one more thing. If you watch the video carefully, you'll notice that even though I was more focused on recording the video, my team still won. Also, I got the winning kill at the end. Now imagine if I wasn't recording for show & just playing for points. ;)
My favorite of the Burnout games. I remember playing the demo for 5 mins before I was on my way to the store to buy the full version. Absolutely loved this game. If Xbox One had a new game like this I would be being the Xbox One instead of the PS4. I don't know why Criterion hasn't made another one yet.

This is one of the best racing game in the world.
The original Burnout and Burnout 2 were released for GameCube as well, but their game play is much different then Burnout 3 and Revenge for the Xbox and Xbox 360.

Yea "me sucking" tends to happen when I'm more focused on recording the video rather than just playing for points. By the way, the mode you see is "Road Rage". The goal is to either crash or cause all the members of the rival team to wreck their car within a time limit. You only need to take them out once & the amount of players is limited to 6, 3 per team. I think the mode you're taking about is either "Traffic Checking" in single player or a normal race with the goal being the finish line. ;)

I Was playing this game at home when my GF came over and let her play a bit. She told me she would beat my ass, and i told her i would beat her ass blindfolded. We made a bet and i finished the miami themed map ( cant remember the name) without trafic blindfolded from begin to finish :p.

If I wanted to show skill rather then what Road Rage is, then I would have called it that.
You have to know the game and what I was playing to understand why I stoped. The game mode was Road Rage, where a team of red go after a team of blue and the object is to take out the other team. If you watch it slowly, there was one remaining blue behind me, and I went after it. That's how the red team won ;)
Did you see what I did, there? When I was taken town, I lured the red team ahead, to give the remaining blue a clear path. You didn't fall for it! Lol

i used to love this game but i was scared that place i kepted crashing into the edge of that :(
Good point. Smashing the cars out of the way makes it more adrenaline pumping for me lmao you can also get boost from checking traffic which makes it very useful for races, burning laps and Eliminator and even in Crash mode. I prefer Revenge over Takedown because there is more to the gameplay in Revenge, for example crashbreakers are more powerful, you can use crashbreakers in races/roadrage etc and I love the sound of the cars when you boost. There's a lot of reasons why I like Revenge more

I never played in Xbox Live with this game, you are playing in live. Anyway, I dont have Xbox live 4 my Xbox.
The video wasn't created with the intention of impressing anyone. The music is what I race too on my Xbox hard drive. I don't care if you don't like the music that I do. And about better races. Yes, I've been in better ones as well. Like yours, this one was random. If you wanna get good video quality, you gotta record your Xbox to a dvd recorder while playing. Then pop the dvd into a computer with a dvd-rw drive, and use a dvd converter software to transfer it to an uploadable format.

Yes, online multiplayer
For some reason I still prefer Burnout 3. You can crash into traffic here, which makes it less adrenalin pumping for me. In Burnout 3 you got the feeling of "oh dear avoid the traffic, take this turn, oh dear here's traffic, use them against the opponent, but oh dear how will I avoid them, aaah" if you know what I mean. Here, it's just.. "meh, I'll keep to the forward lane and just crush them, boosts my point, turbo, no backdrawal for it". Maybe it's just me though.

YES! u said it and i totally agree, u know i had my xbox so many years without any problems.. but so many people gets problems with for example the 360, i've heard it scratches many discs and it often goes broke
