But then way he/she ended it by continuing a horrible engagement to nail down making it coming down to rng rather than the skill shown in the middle part of the reply, I don't quite get it again and it just seemed to be the most undeserved pools I've seen.

Just in case somebody relatively new to the game is watching this: his early game approach will not work for you 9 out of 10 times if you're in a medium tank. On this map, you can often be influencial by playing the hill in the middle of it. It's not easy because there's a lot of shot corridors to be aware of, but it will increase your Winrate in the long run.
I was not impressed with this video. I have just started playing WoT again after a multi year hiatus, one thing I noticed quickly is how many heavy and medium tanks like to hang out at the back of the map and I mean, "fight with the TDs for the few good spots", back of the map and kalbo was no different. Just wonder what kind of difference it would have made if he had played his tank like the meatshield it was designed to do and leave the sniping to those better suited for it. Congratulations Paul, I hope the house is all you ever expect of it!
I hate to brake it to you but the meta has changed and the way this game is played has changed substantionaly in the last few years and with more and more overpowered heavy tanks that are added to the game. I personally am happy for those players, who use their superior view range and gun performance to outplay the heavys and kill them at range. But hey, just my two cents as a guy who IS actually playing this game activly and playing ALL of the tank classes reguarly and effectivly with over 53% average win rate across the last 8 years.
@@hannes8680 While in most circumstances I'd say you're right, look at the replay and tell me that, at least at the beginning, the positions of the medium tanks in that flank shouldn't have been the opposite. Both Kalbo and the UDES player should have taken the front, and let their lower tier teammates act as support, but they did the opposite, only moving forward when they had no more teammates to spot for them. There were no heavies there, were they? So your point is pretty much invalid. I'd say that anybody who's had a 53% winrate across the last 8 years could see that as well, but hey, what do I know. Kalbo might not be a bad player, but he isn't a great one either, based on many of his choices during the game, like wasting gold ammo at the beginning when he didn't need to, not switching to HE (or even regular AP) against the arties, or stopping in the middle of a field in front of the IS, like a deer blinded by headlights. First of all congrats on the home. I am a long term viewer and I really have no idea why you've chosen to show this replay. Because it has it all: - Sniping from the back of the map with a tank made for close combat - Doing no damage whatsoever while camping at the back - spamming gold at absolutely everything - only starting to play the game after his team already fought it out and lost - feasting on the 3 artys to farm damage. Of course you should take out the arty if you have the chance, but without this cheap damage his endresult would look a lot less remarkable. - completely botching his attack on the enemy artillery. I don't even know how he survived that. Guess the artyplayers were even more stupid. - bitching in chat There just wasn't really much good gameplay. He got lucky with his enemys, he sniped alot and from my perspective most of the time you credited him for using the concealment mechanics it was just coincidentally - enemy got spotted, he stopped and shot him, the bush was just there by chance.

Quick example, my furnace blower motor went out 3 days ago, i live in Minnesota and it was -18 F that day, fortunately i had ordered a replacement motor last year and had it on hand (2 is 1, 1 is none), easy change out took 10 minutes no waiting for the landlord or $1000 emergency HVAC call. Lesson Jingles, when there is a problem, and there will be, its Your problem. Note, i also already ordered a replacement blower motor in case the new one i installed goes out, 2 is 1 and 1 is none.

I'm not sure that this replay really deserved a replay. This guy basically just used his teammates as bait for the first 5-7 minutes of the battle, cleaned up the arty, and then only won because of some terrible play by the final 3 tanks on the opposing team. I guess most of the replays on this channel require some amount of good luck for the players to get the results they usually do, but those final 3 tanks played that situation about as poorly as you can play it
