Times are getting hard for everyone, please protect your possessions. Especially when people have access to you and know what you have. People are getting bolder.

Reflective is what most Van dwellers use. They are insulated and black on one side and silver o the reflex Clive side. Look into them. They help keep cold and heat out.
Greetings from Washington DC Anthony. Love your van build. The red appliances look really great. I do have a concern on just leaving the tinted windows uncovered, since that van is your home. I have a 2021 Chevy Tahoe, I don't live in my truck but I keep alot of stuff in it. In the right light, you can see through the factory tint that's in the back. I say what I say as a retired Police Officer, I would make some type of window covers. That's your home, and you don't want someone walking by with the sun at that right angle that they are able to see inside. I'm a person who has to have light where I live. I know people who like it dark all the time. Not to mention when it gets cold outside you will be able to retain more of your heat inside better with the traditional blackout covers. I would have two forms of window covers. One to black out the inside light. And a lighter form of window cover to let light in during the day, that may be a light gray curtain. It will keep people from seeing inside, but also let light in also. I processed crime scenes for over 20 of my 25 years on the Department. I'm only trying to help you protect your home. Just a consideration: the small inexpensive air fryers not only let you heat food up and make it crispy, they are amazing toasters. I use mine for pop tarts, muffins, bagels, toast and it makes things crisp which microwaves cannot do. I love a microwave for heating lots of things but it does not do crispy well.

I love love love it!! One tip for you, if you can get strap downs with buckles, personally they are way more pleasing to the eye. Bungee cords will sometimes snap at you when tight, the strap down belts will not. Another thing is, you can belt everything in one strap and take ONE belt off when settling for a time. Please continue to share all your thoughts and changes. I’m learning so much from you. I love the fact you don’t hesitate to change or return items that don’t fit your vision. Bravo! I wanted to add some thoughts about eating with dentures. When we eat, we often have a side we eat on…or spot. Like a sweet spot. That doesn’t work as well with dentures and partials. Best to take a bite in, move the food to BOTH sides and chew with food on both sides. You’ll have less sore spots and more even wear, overall. AND, if you have sore spots, that is perfectly natural as your gums heal and change. However, sore spots need to be addressed and adjusted, promptly. (Can you guess my former occupation? 😁). You and your friend are in my prayers for a safe and enjoyable road trip.💟

Anthony, your van is LAID, I love it. I agree the curtains will close it up and still let in cold/hot air. The window panels you did in the SUV will be perfect to do for the van because you will have the reflective with the fabric covering and will blackout people from looking in from the sides. I love the little touches too, like the FOA and the welcome mat, everything is absolutely gorgeous.

Love the color scheme and layout wowza, wowza good job! The microwave also allows you to warm water in a personal bowl to use to wash yourself, brush your teeth etc. Also good to quickly heat up water in a mug for instant coffee or hot chocolate.
Hey Anthony only if you want to…..if you can do an exact tracing of your windows with paper…something heavier then newspaper maybe like cardboard or thick paper bag paper something like. Trace the shape of all the windows exactly send those cut outs tracings to me and I can make you blackout inserts for all of your windows. That way you wouldn’t have to put a curtain up but you could still block out the front window for your privacy and it will help to keep your car warm in the winter and you wouldn’t have to worry about people seeing in the back of your car. I will make one side black the side that the people look on and then the other side I can do it in what fabric you would like! Just let me know! I can email you my info and we’ll can talk about it if you’d like.

Very nicely done, Sir. I made insulated panels for my windows and back hatch using Reflectix, some craft board I picked up at Lowe’s, (to use as an air barrier in between the Reflectix panels), some hot glue, electrical tape to seal the sides of the panels, and a poly fabric in black, the best I could find for the stealth purpose. It helped tremendously when I lived on the road in the coldest months of the winter. Some put insulated panels on the side windows of their vans, often times businesses, or they will use adhesive cling dot matrix window coverings, available on Amazon, similar to the darker tinting, which helps to hide much of the inside of the vehicle, while allowing you still to see outside very easily. I would suggest using that spare Reflectix, if you still have it, and cover the side windows with a fabric color that blends with your vehicle color, which can be easily taken on and off, when needed and is simple to store, most likely beneath your bed. Additionally, I would go with a black fabric for the back panel. It ain’t easy making those panels, but they really do keep one warmer, seriously. Also, a cockpit curtain is easily achieved with shower rods and such, and black velvet fabric, although quite expensive, reflects light the best, especially of oncoming car headlights or the flashlight of the fuzz…lol…and works very effectively and efficiently, ensuring the stealth of your living arrangement. You have done an excellent job, Sir, and have surely inspired many, including me. Stay safe out there. 👍

Your minivan looks really nice. It appears to be very comfortable without any clutter. Earlier this summer I bought a Jackery 1000 that I use for my camping trips and it is really handy. I bought a small Dash Griddle that I use for making pancakes and cooking eggs. I also have a cheap Walmart kettle that turned out to be very useful. I just empty a 500 ml bottle of water in the kettle, plug it into the Jackery, and within 4 or 5 minutes I have boiling water to use for my coffee or instant noodles. It would be interesting to hear how you charge your Jackery. I assume that you are relying on your vehicles 12 volt system for charging, but I don't know that for sure. It would be appreciated if you would discuss your Jackery charging process and whether or not you will be using a solar panel. Take care and thank you for the video.

Idk I just wanted to mention it as an alternative to having to having many appliances . I’m definitely getting this bc of my small kitchen. It’s on Amazon and Macys and Bed Bath & Beyond. Very cool build . The microwave to me is one appliance I can't live without . I can cook meat in microwave,pork chops, steak , bacon , turkey , chicken and brown hamburger . I have a pampered chef steamer and I can cook yellow rice in ten minutes . I make potato soup in the wave . There are cook books available that give you tips on how to cook foods in microwave. My set I found at goodwill have 4 books . One for meats, veggies , breads etc.

Hey Anthony, I love your new home! Loved the music during the initial tour, too. You have a great sense of style and color. I’m hoping that ottoman is a storage unit as well, as it’s valuable space. Please continue to share all your thoughts and changes. I’m learning so much from you. I love the fact you don’t hesitate to change or return items that don’t fit your vision. Bravo! I wanted to add some thoughts about eating with dentures. When we eat, we often have a side we eat on…or spot. Like a sweet spot. That doesn’t work as well with dentures and partials. Best to take a bite in, move the food to BOTH sides and chew with food on both sides. You’ll have less sore spots and more even wear, overall. AND, if you have sore spots, that is perfectly natural as your gums heal and change. However, sore spots need to be addressed and adjusted, promptly. (Can you guess my former occupation? 😁). You and your friend are in my prayers for a safe and enjoyable road trip.💟

Anthony, your van is LAID, I love it. I agree the curtains will close it up and still let in cold/hot air. The window panels you did in the SUV will be perfect to do for the van because you will have the reflective with the fabric covering and will blackout people from looking in from the sides. I love the little touches too, like the FOA and the welcome mat, everything is absolutely gorgeous.

Love the color scheme and layout wowza, wowza good job! The microwave also allows you to warm water in a personal bowl to use to wash yourself, brush your teeth etc. Also good to quickly heat up water in a mug for instant coffee or hot chocolate.
Hey Anthony only if you want to…..if you can do an exact tracing of your windows with paper…something heavier then newspaper maybe like cardboard or thick paper bag paper something like. Trace the shape of all the windows exactly send those cut outs tracings to me and I can make you blackout inserts for all of your windows. That way you wouldn’t have to put a curtain up but you could still block out the front window for your privacy and it will help to keep your car warm in the winter and you wouldn’t have to worry about people seeing in the back of your car. I will make one side black the side that the people look on and then the other side I can do it in what fabric you would like! Just let me know! I can email you my info and we’ll can talk about it if you’d like.

Very nicely done, Sir. I made insulated panels for my windows and back hatch using Reflectix, some craft board I picked up at Lowe’s, (to use as an air barrier in between the Reflectix panels), some hot glue, electrical tape to seal the sides of the panels, and a poly fabric in black, the best I could find for the stealth purpose. It helped tremendously when I lived on the road in the coldest months of the winter. Some put insulated panels on the side windows of their vans, often times businesses, or they will use adhesive cling dot matrix window coverings, available on Amazon, similar to the darker tinting, which helps to hide much of the inside of the vehicle, while allowing you still to see outside very easily. I would suggest using that spare Reflectix, if you still have it, and cover the side windows with a fabric color that blends with your vehicle color, which can be easily taken on and off, when needed and is simple to store, most likely beneath your bed. Additionally, I would go with a black fabric for the back panel. It ain’t easy making those panels, but they really do keep one warmer, seriously. Also, a cockpit curtain is easily achieved with shower rods and such, and black velvet fabric, although quite expensive, reflects light the best, especially of oncoming car headlights or the flashlight of the fuzz…lol…and works very effectively and efficiently, ensuring the stealth of your living arrangement. You have done an excellent job, Sir, and have surely inspired many, including me. Stay safe out there. 👍

Your minivan looks really nice. It appears to be very comfortable without any clutter. Earlier this summer I bought a Jackery 1000 that I use for my camping trips and it is really handy. I bought a small Dash Griddle that I use for making pancakes and cooking eggs. I also have a cheap Walmart kettle that turned out to be very useful. I just empty a 500 ml bottle of water in the kettle, plug it into the Jackery, and within 4 or 5 minutes I have boiling water to use for my coffee or instant noodles. It would be interesting to hear how you charge your Jackery. I assume that you are relying on your vehicles 12 volt system for charging, but I don't know that for sure. It would be appreciated if you would discuss your Jackery charging process and whether or not you will be using a solar panel. Take care and thank you for the video.
If Im not mistaken the jackery can be charged by solar panels, he also goes to the library to charge it.
Hello Anthony, I love what you’ve done so far. Might I suggest instead of a bungee cord, you use Nautical rope, or any rope to keep with your wood decor and to look more classier than the bungee cords. 💛

Anthony have u looked at the Ninja 8 in 1? It is very compact. It is a toaster oven, air fryer , broiler, baking u name it. Idk I just wanted to mention it as an alternative to having to having many appliances . I’m definitely getting this bc of my small kitchen. It’s on Amazon and Macys and Bed Bath & Beyond. Just wanted to mention it cuz I thought u might be interested. Have a great day.
Thats a great suggestion...I picked one up during the last Amazon prime event it was still a little pricey but it worth it.

Very cool build . The microwave to me is one appliance I can't live without . I can cook meat in microwave,pork chops, steak , bacon , turkey , chicken and brown hamburger . I have a pampered chef steamer and I can cook yellow rice in ten minutes . I make potato soup in the wave . There are cook books available that give you tips on how to cook foods in microwave. My set I found at goodwill have 4 books . One for meats, veggies , breads etc.
