This was painful to watch as a Florida fan. We should have honestly lost this game. Got dominated, and if you don't believe me, just look at the box score.
FSU lost to Jacksonville State last year, but they are now headed in the right direction. Mullen left the cupboard bare.
We will see if they can get better...they did get out played.
And the refs helped them out too

refs were not going to allow UF to go into TN with a 1-2 record. horribly blatant. 1st half, same drive, phantom pass interference and then, after failing on 4th down, ref calls unnecessary on a USF safety again UF OL. 2 phantom calls.
Those 2 calls changed the game considerably. Refs know what they are doing, Florida would have got smoked without them.

This was an outstanding game
Officials helped Florida a couple times and South Florida had some mental errors... but overall, Florida got outplayed and didn't deserve the win.
But, as they say, a win is a win

Some really stupid mistakes cost the Bulls the win. Great game though. USF looks stronger and more balanced than they have in awhile. FL, you got some breaks and capitalized when you could.
We got a coach who seems like he has a solid rebuild in place. Hoping this is signs to come for our program. Loss stings, but gives me hope for the future.

Napier is evaluating the players. It takes time, and sometimes you have to put them in situations they aren't comfortable with to find out what they've got. I am actually glad this game was a challenge and not the blowout people expected. Also losing Miller was huge, UF missing a few key players pretty much put them at about the talent-level of USF. And USF's quarterback was pretty good at Baylor, so it's no surprise he outplayed AR.

In the first 30 seconds when he says he took a little bit off of it and was accurate I'm thinking well that was stupid he was wide open he should have fired it in there as fast as possible while staying accurate he could have ran for a touchdown instead he gave him a lollipop ball and it basically led him out of bounds
