The refs were on some bs and everyone who was there can’t deny it😡 that being said my Bulls really sold with the bad snap 😭
I learned three things from this game. 1) we need to stop with this even RB rotation and make Montrell our RB1. 2) Ventrell Miller plays an even bigger roll than I thought. 3) Anthony needs some type of competition behind him so he’s forced to rectify his mistakes knowing he can be replaced

Johnson the best player. He avg 17.0 a carry in that game and before that was avg. 7.4 a carry but we steadily throwing it.

Agreed. I saw this game live and the end zone was as right there. It was an easy pass and run, but people are going to make mistakes. To add on to Florida's game, the defense needs to cover their areas better. Have opened sauce is not ok what so ever, there's definitely going to be some talk during film.
He’s not very good and that Kentucky game I pretty much knew. I had high hopes for him because he looked faster and confident last year before the injury, but he’s not the answer at full time QB. USF QB is better.
@@RonJP-pm7jp obviously the coaches have gotten into his head, and he’s forcing passes when he could take off and run. I get that they want- and need- him to be a pocket passer too, but he’s being coached into his own head and it’s not paying off at all.

I’m a gator fan I understand AR’s still young experience wise but his play lost us the Kentucky game (2 INT = 2 TD’s) and almost lost us this game. He has a lot of learning to do and the defense is awful without ventrell miller
Gator fan as well, and I completely agree with Richardson. Tremendous talent, but his decision making and mechanics are a real concern at the moment. I'm rooting for em and hope he makes that leap.

I feel Richardson just thinking to much,causing him to force throws he had plenty of running room on multiple plays for first downs four yards here and there on 1st and 2nd down missed handoff would have scored most likely throws interception..? We need to run Trevor and Johnson and get Anthony Richardson moving around out of the pocket more he’s not a pocket passer yet lol

Was thinking the same thing watching this game. I thought this against Kentucky but I gave him the benefit of a doubt since Kentucky is a good team. But against one of the worst pass defenses in the country? We won’t get very far. I’m not confident in us beating Tennessee at all

Florida has the starters of a ranked team and the reserves of an FCS school. That's the real problem.
That’s only a problem when you play Georgia Alabama ect…not when play a Kentucky and USF. Coaching and in game adjustments is the issue right now. The only thing they got down pack is the run game. Billy looking sus with play calling and QB development right now
People forget how young this team is. Freshman all over the place. Etienne, McCellan, James, Moore, Mitchell, Scooby Williams, Sapp, Barber, Boone. A ton of sophomores Watson, Fraziars, Marshall, Montrell Johnson, Trevez Johnson, Richardson, Helm, Kimber, Powell. Many of them true sophomores. A lot of those freshman aren’t just playing significant snaps… THEY ARE STARTING!! THIS TEAM IS YOUNG!! And learning a brand new scheme/playbook. Calm down… this is what rebuilding looks like
I agree. But we say this all the time. And three years/subpar recruiting/multi portal tranfers later, we are talking about a new coach. WE have to do a better job at recruiting and bringing guys through a sustained system beyond three years. Oh yeah, it's normally at year three that we fire folk and usher in a NEW system. Gators, we gotta do a better job!
Tragic ending for the Bulls but I feel the best is yet to come.
Congrats USF for a hard fought game and successful ground attack. What was AR doing throwing a fade on 1st and goal from the 5? It seems he's thinking of the draft when he really needs to admit he needs to come back next year. His draft stock is falling fast.

Was not based on him not starting Richardson. It was because he would start seniority over skill. He also completely lost the locker room last year, the situation was toxic. And any Florida shitting on Billy already is ridiculous, play calling has been questionable but other than that what can they expect him to do with a team with no real depth. He's already turned their recruiting around, give FL a couple years and they'll be top contenders.
Also I will say as a FL fan, we overhyped Richardson knowing the horrible mistakes he made last year. Most of thought he'd be able to take that much needed step up knowing he'd be the starter all off season. He can make plays, just has to make the right decisions and work on his mechanics

Richardson is a work in progress, his accuracy is a challenge to overcome and his decision making too, he’ll be a second or third round selection definitely

I’m a Vol fan and I’m actually worried about this game with the gators this weekend. Some people in our fanbase think we are going to beat them easily and they’re delusional!
We haven’t even played a decent team yet. We struggled and barely beat Pitt..who barely beat WV..who got beat up by Kansas Jayhawks.
Florida has already played two legit good teams and beat one of them and had a good close game against the other

As a Gator fan this team has a ways to go to be better. Yes a great running back group that along with the offensive line that blocks good for the backs. I know that Florida wants to be a running the ball type of team however if you can't throw the ball you become one dementional. Run to open up the pass game pass to open up the run game. On the defensive side need to play a little tighter on the wide receivers instead of playing 10-15 yards off the line of scrimmage. Got burnt too many times like that. One more thing open up the play book more and don't be so predictable.
AR 15 might be the worst supposedly good college football player of the last 20 years.

I trust Napier. I believe he needs time to build this program back. I think were seeing the lack of talent start to hurt us now. It will be a rough season. But UF will be better for it.
That being said. This was a horrible/sloppy game. No defending that. I think Napier and company just need to know were a running team. Trevor and Johnson is our 1, 2 punch. That is our bread and butter. We don't have speed at WR. Plus since our QB is inexperienced...we need to take more stress off of him.
Lastly our defense needs to improve at stopping the run too. That was embarrassing. Hopefully this defense improves after a week of practice.

AR needs to look confident and hungry, he spends time looking at himself on the big screen, he lacks poise he knows we know he has what it takes COME ON we have good running backs …. Another good Qb will be healthy for the competition . The coaches need to boost the team. Nap is a bit soft tor the moment.
I don't think Richardson is bright enough to be a quarterback. Keeps making same mistakes over and over. Cannot throw the ball at all. Doesn't go through progressions. Gets locked on 1 receiver and then makes terrible throws. I say sit him down. Give Kitna a chance. See if he learns anything from watching. Although it seems he didn't learn from last year.
Love AR but he’s been playing very timid lately & thinking the game way too much causing him to make mistakes. He just needs to relax & play off his instincts but also use his #1 weapon his LEGS.
And then we loose by 38 the next game. Says a lot about Florida.

24-10! How does Florida not protect this lead? Lack of gap discipline on defense. But Etienne is the real deal. With so many good looking backs, why are short passes to them not in the playbook? Perhaps saving for Tennessee? I sincerely hope there is a LOT the Gators are hiding. Not expecting to find the Vols so graciously generous next week.

Florida Gators fan here but I am not impressed with that win. My Gators sucked that night. Props to South Florida, they were supposed to get blown out but hung with us the whole way. I am not impressed with this win and my Gators did not deserve to win that game. And worse of all Napier acted proud after that win. Not even Jim Mcelwain was impressed when his gators team in 2015 had an ugly win against ECU

Richardson is just not an accurate passer, holds the ball too long and I don't see him making it as QB for the Gators.
Napier is using AR the wrong way. It’s obvious when he goes from how he played against Utah, to the last two games. Dude has zero confidence. Defense lacks experience, and with the two freshman linebackers, they had no run defense.
