@@MrHazz0 There were only WV jerseys around. If anyone blocked him into the receiver it would have been a WV teammate. The receiver was hit and nearly on the ground by time the ball got there.
I'm not a big fan of either team so I have no skin in this game. You are 100% correct that was a really bad no call. Probably the 2nd worst I've seen all season. #1 IMO was the "Phantom offsides call on missed field goal leads to Notre Dame TD",
@@MrHazz0 That was as clear of a kick catch interference as I've seen. He ran into him chest-to-chest before the ball arrived. No one pushed him. He simply just didn't stop in time.
@@five0pd310 watch at .25, the defender slows up in one step after the wave for fair, catch, imo a normal reaction time, what happens happens.
This was an exciting game to watch, TCU just never looses focus when they're down so many points. They keep playing hard and getting more points on the board. I thought it was hilarious how the announcers thought TCU would be in trouble when they saw Quinton limp over to the sideline, and then the next play Max throws a TD pass to Barber! Lol I was like dude Max got plenty of good receivers to throw to, he don't need just Quinton.
A great team always find a way to win
I was afraid this was going to be a trap game for TCU. Coming off 4 straight HUGE wins over top 25 opponents and going into a hostile place like Morgantown where it's notoriously tough to be the visiting team just set the tone for what could have been an ugly loss in a game they should win. This is what great teams do, though. They just win. Who Wah Wah Who, give 'em hell TCU!!

It started out as a tough match up .. but west virginia defense kept leaving tcu receivers wide open in the secondary .. everytime tcu scored the stadium was on Q.T. (Quiet Time) 🤐🤐🤫🤫🤫

@@iceintheair s there were lots of make up calls in the game, but this was not. They just missed the call. When the went to review, they figured out they screwed up, you can not review a penalty. All they can review was the player touched the ball with his leg. Then after that the makeup call began. Especially when the Wvu receiver was held in the end zone. Now that was the make up call for the botched punt fumble interference with the receiver.
JT Daniels is a great QB.

The NCAA was definitely after TCU
Neil Brown scrwed up when he thought this secondary was going to be adequate. This thing alone should get him fired. If he had an average secondary this season would look alot different. Every week its the same thing. They can't play zone. They can't play man to man. The next coach will have to replace the whole secondary unit and maybe most of the LB's they can't cover either.
The turf made a great open-field tackle at 7:16.

Two weeks ago, Oklahoma State had the 130th ranked defense (out of 131, I believe) and TCU had 111th. But TCU had the 3rd highest scoring offense, so there's that.
Im SO proud of TCU but i have to face the fact that our defense is not strong enough to beat one of the top 5 teams.

The refs blow the call on the WV incomplete pass, so they hose TCU on blatant fair catch interference to make up for it. That crew needs a stiff reprimand for pulling shit like that.
0:27 The ref literally sees the WVU guy pushing the helmet of the TCU guy and just gives a verbal. Any other hands to the face is a flag.

9:09 Probably one of the best catches in college football this year, definitely of the game. Guy did a Superman dive to catch the ball, spearheading the TCU defender. The audio gets cut off, but the announcer(s) assumed the officials would review this as "clear targeting" by TCU. Note: this play ended with 4 minutes 12 seconds left in the 4th.
9:31 Either Dykes or Riley made one of the stupidest play calls, going for _three straight passes_ with barely 4 minutes left in the game. First two plays took less than 9 seconds as incomplete passes. We were yelling at the coaches for those stupid plays.

I agree. TCUs defense is too weak to beat a top five team--or the top six teams above them. They will do well to hold seventh place. But it's been a great year. No private religious school is expected to go that high. Unless it is Baylor or Notre Dame.

They could have what it takes to beat Clemson or Tennessee, Tennessee's secondary has been awful this year, and it could be a shootout, and Clemson is slightly vulnerable

@@kylegabriel5794 I wouldn’t say beating them by 10 points and converting the spread is “barely” beating them but as a TCU fan, I do agree about the CFP. I hate how garbage this defense is but I also think it’s a mix of the environment because Morgantown isn’t an easy place to play at tbh.
