- The Karizma XMR is Hero's new motorcycle that enters the 200cc segment dressed in sportsbike clothes. There's a lot of firsts for Hero on this bike. It's their first thoroughly modern engine in the sense of it being a 4-valve DOHC single cylinder with liquid-cooling, a slip-assist clutch. Of course, globally this a fairly basic and popular configuration. The engine is designed to produce its performance -- numerically very good! -- high in the rev range with torque peaking past 7,000rpm and the power peak north of 9,000. Hero's using a new trellis frame with normal forks up front and a preload adjustable monoshock at the back. Grippy, if skinny, MRF tyres round out the package. This wrapped up in very sharp bodywork that gives the XMR both style and presence. The finish levels look good and deliveries are expected to start September 2023 from all Hero dealers, not just the new line of premium dealers. One thing which can't be ignored is how hero is changing itself from their shadow under Honda to be an equal or even more to Honda now. There new models form Xoom to Karizma are it's evidence . They r giving more importance to practical designs rather than booring design. It feels proud when our own companies perform and keep performing.

1. Buy a second hand R15 v3 for the first 6 months, get used to fairing, committed riding position
2. Buy a BS-III RC390 for next 6 months
3. You're good to go for CBR 650 after a year
4. Buy whatever post 2 years, panigale 959, H2, BMW 1000RR or R1
You can skip the steps in between if you feel confident.

Hero just lack one thing that is reliability..but if you look another way bad reliability give you freedom to be a good mechanic you can know you motarcycle more it makes you feel good...but also it was going to breakdown anywhere so it comes with pros and cons

@@bosu1855Yeah warranty is great and also in my state parts of the hero is easily and I can easily fix my hero at home available compared to many other brands. And I am not criticizing the hero but the hero really needs to improve their reliability.

Shumi, how does power & torque feel different when riding?
At the most simple (and slightly inaccurate) level, torque is what happens for the first half of performance in any gear, and power is what happens in the second half as you race towards the redline.

I am facing engile heating issue even after 3-5 kms range, can you plz help what could be the reason from your exp, it was delivered on last sunday, total run 80km
Don't worry it's common for all bikes to have heating issues during initial 5k kms .Because the piston is in close tolerance with cylinder,hence more friction will be there ,due to that ,there will be more heat.
After 3-4 service , your bike will become much smoother and less heat will be there.
Even my xpulse had heating issue in first few thousand kms after 3rd service ,it became cooler.Its also the fault of engine oil I guess because hero uses 10w-30 oil for every bike of there's .Try riding for few thousand kms,if still heat is significant,then change oil to 10w-40 Motul oil

It hasn't been worth buying ever since the Ninja 400 came out. The 400 _replaces_ the 300 in most markets around the world. Somehow, we get the N300 at the price, the 400 should be at.

Zmr was 225 cc. This is 210, even after a decade, no power up
CC is not everything and for your info xmr produces more power and torque compared to zmr 🙌🏼.
There is a limit to how much power you can generate from 210cc. This bike won't perform in sales like zmr in the presence of ktms and bajaj.
