You need to use something like a hakko 191 to test the temperature. As homework you can lookup the limits on your thermal imager and reflective items....
that temperature is not close it is much higher. Your using a thermal camera on someting shinny so there is too much reflection. if there was a piece of electrical tape on it you would get a true temperature but the tape would probably melt. You need something with more emissivity to get the true temperature. its a shame there is no way to adjust the temp on the soldering iron.
I love this soldering iron and I use it all the time. Almost every day. It's a great tool. Not sure why it has bad reviews.
I was just looking at switching from my makita 18v set to all m12 milwaukee. I saw this soldering iron and was super interested. Great video.
I use a plug in soldering iron with the Amazon Dewalt compatible power inverter. Also use it to power my corded Dremel. No problems.
It seems like a good idea. But you need at least 400 degrees Fahrenheit to solder correctly?
That's what I was thinking for electronic stuff I've always thought 360-400. Not seeing the benefits of this tool for me at least

homework? I'll add that to the list of things I won't be doing
@@TheStruggleville Nah take the L dude. Instead of accepting that you learned something new today you got mad.
What is the model number of the heat gun?

It is nice, but way too bulky to be practical

Not when it takes 2+ minutes to heat up and they claim 18 seconds 😂
I usually love your product reviews, but you didn't even solder with it. Thumbs down.
