This is the best performance of the c minor passacaglia I ever heard and the sound of the Kenedy Cembalo is amazing.
It would be difficult to imagine a better performance of this wonderful work equaled only by some of the finest organists. Ladies, your playing is of the highest order, the instrument is superb and the sound engineer got everything just right. Bravo!

Wow....The most dramatic performance of this piece ever....it is grooving in amazing synchronization to the level that I didn't think it was possible.....Very exiting performance indeed...I wish Bach could hear this. I imagine full smile on his face listening to this.
The best harpsichord interpretation i have listened. From now on Im gonna open this when i want to listen passacaglia, that is for sure.

Modern studio technology makes wonders.
It's originally an organ piece. I thought this quite daring really. I think one of the ladies doubled up the (organ) pedal part to thicken the texture. Works rather well, don't you think?
Btw, that was definitely the most "in tune" harpsichord I ever heard...you might think it would lose some of it's tuning during this marathon, but it doesn't!

Beautiful, dramatic interpretation. The silence before the resolution was a cliffhanger. I love how you expressed each voice in all the registers. The sound engineering is absolutely superb.

Exquisite! One is able to clearly hear every Voice entrance and line.
Sorry tell my my organist friends that this complex masterpiece can be more clearly grasped and understood in this adaptation than in most turgid organ recordings.
Biggs, Karosi, Alain, Fox and a few others have given us suitably registrated organ recordings.
This particular harpsichord transport clear and outstanding sound. Considering the natural medium of an abandoned house, the performers give a regal, stately performance of J.S. Bach - PASSACAGLIA! The video recording, the acoustics and the landscape are unique and accentuate the beauty of the PASSACAGLIA! Extraordinary editing and choreography! KUDOS to the artist and the camera team.
11:14 - oh.. Stop... now I think that is perhaps the BEST performance I have Ever heard of that piece.

Mind-blowing!And I think I recognise Galgano Abbey, as seen in Tarkovsky's Nostalghia. Fantastic images set to incredible music.

I mostly know this work of Bach's from Stokowski's transcription for orchestra and recordings of Biggs' organ recitals. Hearing it on this magnificent instrument, performed consummately by these lovely musicians, is to experience the work fully. The clarity of timbre and resonance of this Kennedy harpsichord is astounding. Having only ever heard harpsichords on recordings, I nevertheless feel that I have now experienced the instrument, with its inimitable and nimble voicing, for the very first time.

La pausa prima della chiusa è troppo lunga ! Per il resto la resa di questo brano, che di solito si ascolta eseguito all'organo, è IMHO semplicemente magnifica. La regìa video la trovo a tratti fastidiosa. Il cembalo di Kennedy è meraviglioso. L'ambientazione dovrebbe essere in Toscana ( San Galgano ?) ma non sono sicuro : avevo letto da qualche parte che Bruce Kennedy si era trasferito da quelle parti.
