I ordered my megane rs trophy edc in february and received it 14 days ago... the car is pure porn... fantastic to drive,responsive and the grip is outstanding... its like its glued to the road... and the exhaust is very good... the edc works very good and quickly changes the gear... i have it with standard renault sport seats with alcantara and they are the option to choose.. i tried those recaros and they are not comfortable belive me... plus standard ones are heated.. recaros arent.... and the ride quality is insane... the way that car goes into corners... 👏👏👌👌🥳
GKY hey... i payed 39.400€ with all options... so all the options i mean all only recaros and panorama roof not... everything else including warning and safety features and with winter tyres included and free services till reacihnig 100.000 km... i would never buy a car like this used... it is much better if u order it and you know how you have driven it... especially at the beginning
I drive Megane 2007, 1.5 dci but it drives really great. 86hp but it has a feeling that it goes faster than it actually does, how it manages to do that I just don't know honestly. Also about handling, handles turns and corners like a little champ, even tho tyres aren't in their best shape. Maybe I will go for 4 new Michelin tyres, just imagine grip on them

I don't like Renaults but glad you are expanding your videos into as many manufacturers as possible. Time for the new supra drive... And the new z4. Need to test drive more Japanese cars though. I think this car is blistering perfection! I wouldn't like any all wheel drive, automatic, double clutch whatever whatever.... i like the fact that Renault makes modern sports hatches with the same old school recipe, it's the same recipe since the 80's but with modern materials, analysis and execution. Still the same fun, engaging and analogue fun cars. I wish they sold these in my country but they don't... one reason to move elsewhere haha! Great video mate, it sure justifies the subscription! Make more with this car if you have the chance!
Renault's "sport" version with "TURBO" were a lot more agressive in the 80's. Ok, today there is a lot better performance but the driving sensations and the turbo response in the 80's were more brutal and a little bit dangerous because the chassis were not as excellent as today. To me, the most brutal and dangerous RENAULT ever made is the Clio V6 phase 1 in the 2000's.

Who cares. The People Who goes for 0-100 and 100-200 times on the trophy misses the point on the Car. Its build for fast road and track use. Not for small sprints. :)
The majority of car makers have badges galore on their special models yet, Renault seems to do the opposite. A "Trophy" badge on the rear would've been adequate.
I drove an RS280 and didn't feel the 4 control the way he, or some other youtubers describe it. It just feels like the car is eager to turn in and pivoting around your backside.

I am usually not a big fan of French automobiles especially Renault. However, la Mégane, is a beautiful exception. I would love to buy a Mégane when my kids are able to go to school all by themselves. For the moment I still have to chauffeur them around, hence a larger car.
whoever say this is the king of FWD in Nurburgring doesn't know what's going on. It's NOT even the Trophy R but the Type R FK8 is still the FWD king in Nurburgring. the Megane Trophy R lap record is not entirely correct if compared to Type R lap record. The Type R is still the faster.

I thought this Megane was available only automatic... Nice to see there is manual. Nothing beats a manual car. If the previous one in Portugal was 41,000€ no sat nav and 41,800€ with sat nav, I want to see how much this one will cost...lol Whats your preference in between this one and the i30 n?
Both are great and you wont go wrong if you choose either one. They are feeling different typeR is easier to drive to the limit while Megane has its own character and a bit learning curve
I had this car for 6 months and It was sporty and comfort was not great, obviously. I loved it, but what I hated was the manual transition. It was so clunky. Never felt smooth. 2nd thing I hated was that your profile was never saved. Every time I sat in the car, I had to change into sport profile from eco, because it never booted up the one I had on last. Super annoying
In the facelift model, you always start in Mysense mode. You can configure Mysense with all the Sport mode characteristics so it is the same as sport mode and you will start with those customisations. Otherwise it really is just 1 press of the RS button to switch from Mysense to Sport mode.
Wow nice car even though I never before would have considered Renault to produce a car I would be interested in to be honest. All those AMGs have given me too high standards lol
@Renault Turbo Where did I say it's slow? Just that there are competitors with more powerful engines. Besides, the record was set with a Trophy R which is much lighter than the regular version.

GKY sometimes those 1500 is like 150.000... a car like this must be driven very slow and 3500 rpm max till 4.000 km made... good luck ;)
