great tips bro I had been washing my brushes in hot water and noticed wood would crack or the bristles will weaken. I was thinking it was just the nature of washing brushes but this video definitely has some good explanations and tips.

I would personally use an air sprayer for electronics to dry my brush. VERY important to hold the can as upright as possible, and to do a small preliminary test spray away from the brush just in case it shoots ice.

I just ordered 5 torino pro n royalty brushes today....ima barber so i need to make sure my joints hella clean n disinfected for every client. I knew i shouldve just bought the duo wash n style/all purpose jawns since ima be cleanin my brushes ALOT🤦♀️ but them royaltys arent comin back so either way, i dont regret the purchase but ugh! Ima have to get the all purpose torino pros tho tbh cuz i aint tryna ruin the ogs. Cuz even with this wash method if i do it everyday, they going to crack fa sho🥺 I already knew better but i was too geeked to see the pointed royalty 902 n 904s still available tho. I actually wanted the 901 but they gone..thats the best brush ive used so far.

Great vid great details and great way to pay respect to a WHOF. Her waves make you go WHOA. I too use only the cool air with the dryer and let them dry face down at least 5 hrs. The fan dries great as well.

Okay ...I did the wash and style method with my brush and I let it air dry but wen I wanted to brush myvhair after washing and styling .I noticed my bristle are all soft and not as firm as it should be I'm a little bit worried because this is a new brush 🔥🔥😥😑 but I will wait and see tomorrow whether or not my brush is back to normal
They turn over the brush during drying because water evaporates upwardly meaning it will go into the wood of the brush so the last step is most important turn it upside down

Appreciating the content and just finished watching “The Kraken” video you just put up (still debating between buying that or the extra hard from amazon). How often would you recommend someone buying/replacing a brush? Only if it’s not useable and/or not being cleaned properly? Reason I asked is because I typically by a replacement brush every other year or something like that (example replaced a hard brush with a new one-> old one becomes shower brush, shower brush is trashed). I haven’t seen any research saying replacing is necessary but still. Appreciate you as always bruh.

i did what you said with my torino medium brush and now there are cracks at the brush
My brush cracked and I only ran it under cold water for 5-10 seconds no soap just water i let it dry upside down and it was cracked 30 mins later , is it just the paint ? Can I still use it ? I think cold water is worse cause it makes the brush stiff which leads to cracking idk it never happened to me before ...
My medium hard brush is now soft after this.

It shouldn’t take a 20 minute video to explain to folks how to clean a hair brush! I am not pleased that after purchasing 3 wooden Toriano Pro brushes that I was sent to TH-cam to watch this particular video just to see how they recommend that their brushes be cleaned.
