Thank you so much for making this straight and easy. You don’t need baking soda, barbercide and long drawn out videos for something so simple. All I ever use is shampoo to clean my brushes/combs but adding apple cider vinegar is a good idea to disinfect them so that’s what I’ll do too.
This is going to sound gross probably, but I never realized I had to clean combs more then removing old hair from them. I just wanted to clean combs I was donating, but now I’m going to clean the ones I’m keeping as well
Really depends on how much and what product you use in your hair. For the longest time I didn't even use conditioner, only shampoo and never had any build up in my brushes beyond loose hair so cleaning was a breeze. Now I have a conditioner that really builds up in the brush and I had to check how to clean it for the first time in 25 years.
I take out the hair each time I use the hair comb and wash it with shampoo and baking soda every month. my hair brush is 12 years old now still looks brand new.
No, this will not disinfect your tools how barbacide does, I recommend still issuing barbacide after cleaning them especially if you are using them on others

Thanks for getting straight to the point and not giving me a 30 minute lecture, 10 minute show off your products. And then 2 minutes of content.
This was money!!!! My combs look brand new, thank you!
Glad I could help!

Yesss thanks. Ima do ACV then a lil alcohol while it dries lol
can you js use vinegar?
Thank you❤
I use Dawn dish soap
I clean I’m brushes every time I use them. I get so ocd about hair being my combs and brushes.
I wish I could, but im honestly so lazy
If you have an AFRO PIC that makes it really easy to get the hair out of the brushes.
is this a barbacide alternative?

This video was sooo necessary lol I’ll be trying this method with the ACV soon 💕
