Warren u can interchange john deere winch parts with the cat ines too.....c&c equipment out indiana are deakers for winch parts too.... give a call and see if he can help u to......hes a heavy equipment dealership and repair to...he caters to old school iron too....
I remember years ago working on and old Dresser scraper fixing leaks. The guy told me that because the price of hydraulic fluid was so high it was now cheaper to fix the leaks rather than just adding more fluid.

Hello Warren. We have some dry sell batteries. They are half the size of the old wet batteries. But they are just has heavy. They are good though. I have one on my tractor that works a geared starter. For starting in the winter months it's perfect. I never have any troubles with it. A good quality starter makes a big difference.

Sorry to hear about your foot, Warren. I’m a Trustee for our Pipefitters Union, and oversee the Health Care and other plans. It’s absolutely amazing how much it costs for healthcare. Most people use the emergency room like a family doctor, but like you said an x-ray would cost 5 to 10 times or more in an emergency room situation. You can tell you’re paying for your healthcare, because you shop around and get the best deals. We had to change our deductibles to deter people from using the emergency room so much. My wife had a health issue in August that put her in ICU on a Ventilator for almost a week, I was glad to have good health insurance and access to great doctors. We pay good money for our insurance, a little under 2K per month. I’m looking forward to seeing what you find leaking on the big Deere, I didn’t realize they were hydro drive, it sounded like that when you drove it, but wasn’t sure. I really appreciate your videos. Thanks again for dragging us along with you.

C@c equipment just fixed a winch on a johndeer had a shaft to it it ran continuously there was a hydraulic pump inside the winch had it's own tank looks like same set up still appreciate you 👍

I agree CNC equipment does do an awful lot of cat stuff. Also KT3406E Does alot of Cat sales in Parts!! You could contact Him. Really great guy!! About you foot!! They don't usually have a fix for a broken bone in your foot. They'll just end up putting it in a cast or something that effect. But you may have to just wait for it to heal. Take care try not to do too much!!

Sorry you hurt your foot.i feel your pain.my pain comes from both my knees having to cartilage left in them.i now it can be a giant pain in the ass to find oul leaks.i once worked on a potato digger and windrower for three days each to fix the leaks.thing had like 30 hoses on it and a couple valce blocks but it was so dirty and slippery with oil i had to work slow and careful at the same time as get the machines ready for harvest.

Warren, be sure to eat well & take vitamin C (every few hours, ideally) to expedite healing of the vessels, bones & supporting tissues in your foot. (Formerly taught this at several universities.) Godspeed for your health.

I wonder if they could make a driveshaft for the skidded? If not maybe some other driveline outfit to make one?

Just measure up the cross on the drive shaft and order a spicer build kit. That short you can table balance it and it’ll be good enough
