Grant and Sergio talk about growing the game of golf. I think YT golfers have done way more for the sport for the average/new golfer than any pro tour has, or could. While watching a YT golf channel segment, whether it's Grant, Rick Shiels, Peter Finch, Bryan Bros., Good Good, etc,, I feel like I'm on the course with friends. I find it more relatable. I really like when the YT golfers have tour pros on their channels. And I like that more pros are starting YT channels. For instance, I never cared much for Bryson until I saw him on YT. No real reason to dislike him. I just found him likeable while seeing him in the more relaxed, casual, personal atmosphere of YT. Thank you to Grant and all YT golf content providers.
I actually couldn't stand Bryson for all the dumb crap he used to say, now seeing him on these channels, I'm rooting for the guy. I'm excited to see what YT golf will bring us in the coming years.
I couldn't agree more. I recently wrote a comment on "Golf Mates" about their Mizuno sponsorship and why these golf manufacturers get a better return on their money by sponsoring YT personalities who people watch several times a week in many cases. I believe that people can relate to them more easily as well. Once you get past the top 20 guys on tour, who are extremely expensive, pro sponsorships aren't very effective. Your tour pro has to be playing well enough to get to the weekend and then get enough TV exposure to make it a decent return on investment. Even then, all you really get is a pro wearing your logo on their hat, shirt, or bag. They're probably not even playing a version of the clubs that are available to the public. TH-cam golfers are the best thing to come along for manufacturers in a long time. Probably since televised gof became a thing.
I love the content, but quite frankly this whole growing the game is having disasterous effects at local public courses..more and more are playing, showing up not knowing basic golf ettiquette, taking 5 1/2 hour rounds, clogging up the course, tearing up the course....until you have more facilities, and more course, I say shrink the game
Sergio is such a humble legend. This is a perfect example on opening the personalities of golfing pros and letting fans connect. Seeing Sergio across channels recently has completely changed my perspective of his brand. Looking forward to seeing more of his digital age.
@@GolfPro-ve2ep yeah that aged poorly, he just put one out with Morikawa too. Idk where I read that but pro’s on TH-cam seem to be more prevalent recently?

Former PGA member here… got out of the business from exhaustion of the industry, among other reasons. Quit golf for about 10 years. Watching Sergio win the Masters resparked my desire to play again. Been playing and very involved in the game again since that day he won. Thanks Sergio!
Grant, this was a great video. You are continuing to set the bar high for YT golf. I've been watching for well over a year now and I'm not sure I've ever seen you putt so well. Kudo's for holing so many putts. The one on 18 would not have meant so much had you not been so solid on the greens all day. I can't say enough about touring professionals like Sergio Garcia who will play head to head matches against YT golfers. He's got nothing to prove. He's a Hall-Of-Famer for all of those Ryder Cups we enjoyed to being a Masters Champion. Getting to see these guys inside the ropes is fairly unique in professional sports. It is just another way that golf is such a great game. Professionals and YT golfers are doing so much to get people into a game that they will likely love and hopefully play for a lifetime. Thanks to everyone involved here. It take a lot of work by a whole team of people so thanks again to you all who work behind the camera's and in the editing of these for us.
Grant has to be considered one of the best TH-cam golfers out there. Kid just hits it so pure and love how he’s very humble as well. Sergio let everyone in to his personality and was an absolute joy to watch.
The best part of watching pro golfers on channels like this is you get to hear their thought process before a shot. I watched Sergio on Rick Shiels channel and now here. Seems like a great guy with a good personality. You tube golf has really brought the elite players to the masses. Well done Grant. Thanks for the videos!
Sergio still has it, that’s for sure. I’m glad to see the LIV guys really embracing TH-cam. No matter what happens between the tours, TH-cam is going to continue to be a growth avenue for golf.
They can do this because they are not under the Tours thumb anymore. On PGA they would never let the players do something like this. That is why Phil left the PGA and went to LIV. The players didn't have the rights to themselves.
Guest like these are why I love Grants Channel. He's the TH-cam golf ambassador, and the reason people like Sergio are so willing to come on his channel!! I want to see Grant play Charlie Woods.
Good on ya, Grant, for having Sergio on. A great personality in the golf world and a gravely misunderstood one. Such a light hearted, easy going dude. Thanks for bringing that to light.
I remember meeting Sergio at The Open at Royal Lytham St Annes in 1996 ... we were 17 and it was Sergios first ever major championship. My friend from the local club played in the junior internationals at the time and knew Sergio from a pervious match with him so introduced us. Vividly remember being surprised at the size of the divots he took - unreal! It's good to see he's had such an illustrious career since then - shame my own golf game didn't go the same way :-)
NGL, I didn’t care for Sergio in the past but have done a 180° after watching and listening to him on several TH-cam channels. A nice guy who understands how to help grow the game. Hi Grant, I love the channel and your golf content! Today I especially enjoyed you playing Sergio. My best memory of Sergio was many years ago when he was a young guy and I watched him warm up for the Colonial in Fort Worth. We had just watched Vijay Singh warm up on the range and he was very meticulous in taking divots the entire length of each club until he had taken club length divots for each club in his bag. Not Sergio...LOL, he walks out on the range, takes out his driver, grips it and rips it several times and then says to his Caddie, "I'm good, let's go!". What a stud in his 20's. I have always remembered that about him and his style of golf.
Great to see Sergio play. I play his home course in Castellon often, for the last 35yrs. His dad still prowls the range… One of my top 5 in the world. ❤

You do a great job in handling the pro golfer while trying to keep your game at a competitive level....I think you surprised Sergio with your game! Great episode ....
Just came off a two month slump while healing from shoulder injury, and then two weeks ago played at mattaponi here in VA shot (gorgeous course) and shot 18 over on front nine! It was the next morning after two inches of rain. When I went around the turn I was thinking "let's just hit the ball and not worry where it goes. Needless to say shot 5 over and the back while missing a 3 footer for par on a tough par 3. That propelled me into next round and shot 9 over which is right where I was pre injury....long story done.....keep swinging and you'll bounce back for sure!!!!!
This episode was amazing. I love seeing these sides of pros. These type of videos make you love the player so much more. Thank you Grant for this opportunity to watch these videos!
What Grant does when it comes to packaging the content is up there in line with Garret GM Golf. That is a huge complement as far as I see it. Grant and GM Golf are the best out there. What I see different is two things. The way the attract and have a great, beautiful conversations with the really great golfers out there, as well as up and coming interesting young ones. Second, the filming and cutting of the content is just absolutely perfect. What you are doing Grant is really hard (art)work, and it shows. I have been following since before Good Good came to life and I am a huge fan. Please continue evolve the best golf content out there.
These videos are so much fun. I don't think we really get to see a golfer's personality until these types of videos are produced. Sergio is a genuinely nice guy. Fun to watch.
Grant is def help changing the landscape of youtube golf. Bringing in pros and athletes as eell as up coming young kids with real stroke play/ match play golf. Not gimmicky or anything either. Love it.
I began playing golf literally four weeks ago. I’m 24 and had never really even picked up a club before. I am brand new 😂. I’ve played four times though! This has become my favorite golf channel
@@Runecraftin I have a few friends who have played for years and years, and they invited me to join a month ago. I was very fortunate, because I have a buddy who got a new set of clubs, so he gave me his old set. So I didn’t have to buy clubs. So that’s a MASSIVE advantage I had😂. But I started watching the TH-cam channel Meandmygolf . It’s pretty good for beginners it seems. They have a lot of basic stuff. That’s my channel to watch to learn. Grant’s is my channel to watch to be entertained and actually watch golf, haha. But I practice in my yard all the time. Ordered one of those nets you can hit balls into at home

In terms of how I really got into it? I watch Me and My Golf TH-cam channel. Pretty good for beginners I think. Just find any videos I can that seem helpful. I go outside in my yard and just practice the swing. Then I got one of those nets you can get on Amazon that you can hit golf ball in to

These type of videos are by far the best. I don’t watch the gimmicky videos. These formats are what people want to see, because it is the format that they would want to play if they had a chance to play a pro. Also, the cart time conversation with the pro is priceless. Your videos with pros are by far your best work. Keep them coming! (BTW, I consider your video’s with the Bryan Bros in this genre. The making the cut video was stellar)

I'm sixteen-year-old boy from Indiana and I'm trying to make the PGA Tour, so these types of vids; you talking with Sergio, watching him play and hit incredible golf shots, inspire me a lot to keep practicing and following my dream. Ty Grant! (Btw I would like the Sergio's signed ball if you haven't given it away yet ;)
These vlogs are so important to someone like me. I was in an accident and damaged my spine which brought my playing days to a sudden halt. Hearing the banter on these rounds makes me feel like I'm still involved in golf.
It’s really nice to see the YT golfers playing against the pros in these type of matches, but it’s equally enjoyable to see the pros out just enjoying the game, yucking it up having fun. Not under the grind that they are in tournament mode. Sergio was great!
Great video, learned more about Sergio in one youtube round then years of pro golf tournaments. Love to see these guys showing their personal side. Congrats on joining youtube Sergio.

Really enjoyed this episode. Not a fan of LIV, but Grant has done a remarkable job (intentional or not) of endearing these LIV pros to those like me, who have been a bit judgemental toward them. Not much opportunity to get a sense of their personalities on video during a tournament. As another commenter has said, these YT matches with Grant have made them so relatable. No wonder many pros are starting to have their own channels. Well done Grant...and congrats on the win!

Grant, you truly have a gift when it comes to not only Golf, but also providing great entertainment for the world. Congrats on all your success you deserve it.
Sergio - one of my all time favorites. Appreciate the exuberance...toned down slightly from his younger days, but still there. His love for the game is evident.
Really enjoyed this match. Sergio is as advertised. He walked in the building I work in about two years ago and was nothing but down to earth. We took pictures with him and he signed a golf glove for my son.
Grant, I am 64 years old and I can remember watching you when I was 13 years old. What I thrill to play with you now! Anyway, I said something similar to Lanny Wadkins once at a Charity golf tournament. He had several attractive young ladies hanging out with him. He wasn't thrilled I said that. Made him look and feel old.
That was a brilliant match. Great work getting the dub at the end there, Grant. You’ve had some tough finishes from leading positions in the past so your mental game is clearly coming on!
Grant, lets get Fred Couples out!! I grew up loving his smooth swing, later learning that he was swinging well over 105mph and out of my reach. His was a swing i thought i could replicate but i definitely cannot swing it that quick.

Already watching more golf on TH-cam than tv. Great content guys.
Shots fired at Rick!😅😂
Grant is def help changing the landscape of youtube golf. Bringing in pros and athletes as eell as up coming young kids with real stroke play/ match play golf. Not gimmicky or anything either. Love it.
Grant, your overall enthusiasm is what keeps me coming back to the channel! Entertaining to watch
I began playing golf literally four weeks ago. I’m 24 and had never really even picked up a club before. I am brand new 😂. I’ve played four times though! This has become my favorite golf channel
How did you get started? My wife and I want to start learning as well but don't know where to start
@@Runecraftin go to your local professional to get some lessons, they will start you on fundamentals and drills to practice
@@Runecraftin I could have swore I replied to this earlier. I must not have finished.
I have a few friends that have played for years, and they asked me if I wanted to play a month ago. I’ve always been interested. But I was very very fortunate because one of those friends got new golf clubs so he gave me his old one! So I definitely lucked out there big time.
In terms of how I really got into it? I watch Me and My Golf TH-cam channel. Pretty good for beginners I think. Just find any videos I can that seem helpful. I go outside in my yard and just practice the swing. Then I got one of those nets you can get on Amazon that you can hit golf ball in to
TH-cam changing the golf world. Bryson showing pros there is more money and opportunities out there outside of tournament play. Love to see it!
Such a fun round to watch! Glad to see quality play by both of you!
you didn't even finish the video 😂😂
@@alirahim9162 easy to jump from shot to shot
One of your best Grant. Sergio was a perfect guest and truly seemed to enjoy his round with you. Thanks for bringing us such great content...
Sergio is a class act. Grant your buggy interaction has improved so much. I could just watch the interview elements of the episode which I don’t think I could any other channel. Keep up the great work. 👍
Grant I think your channel is so easy to watch, I'm a 62 year old Australian had to give up golf due to my health but you inspired me to try to get back to the golf,2 heart attacks later .thank you young man
Grant is changing the TH-cam golf landscape in such a special way. Here's to you Grant!🍻
How ?
oh the cringe 😬
please enlighten me,how?doing the exact same thing TH-cam golfers been doing for several years now?
"changing TH-cam "😂ffs
These type of videos are by far the best. I don’t watch the gimmicky videos. These formats are what people want to see, because it is the format that they would want to play if they had a chance to play a pro. Also, the cart time conversation with the pro is priceless. Your videos with pros are by far your best work. Keep them coming! (BTW, I consider your video’s with the Bryan Bros in this genre. The making the cut video was stellar)
Sergio was class and a pleasure to watch! Grant keep up the great content. I got to this one late. Watched all the others and it’s awesome to see the people and courses you have been playing.
What a solid match! Sergio is an absolute stud! Seems so down to earth. I am beyond addicted to this channel Grant! I love the perspective you have been providing us to see these elite athletes in their natural states while still competing! Thank you for these videos! Sergio is such a stud!
Just love when the Pros give their time and show a fun side of them..Golf truly is beautiful!!!!
Sergio is a cool dude. Great match and video.
Grant, you are one of the top golf creators on this platform. The guests you have on, and the solid golf that is played makes for such good videos. Keep it up
Great match...Grant was super solid all day...his dad gives good putting lessons. Sergio was close and played well...maybe only give Grant 4 shots next time..eh? Barton Springs Canyon is a challenging course...:)
Sergio has such charisma and hatural dialog with the camera. Such a pleasure to watch this pair. Great work guys, keep bringing this premium content!
I like how sky is getting more talkative as the channel grows. It’s cool to hear the little tid bits after the shots. Grants wife does a good job of that too. I think it adds to the overall content
I did the standard bearer at the Phoenix open like 15 years back fro Sergios group, he was so nice, made sure to talk to us the entire round, he was engaging and fun. Def been a Fan ever since. Would love to play golf with him
Great video. I was just there at Barton Creek with some friends and played Canyons twice. It’s a great course. Of course I shot an 87 not close to even par. Lots of fun to see you and Sergio play the course so well.
Wow. I watched that start to end and felt engaged the whole time. Great video… what a joy to see both your personalities here.
best golf video I’ve seen all year Grant! Sergio is a legend and you both seem to get on so well. Half way through, looking forward to watching the rest! I’d love to watch more of you and Sergio playing rounds like this 👌
Grant video was epic all I can say is the energy from Sergio was out of this world how he explained evey shot of wat could happen if didnt hit it right was fantastic but how humble he is when someone hits good shot really enjoyed him on ur channel and can't wait to watch Sergios channel ❤ 🏌️♂️ ⛳️
Bro!!!! The way you’re piping out this content keeps me so freaking entertained!! Thank you for being so swift with it and feel free to come to The Wilderness golf course in Lake Jackson Texas and school me on a game…
Well done Grant...and congrats on the win!
this is the most entertaining vid I seen in quite awhle. do more of these
This was really such an amazing video! I think it's one of the best YT golf videos I have seen this year! Grant and Sergio played really solid golf. Amazing content. Congrats to Grant for keeping his nerves and winning the match!
Absolutely love following Grant and these golf videos. Keep it up!
49:30 Awesome video my man. One of my favorite players. Really appreciate it.
Great video. Good to see these top pros playing for fun. Easy to think of them as machines when they play in the pro tournaments. Here, they can show their human sides! Grateful to Grant for giving us a perspective that was missing previously.
Grant, you truly have a gift when it comes to not only Golf, but also providing great entertainment for the world. Congrats on all your success you deserve it.
One of your best vids. Thx both of you. Love seeing these pros. The personalities make it special.
Sergio - one of my all time favorites. Appreciate the exuberance...toned down slightly from his younger days, but still there. His love for the game is evident.
Such great content. So down to Earth. And a fantastic round to boot. So happy to see you having fun, Grant. Cheers!
It's been a real pleasure to listen to both of you thank you so much
Fun to watch you guys Grant. Great job!
Great content, as always Grant. Loving the small talk with Sergio, great stuff!
Really enjoyed this match. Sergio is as advertised. He walked in the building I work in about two years ago and was nothing but down to earth. We took pictures with him and he signed a golf glove for my son.
Grant love that you have Sergio on the channel he’s my favorite player and the one that got me into loving golf Sergio is the man, and what a nice guy
Always great seeing genuine smiles and enjoying the game
Sergio & Grant both have an infectious love of the game - a great watch, some ridiculously good shots - well played guys 👏
Great content Grant! Love the vibes between you guys!
Great match and content with Sergio! Great, quality content! Thanks, Grant!
I love to see the pros on here and how they get to open up. They get a 1-2 min interview and you don’t know much about them. Love to see these.
Sergio is one of my all time favorite guys
Love how honest he is
What an amazing match and the chemistry between you two was awesome!
This was so much fun to watch! Well done!
Sergio is an absolute gem. Cannot wait for his TH-cam channel. Man is hilarious.
Guys, very entertaining!! You guys mesh well together to make great content. Congratulations Grant!!!
Love watching you guys play, it really motivates me ❤
Awesome match!!! Way to go, Grant! Looking forward to Sergio's channel, too!
Best golf video of the year. Keep of the great work Grant!
Pete Finch 18 holes matchplay with Westy yesterday then this today. No wonder we are all watching TH-cam golf. Brilliant content 👏
Grant, lets get Fred Couples out!! I grew up loving his smooth swing, later learning that he was swinging well over 105mph and out of my reach. His was a swing i thought i could replicate but i definitely cannot swing it that quick.
Love the content, I’m new to golf and love watching how the game is played and the decisions you both make in certain positions!
That was fantastic! Great that Sergio joined the channel. Great playing Grant
Fantastic to watch, very entertaining, love it.
sergio is good with the camera with all the details and data.. love it! ! !
What a legend. Such a genuine guy, I've been a fan since the 90s!
Thoroughly enjoyed the video. Thanks
