This template is very easy to do. Because I will have so many to do in a short amount of time for my daughter's wedding, I decided to make a cut line for the slit so that my cricut cuts it for me. It removes one step in the process. It is working well.
Omg they are beautiful!!!! I've been trying to find a good tutorial to help me make these for my grand daughters room! Thank you! And the middle is just gorgeous!!!
These are gorgeous! I love what you did with curling the tips different directions. It gives it a beautiful contour and dimension. I am going to give these a try tonight. Thank you!
these are beautiful! im a wedding planner and have been looking for ways to make gorgeous back drops for my booths at events.. this will make an appearance for sure!! thanks for the share
Hi Judy. Thanks for getting back to me. Here's another tidbit.. Since you're using white paper, if you could use a contrasting color on your table, it would be a lot easier to see what was happening. I'm a tool designer and I've had to make "Power Point Presentations", and that is one thing I learned by doing. If your boss can see what you're showing, its easier to get the tool accepted and made for the entire rail system to use.
Hi Lee, yes! I had that comment earlier on when making videos so now I choose a colored paper rather than something light (if i can avoid it) in my videos. Learning how to make videos to benefit everyone has been something I am continually trying to improve so thank you so much for that!! I am looking to get some sort of textured pattern to use underneath so that they can be seen easily despite the color
OMG!!! I’ve been struggling to find a detailed tutorial until I found yours. THANK YOU!!! I’ll be using your beautiful design to do my daughters 18th birthday candy bar backdrop in November.
Great job explaining and demonstrating!! Only one question .. the center of the center flower had a break in the video so wondering how big that piece of paper was. Thanks!!
Hidy. You made wonderful video! If you cut a piece of 3" schedule 20 PVC 5" long...then cut a V out of the edge of one end...you can put the other end on the table-top, having the V up. Then lay your glue gun thru the V. It saves lots of time & your glue gun doesn't fall over. Fold a piece of wax paper into a square (4 layers thick) & rubber band it to the table end of the PVC. It makes it easy to clean up drips. If you have lots of drips, you can wrap a piece of wax paper around a new glue stick and tape it really good and stiff, with masking tape. Then melt all your glue scraps and drizzel them into your mold.. leave alone for a couple of hours & shove out with a pencil...sometimes you have to unroll and peel the wax paper off...depends on what type heat glue you use. This is only if you drip a whole lot. You can re-use what dropped off. Thanks for making your video. I loved it!
Wow, thanks so much Lee! I have been thinking of getting a silicone mat for my glue gun but I hate all the mess that it leaves so I have just used scraps to catch the drip but that's a very good idea! Judy
it was so hard for me to distinguish the white leaves on top of the white table it would be more helpful if it was the red on the white or some another color but thank you very much the flowers are so beautiful!!
I also love making flowers, made of ribbon and paper. How do you arrange them on your flower wall? Mine ,I make a frame of flowers. Hope to see your work so i can have another idea.
I know this video is a few years old but, I purchased around 5 flower templates from you a while ago. I have a Cricut and I am curious as to what other size is the center? The larger one is a 6x12, is the smaller one a 3x12? Thank you!
Thank you for sharing your tips, such as how you curl the smaller petals both ways. I've been making a lot of flowers, and yours are beautiful. Do you use two-sided colored paper?
Thank you for sharing. But i really wish you've used a more bright colored paper in your tutorial because your table is already white and you used a similar shade for the papers, and so i find it quite hard to see better.

Hi Suzanne, I don't think I have a glue stand, the glue gun itself has a rest

Thank you for sharing. But i really wish you've used a more bright colored paper in your tutorial because your table is already white and you used a similar shade for the papers, and so i find it quite hard to see better.
Hi Noemi! Thanks - in my newer videos I use some sort of backing to make sure the colors stand out.
