HI Lia when I was a student my mother showed me how to make crepe flowers. We used to make wreaths for funerals flowers were expensive here in Cyprus. Unfortunately I haven't any fotos. After some years flowers became cheaper and we stoped making them. You are very talented.your film reminded me those days!!! Thank you. Excelent job! Greetings from Cyprus.
When my grandma was younger (now she passed away) she used to make a lot of paper flowers for house decorating. This remind me her, I personally have done little but I loved.
My grandmother in the late 50s had a friend who taught us kids how to make crepe paper flowers. It was very cool. I am inspired by your video to take this hobby up again.
This is great. I have just started doing this, (I have made a dozen black parrot tulips so far, and have been very pleased with them) and now I'm hooked. So learning all about the paper has answered lots of questions. I last made crepe paper roses about 60 years ago. It's taken me a while to get back, but here I am at last!
So happy you are here! I absolutely LOVE making crepe paper flowers and sharing how to make them. If you haven't yet, please visit our site liagriffith.com! We have so many paper flower tutorials ❤️
I just started making coffee filter flowers and they turned out great. I’m just discovering crepe flowers. I think it’s pretty amazing that you have now influenced the actual crepe paper industry just through making paper flowers. 🌸 🌺
I am now retired, and BORED!!! LOL The world of paper flowers has opened a new door for me. I am enjoying Lia's videos SO MUCH, I wish I could tell her so. I am hanging on to every word she tells about creating these gorgeous flowers!

I just found your channel. Have your book too. Didn't make the connection until you held up the book. Anyway, happy to have found you. Looking forward to making crepe flowers again. My grandmother showed me in the late 1960s. I hope mine are half as lovely as hers were.
Amazing! Thank you for all information. I have used all kind of crepe paper including Italian and Chinese brand, but I found the 160 gr of Grifttin is the best quality I need .
When I first made crepe paper flowers as a teenager, I actually used very old confetti streamers. The faded colors on some of the streamers worked to my advantage!
Good question! No, we don't usually use fixative. But, some of our member like to use it over PanPastel or to preserve the look of their flowers with Matte UV resistant fixative.
Hi M even in the same paper flower business. People appreciate my work. But this knowledge will sure help me grow more polished Thank a ton for sharing this video
