- this is one of the most detailed rides on this line you will be able to see. this line is very important to the City of Philadelphia and the surrounding neighborhoods. the consist in this video is six AdTranz M-4s, with 1202 leading. all stations identified and announced as how they would be on other trains. this one didn't have working announcements. points of interest also identified as well as a few historic landmarks.

22nd St. is about where the original tunnel turned Northwestward.
16:00 The Gallery opened in the 70’s as The Gallery is was closed in the 2010’s for renovation & in general rebuild. It opened sometime in COVID as the Fashion District
Edit: The original name was the Gallery renamed to ‘The Gallery at Market East’ later on. The Fasion District opened in 2019 after The Gallery’s closure in the early-mid 2010’s on the same site
thank you for the info.!!!
The electronic whistles bloody suck.
I dearly wish SEPTA had fitted Wabtec AA-2 horns as on Silverliner II and BSS Kawasaki rolling stock.
23:43 Rocky!!! (Btw Mickey’s gym is somewhere nearby)
Edit: Mickey’s Gym is directly on the left at 23:48 the corner building
Back in the Ommind Jooy days, 40th - 34th was governed by grade-timed signals. The trains seemed only able to make 25 MPH.
Video seems to be running a tad faster than normal.
filmed in wide angle.
