I like to use correct road positioning, staying left for right hand turns and right for left hand turns. Gives better line-of-sight and means you're not leaning into traffic/bushes/poles etc. I also move away from oncoming vehicles, and avoid crossing yellow centrelines (mostly;)

I have a '06 750 Kat and it is a fast ride. You can drive chill and easy at low revs but at high revs or in the twisties it can leave CBRs and similar pure sportbikes behind quite easily. It is a great bike and at ridiculous prices in the used market.
how Doe's your katana do keeping up with the Suzuki gsxr and the Honda CBR because I had a Suzuki katana gsx600f and my brother had a Suzuki gsxr750 a friend had a Honda CBR600 and another friend had a Kawasaki zx6 and I could keep up with them just fine no problem I like how the Suzuki katana fits in with the super sports bikes the katana and a Suzuki gsxr both similar style bikes and I rode my brothers Suzuki gsxr750 before I had my bike and riding a gsxr and my katana both felt similar other then a Suzuki gsxr is a little lighter weight and a bit more power but it don't really matter it is really the experience in the riders one the bikes because I have beat a Suzuki gsxr750 a Kawasaki zx6 and a Honda CBR600 my cousin has a Kawasaki zx14r and another friend has a Suzuki gsxr1000 keeping up with them two was a different story but my brothers Suzuki gsxr750 the Kawasaki zx6 and the Honda CBR600 couldn't keep up with the zx14r and the Suzuki gsxr1000 neither when they would hammer down and haul ass and then I went to Tennessee for a while my cousin in Tennessee has a Kawasaki ninja 250 and a friend he worked with has a Honda grom and they couldn't keep up with my Suzuki katana gsx600f so I got wrote the numbers on the goose neck down and I went to the secretary of state and I got a moped sticker for my Baja warrior 200cc trail bike converted to a belt drive and made it twice as fast and I rode it when I rode with my cousin on his ninja 250 and the Honda grom I could run 70/75 mph but that is just fine when riding with a ninja 250 and the Honda grom but I always caught my self still trying to race the bigger bikes because I was so used to my Suzuki katana gsx600f lol
