Compared to the 20 mil+ homes with all the gadgets and practically useless spaces, this is a beautiful rustic/modern home worth the budget.
Seems lonely to me. The emptiness of 106 acres could literally creep you out within a year. Seems like horror flick. Where a serial killer chases you in the emptiness of 106 acres. Even the ranch is seriously underdeveloped with only 80 trees in a mammoth 106 acres.

@@kevin.kleinhandel6169 It's mentioned in the video that if you have your own private helicopter, it cuts the commute drastically. The back empty lot area can be used as a landing pad.

Karan N Rao His was a little bit too ‘ranchy’ for me, but it was in a beautiful setting. I think I love this one because it’s not too big and is set up on a hill with a beautiful view of the ocean.

It actually looks great for living.but considering it's in cali a potential buyer would actually be worried about the wildfires.its frequently happening each year and such a place can be a deadly grave considering the dryness of the landscape and potential wildfires.
Let's be honest. The reason I wouldn't buy it isn't because of wildfires. Its because the house is listed at $14,000,000
I was just stating that it could be potentially hazardous for anyone buying real estate in such a risky landscape.After the recent events occurring in US i am actually glad i am not living in USA.Its pure chaos.

Love this house.. so rustic but also modern
This is by far the most livable property I've seen on this channel and yet it's priced a lot lower than most of them. Only drawback's the extremely high wildfire risk and those oaks right up against the house don't help at all.
The mix between Modern and organic surroundings is kind of like a yin and yang ☯️ They compliment each other when in the right context. Love this 👌

The price has a lot to do with how much acreage you get. Ppl forget that even though it isn't Napa/Sonoma/Lodi this is still wine country. IMO SB county is going to become the most expensive in the country over the next couple decades. People are realizing that it is 10x nicer than LA and only a quick car/plane ride away
It’s almost 2 hours on a good day. Unfortunately people from LA are coming down to Orange County.

This is actually perfect, I love the view, the design and the solitude of this place, for the person who can afford this property, they most likely aren't bothered by the busy city life or a 9 to 5 work schedule, so they can spend weeks in the place and only come out when they need groceries done.
This is the first house I have seen on this channel that I didn't think was totally absurd
He kept saying “coastal property” with ocean views but it was really difficult to even see the ocean. I wouldn’t necessarily call that a coastal property.
1:41 you can very clearly see the ocean from this view and im sure many more places on the property. Coastal isn’t always the same as beach front and this property is alot more “coastal” than a majority of the homes in california.

you can insure anything as long as you pay for it - but yes, likely more than 100k a year for this house just in insurance

Beautiful home. Understated decor (nothing too flashy that screams wealth). The exterior seems very harmonious with the landscape rather than a mega-mansion dropped onto the property. And with all that acreage and the beautiful view, it does seem worth the money.
At first, I had no clue how this ranch house could possibly be $14mil... then I saw the pool, the yurts, and orchard, and I was like oh yea okay jk lol.

i think i know the person who did the landscaping, but i really wish he had used more cal natives. instead of those knifofias and flaxes, etc, the right manzanitas, buckwheats, sages, and ceanothus would be gorgeous and long-lasting.

So technically the house is worth $435,000 and the orchard and the rest of the land is $13,465,000. To be honest, this makes actual sense not trying to be funny but hey the actual worth is in the lemons and oranges. I dig this one. I hope they do an update on whomever buys it.
