- I transcribed this for violin and piano for a friend of mine recently, and I felt like it sounded really nice when played with brass! Hope you enjoy it!

@@kabukibear inspired me to play guitar classically. before I was just strumming chords and playing solos, but never realized the true potential of guitar when it came to playing arrangements. Out of curiosity, what is the creator you wanted to be? You trying to be Sam griffin or something? You were one of the few people as far as I could tell on youtube that played raw playing with no editing it together to sound good.

Hey Kabuki! You probably don't remember me, but I used to roll on Gametabs with you guys for a while. Idk if you've seen it already, someone is reposting all the lonlonjp videos here on TH-cam. Seeing that made me wanna revive the good old days from 10 years ago when guys like you and lonlonjp were our main source for good arrangements 😁 I already provided all the lonlonjp tabs to this guy (he's called lonlonjp Reupload) so now he posts all the old videos + tabs. Anyway, here's the point. Since they took down lonlonjp I kept on practicing guitar wanting to continue his legacy someday. But when I was finally able to make good arrangements like him, I realised that no one on TH-cam cares anymore. But now that lonlonjp is back, I see in the comments that there are still people who appreciate stuff like this. I've got a new guitar now, about 15 great arrangements that nobody tried out yet (I can even send them to you if want to take a look) and 20 covers just waiting to be recorded and posted. I wanted to ask you if you want to try with me to bring the good old days back. I know you're probably rusty and busy, it's the same here. But damn, I really want to get back to doing what I love, and I'm sure it's the same with you. Please let me know if you're interested. I'm not talking about making money or getting subscribers, I'm talking about having fun with practicing, posting and inspiring other people. You know, just like 10 years ago when we were probably both just chilling at our parents house and having the best time of our lives without even realising it 😉
Hey are you still looking for someone to record your arrangements? I'm one of those people who still care for vg/classical guitar arrangements. I've been a big fan of kabukibear ever since I started playing guitar. I was pretty late to the game starting at 2015, but I love the community gametabs/youtube had. It seems things were simpler back then, and I always wondered if it'd be possible to bring the life back into that same community. I'm no kabukibear, but I'm interested in recording some guitar so let me know if I can help.

Kabuki I think this version of the song might just replace amazing grace in being used in remembrance of those who have left us.
Kabuki do you have perfect pitch?
No, I don't. I wish I did! I have definitely practiced and tried to develop my ear, so I have pretty good relative pitch. Once I can lock onto a note I can general just "feel," where the other pitches are. It took a lot of work though. I had a friend who could tell you the pitch of a book hitting the ground! I was always so jealous XD
@kabukibear Yeah dude ive heard a lot of theories that perfect pitch can only be developed when you are very young. Thus its super rare.
