    Been nomading in Rawai for 3 months now and it’s been the best decision ever! What i love most is the digital nomad community. Imo, DNs in Phuket are more business people than influencers/content creators compared to Bali. They’re also very open, friendly and supportive! I’ve got many business opportunities from people in the community as well. Best place for entrepreneurial spirits to networking!

    Rawai is such a great spot for digital nomads in Phuket! 🌞 The perfect blend of beach vibes and work-friendly cafés makes it a fantastic base! 🏝💻

    So I am curious , why do you need a co-working space? Can you not just work in the place your staying ? Don't they have rooms that have wifi in them?

  • @Thomas-kw9je

    I did Vietnam HCMC for $400 a month to see how low I could get it for, $400 was possible so 1k in any of these places is fine

    What about the age of people? I’m in my mid 30s and most people in Canggu are in their 20s. Too many youngsters partying here haha. I’m coming to Thailand & researching where to stay. How’s the wifi?

    • @livinthatlife
      @livinthatlife  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thailand has some of the best and fastest Wifi in the world!
      Also there are digital nomads here literally all ages!
      Welcome to Thailand!!

    Great video man! Was in Phuket on a short solo trip last month and realised Thailand is perfect for remote work. I'm a Music Producer, i plan to fly out again last week of this November month for a 30 day 'workation' to make beats and chill, i hear Chiang Mai is apt for this with many co-working spaces , how would you compare the two and what'd you recommend between Rawai and Chiang Mai?

    • @livinthatlife
      @livinthatlife  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Ahh yeee thats hype! Well it rlly depends, up north mountains or south by the beach! Both are amazing, but avoid chiang mai january-april as its burning season and it's f*cked up there.

    I was thinking about visiting Rawai, but Canggu is a vegan heaven, and there are barely any vegan places in Rawai. Your comparison might be a bit misleading in this respect.

    I flew from Malaysia to Singapore to Bangkok (with my Malay cat) without getting the death shot. Just 14 days in a high class concentration camp (with my Malay cat). Only had to wrestle a couple of medical fascists to the ground to stop them hitting the brain barrier with the dubious PCR test. Working in a school on a nice wage now. So worth it but very sad watching my colleagues line up for the death shot. As a former DN, I always have options. Thank God.

    Not sure why you are recommending it as a nomad location, there are no long stay visa options (unless you lie about going to school).
    Most won't qualify for the future nomad visa as it will have minimum income, business registration, degree qualified requirements

    • @Paul-yk7ds
      @Paul-yk7ds 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      "Nomad" is supposed to mean that you move from place to place, so many nomads would be fine just coming for a couple months on a tourist visa or visa exemption, then leaving to check out another place, and maybe coming back again later. Also, there are language schools in Phuket, so you could legitimately do the education visa if you wanted.

    • @livinthatlife
      @livinthatlife  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yup. There are several 12mo+ visa options , search around. Or do visa runs every 90 days .. I’ve done tat for 5 years and found a good excuse to check out opther spots in Asia

    • @livinthatlife
      @livinthatlife  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Muay Thai visa, Learn Thai visa, volunteer visa are 3 that I know of.
      Or pay $15k for Elite Visa gets u 5 years. I’ll do that next
