I will tell you my experience. Those belts look uncomfortable yes, but your hernia belt only started working for me when i added extra pads within the pocket. I wore your belt for more than a year and it wasn't until i added the extra pads and also tightened the belt up quite a bit that i saw amazing results with the hernia going away. I tried your online course and did all the exercises according to the timetable like a soldier for atleast 9 months but there was no improvement until i added those pads and tightened the belt up. This was uncomfortable many times but not too bad during the day while doing physical work with lots of movement. Several months later the hernia got so good that i hardly ever saw it even when taking the belt off to take a shower etc. I now continue to wear the belt but with less padding and less pressure. One thing to note was that when my hernia was protruding low down i put emphasis on tightening the strap which goes around under the bum, which provided more support from underneath the hernia, then as the hernia got better i could focus the pressure more evenly with both straps. Your hernia belt when i learnt to use it well, has been absolutely brilliant for me, i dont know what i would have done without it to be honest. BTW, the abb vaccum exercise didn't work for me, in the end i felt it might have actually been bad for my hernia. Just wanted to share my experiences here in the hope that it helps someone else. Thanks George!
It's so interesting to me how everyone's situation with these hernias is so different! I've seen people do some hilarious stuff with the extra thick pads to get it just right for their situation. It's funny because when I first designed the belt for myself, it didn't even have a pad! I didn't need anything more that the pressure from the belt itself to hold mine in all the way. It wasn't until I started having other people test it out that I added the pad because most people needed a little more. Glad you were able to get it to work, and makes me extremely happy to hear that it's made such a big difference for you!
I actually did that when I first bought George's belts. Because I had first bought one of the standard versions he shows here, I thought that his alone could not be a strong enough solution without "something " to fill the "gap", much as I liked the neoprene sporty style he had created. So for months I sliced up little toy foam balls you can buy as beach toys and stuffed the halves into the pocket as added pressure against the hernia. I could not have been more wrong. Now, I have stopped that and been wearing the belts for the last six months as George produces them, and honestly, the number of days I can go without feeling my life has become enslaved to this damned thing are far more, and my episodes way less frequent. The only thing I would add to this video is LEAVE YOUR HERNIA ALONE as much as you can. If it protrudes, lay down, suck in your gut, relax, or do ANYTHING but poke and push. THAT is what irritates and makes a simple episode last a couple days.
may i know if your hernia is direct or indirect ?.............also did you buy the heavy duty version of the belt ?...........lastly, did you wear it almost all the time except when showering go going to the toilet ?

Had a hernia for many years, healed it naturally by relaxation and strengthening. It is possible, just understand most of the reason for the injury is a sudden physical change that your body (abs) aren't used to and it tears the wall. Go easy and eventually you will conquer it.
I’m 6 months in with your exercises and comfort-truss, and recently added rowing. I now wear your belt when I go up hill hiking, biking or any sports. I don’t have to wear it day to day. My hernia use to pour out of the opening every time I got out of bed. Your exercises have re-awakened the muscles. Just before I started going without the belt day to day, I felt a pulse in the hernia area and it started getting itchy. I think it was from the blood flowing to those muscles for the first time in a long time. I will continue to work on getting the hernia completely gone. From where I started, I’m more then half way there. Thanks George!
Hey George. I’ve been wearing the comfort truss for construction work since developing inguinal hernias. Continuing with construction cautiously as I have to. Have checked out your exercises and have not been so good about doing these but have found between the comfort truss & limiting the load while shoveling and some occasional exercises I have seen some retreat of the hernia. Amazing as it really shows that what you do yourself really does have a huge impact. Anyone who has not done your suggested exercises needs to just start something. Come on already. Don’t avoid. Thanks for what you have done for this issue. I’ve benefited from information you have provided & am impressed with your commitment.
Thanks so much. Glad to hear it’s helping you! This information needs to reach more people so they realize they do have choices other than waiting around doing nothing until they eventually need surgery which is what most doctors prescribe.
The first belt/ truss I bought, the pads were shaped like that, except they were soft and spongy. Because of that and how thick they were, they didn't keep my hernias in. So I replaced them with pads I made out of interlocking foam floor matts. It worked perfectly.
Since there are two types of inguinal hernias - direct and indirect, and they are anatomically located in different places, it is necessary to understand what kind of hernia a person has and how to use a particular hernia belt. For an indirect inguinal hernia, you must press on the deep ring of the inguinal canal so that the internal organs do not enter it. For a direct inguinal hernia, you must press on the inguinal triangle so that it does not protrude. Therefore, the shape of the belt inserts and their positions can and should differ depending on the type of hernia.
I bought the lightweight Comfort Truss right away and quickly realized I needed the heftier model with thicker pads, due to the shape of my body. I'm losing weight as part of the plan for healing, to be healthier in general but also to relieve pressure internally from visceral fat pushing down on the hernia from within. I suspect that as I lose body fat in the area where the belt is I won't need as much thickness in the pad, but no matter how thick, the simple flat design really works as long as I have the belt adjusted to sit right over the hernia snugly. And it is really comfortable! Thanks, George!
MAN!!! I am so happy you said this. I have been thinking this ever since I first bought one of these torture belts from the "medical industry". Mine was also so thick and used hooks and grommets to connect it, being really cumbersome to wear. Your solution is SO much better designed (I dive for hours with it almost daily) and has at the very least helped me keep my hernia from getting any worse, which I am sure that hard protruding ball you show is MEANT to do! I honestly think, especially after Covid, that they are in the business of exacerbating all disease to make money through their surgeries and chemical or biological "solutions".
The only thing I would add to this video is LEAVE YOUR HERNIA ALONE as much as you can. If it protrudes, lay down, suck in your gut, relax, or do ANYTHING but poke and push. THAT is what irritates and makes a simple episode last a couple days.
I also bought a generic hernia pad on the internet and I am also irritated with those extremely hard and oversized pads. I thought that removing them would be dangerous for me not until one day I noticed that it suddenly dropped from my belt. Several days later not having the pads, I gained more mobility, and guess what-- there's no pain at all and I can move at a better range of motion than before.
George, I have a cheap belt I got on Amazon and also a Comfort-Truss. To be honest, the cheap one is a lot easier to put on, and I wear it when I'm lifting weights (or exerting myself in any way) at home. The pad is convex, but it's soft, and it feels fine. I wear yours when I'm going out because it doesn't show like the cheap one.
Glad to hear you have a system that works for you. What makes the cheap one easier to put on? Is it a waist strap and a leg strap like the Comfort-Truss?
@@MyNaturalHerniaCure Yeah, it has leg and waist straps. I have two small hernias (one like a grape and one like a pea) so both trusses are the double style. When lying down to make sure they both go in, it's much easier to reach the velcro end of the waistband and pull it around on the cheap one. On the Comfort-Truss, reaching way around my back to pull it tight is difficult. What makes it a little bit easier is that I have a weight bench with a space between the seat and back, and can position myself on it so that the rear of the waist strap falls in that space. If I had to lie on a bed or the floor, it would be a lot harder.
@JoeS-ej4gn oh ok gotcha! The double belts are a little harder because they fasten in the back instead of on the side like the single side belt, so I always recommend fastening the waist strap in the front then spinning the belt around to put it in place once it’s fastened like how women put bras on. Not sure if that would help in your situation but thought I’d throw the idea out there. Thanks for the clarification!
@@MyNaturalHerniaCure I tried that method at first, but due to the 'stickiness' of the CT fabric, found it quite the hassle to re-insert the leg straps every time. So I leave them attached and don it by inserting my legs and pulling it on. But I'm sure the cheap version's velcro will poop out long before the CT stops working. Don't wanna sound like I'm complaining. I appreciate the work you've done on the CT and here🙂 Edit: I pull it 'up' more than 'on'. The waist is still unfastened, just to be clear.
Understood. Thanks for explaining. I think it’s important for me to understand what’s going on so I can continue to improve the design based on what I hear from people, so I appreciate the feedback. 👍
Ive had 2 inguinal hernia surgeries by the same doc first one laparoscopically and the second a few months later after that failed where he cut the area open to fix it. Ended up bleeding out from massive hematoma a week after the second one. It's back again im really thinking about suing because the doctor.
Thanks George-love your info! I gotta say though that those Amazon belts actually help keep my inguinal hernia pushed in better. Your Comfort Truss is sleeker but I had to add more padding to increase the surface area pressure needed to hold the bulge in. For long distance running I use your light weight truss & in addition one of those Amazon belts and it's almost like I can relax my low core for longer periods of time b/c the surface area tension has increased. Anyway - your content gives me a lot of hope & to persevere! Got my first full marathon coming up in 3 weeks...
Have you tried the HD version of the Comfort-Truss yet? Sounds like that one might be better for you than the Minimalist. It’s twice as thick and way more supportive. Good luck with the marathon and thanks for the kind words!
I honestly think those other belts make the hernia worse. I don't feel my hernia anymore but still wear the confort truss when doing deadlifts or squats just to be safe.
That's awesome! How long did it take for you to get to a point where you couldn't feel the hernia anymore? I agree those belts will make it worse by constantly jamming something into the weakness, and making the hole where the abdominal contents is coming through bigger and bigger over time.
I have been using a Hernia Belt for the past 12 months with no problems at all. Along with the belt, I exercise my pelvic floor muscules, thigh muscules and lower back also. I'm 72 years old and walk 2 kms every morning. I would recommend to attain a reasonable level of fitness to assist in healing an Inguinal Hernia. What works for one may not work for another, so be mindfull of that and proceed with care.
Are there any exercises or stretches that you would recommend for someone who has an inguinal hernia ? I’ve already had one open mesh repair and it popped back out , I’m really trying to avoid having another surgery and wanted to know if there are ways I could treat it naturally
I recently knew my pains were from an Inguinal hernia, and I've just bought a belt, I also am adapting the pads because they are really hard and uncomfortable, I'm glad to find your channel because I believe in natural healing, I have a question: when to wear the belt? All the time? I'm nos using it when I have to go out and work, and use an extra belt when I have to lift heavy things.(trying to avoid it as much as possible) when I get to my house I take it out to release the pressure, and as soon as I feel the hernia is coming down I lift it up, but now I will get more into your videos to start making the exercises.
Mine went away naturally after I won some battles I was going through in my life. As soon as I had no more stress in my life I woke up to realize Ive been okay all along. The stress was what was causing my hernia. Might sound crazy. I’m so glad I did not go through with surgery last year.
2:40 That is exactly the hernia belt I first bought. I think the brand was Oppo. I can only concur with your findings, namely that the pad is worse than nothing! Later I bought a different belt which has a removable pad (Velcro). At least with that one you can adjust the position of the pad. But the pad is again very firm and didn't bring much relief from the hernia (right side). I had the hernia repaired with mesh in open surgery three years ago under local anesthetic here in England. But a few weeks ago I feared it had recurred. The repair site was darned painful for days after the operation and only settled down after two weeks of recovery. I didn't know back then about icing. Anyway, I've been getting the typical burning sensation in the groin crease that is exacerbated by movement. When I lay down flat on my bed for 10 minutes the burning feeling subsides. So I have been doing a lot of research into recurring hernias. A number of people are suggesting alternative ways to approach the issue instead of surgery or repeat surgery. The last thing I want is to go through that again! I'm 78 now and can do without it. Which is how I've come to watch your video. Several things I have been doing: (a) Resting a lot. I had been doing a lot of DIY, mowing lawns, hoovering, and other physical tasks. Before, I just pushed through the pain, which of course got worse. So then I decided to stop what I was doing, lay down. and rest for 30 minutes, even an hour. I am of course long since retired so I have all the time in the world to experiment. (b) I started sucking in the stomach muscles. I saw this in another video and thought, well, it surely can't hurt to try. (c) I apply ibuprofen gel to the pubic area around the site of the incision from 3 years ago if the pain gets worse than normal. But for several days now I have been almost symptom free. Tuesdays (today) is always worse, as I do my weekly grocery shopping on Tuesdays and that means visiting 3, 4, even sometimes 5 supermarkets to get the stuff I want. This involves a lot of walking to and from the car park and around the store. (d) Icing. I have found a lot of relief from an icepack and towel held over the spot for 30 minutes at a time. Right, now I'm going to watch the rest of this video and see what suggestions you make! I do hope I can avoid surgery again.
I added a section of a soft rubber tennis ball to fit in the truss pocket of my hernia pants. It is not so,I’d rubber, it’s a thin layer and more flexible but also puts pressure on the hernia. I’m not 100% if it’s working well enough though. I would really like to try the comfort truss but it’s expensive to ship here to the UK.
I'm 2 years into my IH appearing . I've been using the Comfort Truss when I think I may do some heavy lifting . I was wearing it daily , but realized because I kneel all day at work , it was smushing the hernia and making it inflamed . Mine never got worse , and by far the biggest factor is my weight and diet . If I stay slim it's barely an issue. And I learned what foods make me bloat or cause gas and avoid them. At certain times it doesnt present at all. Through out my work day as a painter, I lay down on my back and let things settle down. Everything is all about avoiding inflamation for me . I run, lift weights and do calethstenics . If I gain weight it really pushes out so I have to stay on top of things . I'm not avoiding surgery so much as I simply can't afford to buy insurance because I'm self employed . It's around 17,000 to 20,000 a year and a huge deductable , so I am kind of stuck managing it. The truss really is comfortable, I break the "rules" and wear it over my boxer-briefs .
Had the very beginnings of an inguinal hernia forming. Started doing vacuums every day, only 10-20 reps of 10 second holds and it's gone away completely. Thanks for putting the information out there!
Great thanks for sharing. Yeah okay, so I have a really small inguinal hernia. However, the discomfort on a scale from 1 to 10 is a 2, and slight pain. Just diagnosed a couple of months ago. Started wearing the belt and it helped. But sometimes I realized it made it worse bc of what you explained. Stopped using the belt and feel better...The question is how did yours heal? just with your belt? how can I exercise now? Can you dance with an inguinal hernia? any suggestions from anyone- thank you kindly.
Please take a look at the other videos on my channel for much more info. In short, I devised a plan to fix the five commonalities that most hernia sufferers have, which are weakness in the muscles around the inguinal canal, limited mobility in the hips, poor pelvic posture, diet that causes excess gas, bloating or intestinal swelling, repressed emotions such as anger in the unconscious mind (this is a tricky one). Once I fixed all of those things holistically my hernia went away. While I was working on all of this I needed to find a way to keep the hernia from coming out at all times no matter what I was doing which is why I developed the comfort-truss. Once I did that I could do anything I wanted as long as I had the hernia belt on. Then I got to a point where I no longer needed the belt anymore.
@@MyNaturalHerniaCure Amazing Story and Channel. Can you point me to any of your videos on Hip Flexibility and how that relates? I share that same symptom near my right side inguinal hernia, and thought there has to be a connection. Thanks Brother.
Hi George! I bought your heavy duty belts and they are great. However, my hernia is the size of half a golfball and it will not stay in completely if I dont add a little lump of textile in front of the pad. Did your hernia actually stay in completely with a thin flat pad? Cheers.
Yes, mine stayed in without even having a pad in the belt. Actually, the first comfort-truss I designed and used for myself didn’t even have a pocket to put a pad in because I didn’t need it. I had very little internal pressure pushing my hernia out so it went in very easy even though it was pretty big.
Thank you for the videos. There is a lot of good information here. It looks like my comment was removed somehow, so Ill try it again. I asked if you used the ab vacuum exercise while your hernia was out or did you lay down and reduce the hernia first? And Did you have more discomfort when you did the exercise when the hernia was out? Thankyou again for all of the information.
I've switched to IWB appendix carry with a soft holster for support. It truly helps! It's easy to live with and I feel considerably less vulnerable sans the ability to move swiftly.
I replaced the hard foam pad with a folded sock and I hold it in place with a belt that I wear over it on the outside of my pants. I’m still trying various supplements and seem to be improving a little. A fresh vegetable juice only diet has helped me most because the bulge is smaller and softer.
@@MyNaturalHerniaCuregood to know , i just signed up for it , just wanted to let you know that I wanted to volunteer for the work that you are doing, i mean anything you need from my end you can let me know , i am from India , and doing all sorts of things to get my Hernia back to where it belongs, sometimes i do have a lot of ideas and content in my head that I wish you could share , once i even asked you to offer your program for free ( my bad ) so let me know if i could be of any help in any way, thank you for doing what you do :)
Ive had an inguanal herni for years Nd just recently had surgery done but for the last 6 months i bought this product the hernia truss and let me say it was the best best thing i could of used to help me work on a day to day basis. I tried so many other belts and like he said they were very uncomfortable but this product was amazing! Thank you for creating it, i no longer need since as i said jusy had surgery but i will definitely recommend it to anyone if they need support for a hernia..great product!!
The comfort truss didn't work for me. 🤷♂️ I don't see the point in holding it in, mines healing, doesn't bother me. I'm fairly certain most of us have inflamed livers, which is pushing all the guts down. Just trying to help, good luck my friends. 🤟🧙♂️🤙 P.S. cold exposure and breathing exercises are working great for me. Go gettem' healin'! Edit: Thanks for being you George, glad yours healed and is inspiring others to heal theirs without being cut up. ✌️
The hernia needs to be held in so that the muscles are not being constantly bombardee with pressure pushing them out while they strengthen. If you can find a belt that does work for you, it could be a game changer if you’re already finding some success without one. What was it about the CT that didn’t work? Was it a padding issue? Fabric too lightweight? Or something else?
@@MyNaturalHerniaCure Pads weren't thick enough- I'm skinny- 6'1" and 150lbs clothed and soaking wet 😬. Though, even after adding more flat pads, it still just caused pain after about an hour, it would slip out a little as a time and pinch. And sorry- didn't make sense to me. Holding it in is going to put even more pressure in that whole area. My experience at least. Thank you again for trying to help my friend. Edit: I'm a bad case too because I'm like 95% sure I've been fighting cancer that had spread. Inflammation everywhere and I used to have all the signs of colon cancer, but not so much anymore.. No doctors in more than 2 decades, and not starting now, especially considering they're trying to modify all our DNA. 😅 Thanks again homie.
It’s so interesting how it’s so different for everyone because I’m 6’ 150lbs, and didn’t even need a pad in mine to hold the hernia in perfectly. Usually when even using the thicker accessory pads the hernia still doesn’t stay in it’s because there is a lot of internal pressure pushing the hernia out, which I usually think about as a dietary issue, but if you’re dealing with high amounts of inflammation and possibly colon cancer, that’s probably the culprit, and why you would need so much padding to keep the hernia in. Good luck with your situation, and thanks for the response!
@@MyNaturalHerniaCure Yeap, it's always the inside/invisible with me. 🫣🤣. Won't give up though, and once I get some time and courage I'll be sharing my take on the breathing and why I think I'm healing. Be well George, you're awesome my dude. ✌️
Sup bro self diagnosed myself into believing i had a I.H. the more i read the more confirmation i received. Anyway Sunday night i found your videos and started doing the exercises. Immediately that night there was normal sensation noting extra , doing the stretches daily im on day 3 and feeling great . Thanks bro ❤
Went to a walk In yesterday and they said they don’t necessarily think I have a hernia more a strained oblique. But the slight bulge still alarms me. Love the videos btw
I've been there done that myself. Had the same thing and waited over a year to get surgery. By that time the tube going to scrotum attached itself and had to be cut loose during surgery causing surgery to be way worse and recovery from days to months . In my opinion see a doctor as soon as you notice a problem and don't put off surgery.
Yes. That's what the doctor that did my surgery told me. Inguinal means in the scrotum . I waited so long the hernia pushed a tube in my scrotum and it was there so long it attached itself and had to be cut loose. Painful recovery..Long recovery. In my opinion listening to people like this guy just makes things worse. Get the fucker fixed and be done. ASAP@@E-BikingAdventures
First of all, inguinal does need mean “in the scrotum”. It means “in the region of the groin”. Those are two very different things. Not all hernias end up in the scrotum. Especially if you are proactive in fixing the root causes of the hernia, which apparently you were not since you did nothing and waited a year to get surgery. You tell people they should just get the surgery ASAP, but have you looked up stats on post operative complications from hernia surgery? Of course not, but listening to guys like me about being proactive against the hernia makes things worse, even though I was able to get my hernia to become asymptomatic and never had to go through the trauma of surgery? That’s a ridiculous statement. Look up the stats on how many people end up with lifelong side effects from listening to what your saying, then look up stats on the side effects of trying to heal naturally. Which one has done more damage?
My personal experience . I should have got surgery right away and avoided a lot of pain and suffering. Say what you want to who you want. I don't really care. @@MyNaturalHerniaCure
Hey George from the research I’ve done I would say my inguinal hernia is indirect because it does travel into the scrotum Would your excercises possibly help for an indirect inguinal hernia ? I first noticed my hernia about 5 years ago Also I’m a singer it’s what I do full time for a living I bought your comfort truss like a few years ago and I will say I need a new one I remember I added extra padding inside the pocket of mine when I bought it a few years back Should I be wearing your belts when it’s an indirect or is there a certain one I should buy I need to start doing something about this because it’s always a worry in the back of my mind So I want to start really focusing on trying to correct it possibly without surgery but is this possible so you think with an indirect hernia traveling into the scrotum? And do you have a specific belt for an indirect ? It’s on my right side
Today I got my hernia belt from the orthopedic store, it is tailor made for me , I was hoping in this belt to help me to relief my pain- but now I am so disappointed, it is so painful😢 I had to remove it after 20 Min :(( terrible
It is not good to ignore your hernia and hope it heals itself. This could lead to a very serious condition. Surgery is your only viable option. Hernia operations are the 2nd most common surgery, and is the only way to 100% correct it. Stop listening to YT medical advice, and get in to see your doctor.
Advise for all use biotin and selenium and msm every day and eat collagen or capsules and use castor oil and don't move or do sex or cary weight till treatment your hernia isa till God treat you Good Luck
When is the last time you ordered one? We have recently uograded the design to use more robust material and velcro so that they are more durable. Did you use the Minimalist or the HD version?
Yes, the new version is way better. The old one I had to pull so tight I actually ended up with DVT and pulmonary embolism from cutting off circulation in the iliac vein! Still a great product, but I am afraid to use it anymore and going for surgery in two weeks. Sucks and I am afraid of ruining my life, but I can’t deal anymore!!
Hey George, do you have any advice/content/videos about umbilical hernias? Or just inguinal hernia? I got an umbilical one, many people appreciate you and what you do!
yea those suck I could tell right away when I first bought one it was bad. They are absolutely worthless. The main stream medical field has no credibility at all with me. I've seen time and time again what F ups they are. Which is the reason why I didn't fell comfortable getting surgery. only because of the incompetence of modern doctors. Funny thing is a godamn doctor is the only reason why I even have a hernia. it wasn't caused by anything I was doing. but the belt I wear now is great. I've been using your methods as well as others and my hernia was once the size of one golf ball (not as bad as yours was) but it is now down to a tiny little sliver. I cant wait until I don't have to were the freaking belt anymore and get my 100% freedom back its been so long. Another thing that I feel really helps that I don't see anyone talk about it is taking a block of ice to your hernia while at an incline. Or the R.I.C.E method if your familiar with that.
That’s awesome that you’re making progress with it! It is so nice when you don’t have to rely on the belt any more. Took me some time to get used to it because I felt so supported with on, then to not have that protection in place freaked me out at first. But once I gained more confidence and the hernia wasn’t popping out at all I began to never even think about it anymore.
@@MyNaturalHerniaCureI appreciate you brother it feels awesome. It feels better to have the comfort of knowing you can get better and heal fully as well. Hearing it from someone who has been down that same horrible road before too. Since your like me, very physically active and into fighting and martial arts its absolute hell. basically being an invalid for awhile. Thanks so much for all you've done and sacrificed. Your an inspiration to all of us. Also its amazing you healed it with no problems. The hernia you hand was probably the worst I have ever heard of. I've never heard of a double golf ball sized hernia before. If you can bounceback from that stronger than ever than theres nothing you cant do. I appreciate you and your work brother!
Thanks man. Hang in there and when a setback comes (and they will come), use it as fuel to get you to the next level. Try not to let it get you down too much. The setbacks are letting you know there’s still more to do, then once you work through them, step by step you will reach your goal.
Thanks for sharing your experience, glad I'm not the only one.

Had a hernia for many years, healed it naturally by relaxation and strengthening. It is possible, just understand most of the reason for the injury is a sudden physical change that your body (abs) aren't used to and it tears the wall. Go easy and eventually you will conquer it.
That’s great to hear!
Which exercises worked for you?
How big was your hernia and how long did it take?
Details please on how you healed it?
No details given .
Awesome! Nice work. Keep me updated on your progress!
Please keep us updated on your progress! So glad to hear your success!
Good to know!
Glad to hear the HD version is working well for you!
Where can I get your belt.
👍
The only thing I would add to this video is LEAVE YOUR HERNIA ALONE as much as you can. If it protrudes, lay down, suck in your gut, relax, or do ANYTHING but poke and push. THAT is what irritates and makes a simple episode last a couple days.
(Me reading this mid poke-push)
Oops
My main problem with the Comfort-Truss is that the velcro does not hold for me after a couple months of use. Get that fixed and it's a great product.
Are you using the Minimalist or Heavy Duty?
@@MyNaturalHerniaCure Was using the heavy duty, purchased 3 different times and had the same issue.
I recently added a strip of sewn on reinforced velcro to all of the HD belts so there are no more issues with the velcro wearing out prematurely.
@@MyNaturalHerniaCure can I get a promo code for that? I've ordered 3 of those belts with this issue.
Please shoot us an email at info@comfort-truss.com and we can help you out for sure. Please mention that you were talking with me on TH-cam
Haha! Happy accident of the pad falling out!
I appreciate the work you've done on the CT and here🙂
Edit: I pull it 'up' more than 'on'.
Ugh. I hear stories like this all the time, and it’s so frustrating. Sorry for your situation.
Modified my belt, you are 150% right on the money... pain is gone and comfort is 100x times better..!
Nice! 👍
This is encouraging. Wow.....totally amazing. Thank you and I'm very happy for you!
Hi! How long did it take you?
I have been using a Hernia Belt for the past 12 months with no problems at all. Along with the belt, I exercise my pelvic floor muscules, thigh muscules and lower back also. I'm 72 years old and walk 2 kms every morning. I would recommend to attain a reasonable level of fitness to assist in healing an Inguinal Hernia. What works for one may not work for another, so be mindfull of that and proceed with care.
👍
I would put the belt on as soon as I got out of bed in the morning and would take it off before I went to bed at night.
Mine went away naturally after I won some battles I was going through in my life. As soon as I had no more stress in my life I woke up to realize Ive been okay all along. The stress was what was causing my hernia. Might sound crazy. I’m so glad I did not go through with surgery last year.
First comment. I LOVE your channel ❤❤❤
Thank you!
Do you think “ red lighting “ would be good for an inguinal hernia?
I’m not sure what that is
2:40 That is exactly the hernia belt I first bought.
Thank you!!! I am ordering one ! I have four trusses and keep looking for a flat soft adjustable belt. Yours sounds perfect
Perfect!
My hernia belt is squishy. Not hard plastic like you showed. I’m not wearing it everyday…but to gym days and on long walks
Insurance is such a scam, do you have to pay more in taxes ? since bs govt got involved and have to show codes
Had the very beginnings of an inguinal hernia forming. Started doing vacuums every day, only 10-20 reps of 10 second holds and it's gone away completely. Thanks for putting the information out there!
Has anyone had a recurrence hernia? And healed it naturally?
What is a “vacuum”? I want to try this remedy
There is a video from George where he shows this vacuum technique, you can find it on his channel
Hi, so what are the safest exercices for minimally training the abs with inguinal hernia ?

Is it beneficial and sensible to wear a groin support, even if the hernia is in the beginning and not protruding outward?
Yes I would say so, to offer support to the area
so what to do to heal naturally?
Thank you for sharing your story❤

@@MyNaturalHerniaCure Thanks! 💫
Hello, my inguinal hernia is the size of a golf ball. No pain….just annoying. I’ve had it for 3 months now. Is surgery inevitable? Thank you.
Hello @MyNaturalHerniaCure, what is the difference between Heavy Duty and light weight? Which suit for me
You can see the differences between the two here: comfort-truss.com/pages/hernia-belt-comparison
A fresh vegetable juice only diet has helped me most because the bulge is smaller and softer.
i will try eat more veggies how are you these days?

That bump is for people with a BIG belly. It is very not comfortable for people who are not obese ❤🙏🏼🌟
It's definitely not comfortable at all.
Depends on how hard it is. I have one that looks like that, and it feels fine, and I'm 6ft 150 lbs.
Great info. Thanks!
No problem!
The comfort truss didn't work for me. 🤷♂️ I don't see the point in holding it in, mines healing, doesn't bother me. I'm fairly certain most of us have inflamed livers, which is pushing all the guts down. Just trying to help, good luck my friends. 🤟🧙♂️🤙
P.S. cold exposure and breathing exercises are working great for me.

Went to a walk In yesterday and they said they don’t necessarily think I have a hernia more a strained oblique. But the slight bulge still alarms me. Love the videos btw
Thank you. Seems weird that a strained oblique would cause a bulge, but I’m not a doctor so not really sure
I have an inguinal hernia, where do i go from here? I live in uk and nhs waiting times are rediculous. I just dont know my best options.
Yikes, that sounds terrible.
I don't understand. Attached itself?
I have a Diastasis Recti with mine. Two doc claim so far they wont do surgery on me.

What if the hernia is protruding out
Hey George from the research I’ve done I would say my inguinal hernia is indirect because it does travel into the scrotum
Would your excercises possibly help for an indirect inguinal hernia ?
I first noticed my hernia about 5 years ago
Also I’m a singer it’s what I do full time for a living I bought your comfort truss like a few years ago and I will say I need a new one
I remember I added extra padding inside the pocket of mine when I bought it a few years back
Should I be wearing your belts when it’s an indirect or is there a certain one I should buy
I need to start doing something about this because it’s always a worry in the back of my mind
So I want to start really focusing on trying to correct it possibly without surgery but is this possible so you think with an indirect hernia traveling into the scrotum? And do you have a specific belt for an indirect ?
It’s on my right side
Yes the belts and the exercises work for indirect as well as direct hernias.
What's Your Belt Called ???
The Comfort-Truss
Yeah i took mine out right away because i new it wouldn't be compatible lol
Today I got my hernia belt from the orthopedic store, it is tailor made for me , I was hoping in this belt to help me to relief my pain- but now I am so disappointed, it is so painful😢 I had to remove it after 20 Min :(( terrible
Ugh, that sucks. Take a look at the comfort-truss. It might work for you.
Did you cure without any additional exercise?
Worst thing is to wear the wrong hernia belt
Yep 👍

Your hernia belts are not built well. They have excellent design but they don't last long.
When is the last time you ordered one? We have recently uograded the design to use more robust material and velcro so that they are more durable. Did you use the Minimalist or the HD version?
I bought the HD version. The problem for me was the Velcro, at one point stopped sticking to the material.
The Velcro on both versions of the belt has been completely updated and there are no more issues with it failing prematurely.
No, sorry I didn’t have one of those. I only had an inguinal hernia so that’s all I really focused my attention on.
yea those suck I could tell right away when I first bought one it was bad.
