He does bring up a very good point. Grapefruit? Grape is a fruit. What gives grapefruit the right to steal its name and then add a qualifier, “fruit,” to what? Make it more a fruit than grape? It isn’t even sweet, and you can’t make good wine with it. The audacity.

My daughter would agree 100% ...she got a fruit salad on the plane at age 12. I could hear her shocked ŕesponse to this VILE fruit and her subsequent spitting it out and condemning it to hell for ruining ALL the rest of the fruit!!
