- Up next is a museum, because someone REALLY loves ancient egyptian stuff.
robert becomes essential in this level as many of the enemies here are most easily dealt with by him. he can duck under the shuriken of the first set of ninjas, making him a hard counter to them. and his attacks can disable a majority of the traps.
hachi is mostly good for briefly skipping some of the worst sections the game has to offer, namely the spiked ceiling/pit room with dullahammer heads running through it. above all else, save robert's spears subweapon because what follows is the most horrific boss in the entire game. the titan's sarcophagus. it's annoyingly hard but you can trivialize it with robert...IF you can keep him alive during the fight. robert's full screen range means no matter how many times the thing tries to play keepaway, robert can no-sell it. his dual spears give him an easy means of getting rid of the eagle arrow traps, meaning you'll only ever have to deal with the loop that comes down to hit you. and hachi can invuln or strike that.
above all else, keep robert alive in this dungeon, or you're going to have a terrible time fighting him.
Up next, muted cries, the second most bullshit level in the entire game.
second, i say because the final level is far, far, far worse.
The design of the monsters on this stage are awesome, the Egyptian triceratops looking monster has to be my favorite design by far

this level was a major spike in difficulty, and the boss took me a long time to figure out how to beat. I remember stage 6 of the first game also had a big difficulty spike as well.
This song is pure metal
The more I think about this stage and stage 7, the more I love the idea that these stages are just the Alchemist Guild's headquarters after it's corruption by the castle. It was something that happened in Ritual of the Night, and I'm glad they brought back that idea for Curse of the Moon 2.

Probably my favorite stage, museum stage with huge rooms decorated with ominous looking enemies and set pieces; the boss fight is pretty difficult in hard mode due stuff flying everywhere....until you discover Alfred's fire wheel which basically noped everything...
Alfred's fire wheel has been the strongest ability since CotM 1, and in terms of mana efficiency, I think it's still better than Hachi's invuln in this game
@@BlackAxemTrue, but I still perfer Hachi's invincible to tank through bosses.
You can use Dominique's lightning sub-weapon to make the Sarcophagus boss considerably easier. It gets rid of all the arrow things on both walls in one shot. Just make sure you hit the ceiling and not the boss' head.

I had to beat this level when going for the Solo Zangetsu run on Episode 3 to unlock Solo Mode.
It was torture.
Especially the boss.
Some advice for the boss fight make sure you have Dominique’s Electric Ball spell before going in. It easily eliminates the mooks on the walls that shoot arrows so that there is less stuff going on the screen.
Best theme in the game by far
Easily my favorite track in the game. Intense level too.
Probably my favorite stage of the entire game, and I don't know why but the music just fits the theme of the whole museum. Not my favorite track of the game, but it is second next to The Demon's Crown.
My favorite track was Curse the Moon until this happenend.... So catchy, and strangely just what you expect from a museum theme.

This level is the spiritual successor of the library one in the first game
The boss had so many projectiles coming towards me. I felt like I was playing a Cuphead level.
I played this followed by cuphead and yeah, it's a bit overwhelming. I just used robert to take out the 2 bottom arrow shooters, then the mech guy to destroy the statues as they came up
Man was this boss a bitch on hard mode for the first time...
This boss is extremely difficult, primarily due to all the projectiles flying around. Unlike stage 5, at least it doesn't wear down my stamina so I could beat the boss after a few tries. Phew!
hardest level in the game imo
I'd say this is my 3rd favorite song in the game, favorite being Chains of Fire, then Dragons Silhouette, and Raging Chariot.
4:37 I wish that crumbling blocks will shatter instantly under Hachi`s weight.

Fuck this boss, especially in episode 2. I mean it's cool but the pattern are AWFUL to learn and deal with without being extremely focused during the whole fight.
