You are an extremely talented individual! Stumbled on your work after printing the Dredd gun prob, and found your into one of my other hobbies, lightguns! Excited to see this project kick on!
Ive Been watching your updates over the past year. very exciting time for your guys. Im kinda a DIY techy retro game geek as well so watching something like this grow is very cool! Congratulations!
Thank you, it's been quite the ride. When we started we just wanted to make a 3D lightgun using existing technology and... well... got a bit carried away. Excited to see this finally become a thing, this is by far the most involved project I've ever participated in by a long shot
is there going to be a build guide or video for the Alien Pulse Rifle model, I spent more hours than I even want to think about printing all that with no clue where to find any kind of direction on how to put it together
I always enjoy the amazing amount of passion and pride you have for the project! The guns look amazing, I was also thinking of hydro dipping my gun when printed (because I can't order one, Australia..) :( Best of luck guys! I'll be ordering parts as soon as I can. One Question, will the 3d print files be available for free or will we need to pay? Ps. Am absolutely happy to pay of course, there's been a lot of work going into these.
All models are free. We're still keeping the maker spirit to this and we only want to sell builds. The models are free and we'll show you how to source and build yourself.
I will be looking to go full bore with your products. Will you be putting together zero to hero packs for noobs? Guns, cables, sensors, free or paid games and software packs?
Have you ever tested on a 120-140" projector screen? I imagine with IR it shouldn't matter much, but would need a larger kit than the 100" that you mentioned. About how far away would you need to be? Very excited for these and hope I can get them to work.
I can do whatever wires you want really, just thinking in practical terms for what I offer at scale. I don't have a 120" to test with persay but I could simulate the distance easily enough to see if it works
My only concern with 3D printing is the layer lines. I think they look hideous and make the end product look cheap. How visible are the print lines on your products if they are unpainted?
I'm taking some high def pictures of all Vyper colors unpainted in a few days and I'll post them on the site. The painted ones don't have visible layer lines (on the site now) but unpainted is subjective, best I can do is show you and let you decide.
@@Props3D I can't wait to get some of your light guns. Thank you for everything you and the team has done. I will be getting that printer and any upgrades.
They're in early access right now until the store opens. I want to offer completed Vypers, kits, and DIY at the same time to ensure everyone has options and has a smooth experience.
@@XxBoxerman74xX Almost, sorry, this is a really complex project. I'm building the website, the store, doing the videos, making the models, etc etc, all at the same time so not everything is up to date. I do post daily on Discord if you want more info. I do my best but we bit off a lot here, good thing is it all works great and we're in the last phase.
Are you likely going to do some colour themes that will be friendly for customs in countries that are notoriously bad for stopping anything deemed “looks too real” ie Australia 😂
Just be prepared for all the angry people when you can't meet the demands. You're gonna have to fight off the manbabies with their pitchforks. 😂 Seriously though those guns are gorgeous!
I have sent it to experts for evaluation and that's what I care about, it been a good product. I'm building this slowly and sustainably, I don't need or want hype right now. I don't care about internet points, I don't care about influencers. This has to be solid, buildable, and functional. I post daily on Discord if you want more info. Happy to answer your questions in more detail with a faster turnaround and you'll find a ton of information there.
how long has the bethefirst link been available? i don't remember seeing it a few days ago. how many people have signed up on the list? I'm excited for August, thanks for the update
Clarification, we don't produce all the electronics in house, we SOLDER them in house, it's not like we make our own Raspberry Pi Picos!
Thanks!
I like to get a viper. please let me know when i can order one hopefully before christmas
Omg the way you reload ! Love it ! Really hope i can afford a lightgun when they are for sale
Really liking the improvements on that reload mechanism 6:04. Very nice. Smoother gameplays because of it I believe. Great work Chris. 👍
Gotta start saving for my birthday. Amazing work guys

Can't wait, thinking about milling one as well hahaha. Want that real CLANK 🤣
Well, I have a lot of aluminum/mild steel stock and my CNC is feeling very neglected. Not ruling out a 1 off ;)
@@Props3D Was the first thing I thought when I saw the Vyper HAHA
@@Props3D yes please!
I'm gonna have to get two of these once my arcade setup is finished.

Best of luck with this most noble of projects.

Plug & Go You say?! Where do i sign up?
What 3d printer do you recommend for best possible quality for the light guns?
P1S is the best price/performance and it's what I print on so all guns are formatted to fit

Where can I find the files to print the viper?

I would love to see a kit where you can swap gun cases at ease.
Almost all parts are interchangeable, worked hard on that. There's a bit of modding but it's not hard to move from one gun to another

@@Props3D Oh but not everyone has a 3D printer. 😂 I do though so I'm good. 😁
So the firmware has been done for a while now and your spinning up for sales why don't I see a bunch of TH-camr's reviewing the Blamcon yet?
