when Hao reincarnated the first time, he chose to be reborn as a member of the Patch tribe, during this life of his, he got married and had a wife and child, but he abandoned them when he stole the Spirit of Fire and left the Patch tribe to gather followers, his wife and child were allowed to live and eventually became ancestors of Silva, so in a spiritual sense, Silva and Yoh are kinda related

Furthermore, the family that Hao formed in his first life was in Japan while the Apaches are in America, two extremely remote places and with two different bodies.
Watching this again I realized how sad it is that they actually used an adult voice for Hao in this flashback. However, when Matamune remembers him he has his child voice in adult body.
I was kinda hoping that wouldn't happen. Lilirara didn't deserve that. She was basically leaving in relative peace and would occasionally discourage other shamans from going through with the Shaman Tournament.
But most importantly, she was waifu material.
Hao doesn't care about that.
She was in the way of the feeding of spririt of fire

Asakura Yohken is the one who actually defeated Hao. He also had a God-class spirit on his side. Matamune just have a final blow. Consider that Matamune had strong relationship with Hao (Hao even said that Matamune was he's one and only friend, so he definitely didn't wanted to kill him)
And this hao is weak compared to current hao

@@someguy4405 my theory is that when hao was once patch, its just basically one of his reincarnation, but probably the first form of hao was probably the asakura one where he became the greatest shaman, and where he got his ability to read hearts and got corrupted by it and he started to dream to destroy humanity and only where shamans can live. And when Yoh appeared he started to think that his not alone and does his ability to read hearts was destroyed and then Yoh became the shaman king.
Older shaman kings animation looks better and iconic clean and on point this new one make them looks like a girl

Nope not in any way, the new one looks much better I saw both and my boyfriend was totally an fan of the whole old series, but he saw the new one and the new better ending he said the new one ist the better one.
