Yeah. Hao's really having a heart for someone and it's very adorable amd lovely. She's the only human he grew so attached to after such a long period of time.
I mean....1 he found her in circumstances similar to his during his first life when he was younger. 2 she is a shaman and can see spirits, so she doesn't register as human to him. 3 he basically raised her. Of course he cares about the little one, she is like his daughter/ little sister.
Hao pulling the sun out of nowhere will always be funny to me, but Opacho jumping into that blackhole nearly gave me a heartattack when I first read it and again here.
I think all of that just happened inside the Great Spirit, so is probably not the real sun... BUT I almost cried with that Opacho's scene and everything else just didn't care anymore 🤣
i like the idea of name of this episode and great spirit called "God End". it's symbol for Hao has finally accept himself, having the Supreme Meaning, King of All, after he has become one with Great spirit. God is also called The Absolute, The Supreme. End is also called Purpose, Meaning, Telos. Hao become King is His God End.

Me: "Noooo you're gonna die if you use- oh right, this is not Final Fantasy" I love Hao's moves in this, partially because some of them have the same name of some op Final Fantasy spells (Meteor and Flare) and because the drawings are just gorgeous. Do you remember how we talked about us humans being on another "radio channel" than spirits? Funny how Ochachyio mentioned the exact same thing as being the reason why Hao could not interact with his mother... kinda makes you feel like we are not " just making things up". Even creepier, how Hao's mother mentioned that ALL humans have ALL elements inside them ( apart from the fact that she seems to be the wised in the entire series )

Really liked how they adapted alot of these final episodes, yet... it continues to have that lacking of care for details shown or said in the manga/original source and lacking of good direction u.u I rdid really enjoyed the serie, but cant say it was way dissapointing becausd of those details and panels just skipped or changed drastixally, cut the emotion they had to express....
I also wished they kept the background of how the teams moon, Star, flower, earth, and wind met Hao and why they were willing to stand with him in destroying the human race
I mean I like the idea of an overpowered main villian getting "defeated" By convincing with common Sense that he sees what he does was wrong, decides to stop and getting a Character Development rather than a overpowered Main Villian getting defeated physically by very bad By Plot Armor. He could have mentally destroyed the group by spamming the most broken Things until their spirit breaks, but then opacho jumps in + his crew & his Mother (so the reason why he did all That) at last.
It's a nice way which also was implied to be the outcome in Osorezan. Because Anna and Hao have parallels and well, Yoh did change Anna's heart and stopped her from being a monster, similar thing happened with Hao at thr end. I find it charming, even though it does feel like power of friendship when everyone shows up. The author of the manga expressed wishes to remake the entire manga in order to perfect it, so we may see a even better and clearer version one day.

And yes, it's power of frindship, but Not Against the Villian (and Not through some plot armor power up for the MC), but in the Villians Favor that he changes his mind. Anti-Cliché, and Hao still remains his badass representation, unlike other Villians who got wasted with the cliché Execution of it.
@@richardisidro1172 it's not a reanimation, it's a remake. The old anime didn't follow the manga fully, so it ended differently in the old shaman king. The new one is different for 50% of the time.

If I remember right the 2001 anime ended before the original manga run, which itself didn't end properly (it ended on like a cliffhanger before the final showdown with Hao). Exactly, after expanding all of the hydrogen, helium and coal, i think that's where thr mass won't be enough for the next step in the nuclear fusion and the sun will become a dwarf. But Hao can do it because he's all powerful.
You'll be happy to hear she grew up and became a strong shaman. Horohoro gave her his spirit of water so that she can help the people of Africa where she's been in recent times.

I respectfully have to disagree, it eas iconic, but Hao loosing in that way was not cool. Here the fight is supposed to be grand, but unfortunately they didn't quite capture the scale in the animation departman.

So.... Look, I mean, you can say ehat you like for it being a story. But VS is definitely something else in terms of building the world. We take death for granted in shows and movie, we give it no value, even tjo it's very impactful. So Thorfin doesn't want to take lives away anymore, he's stained himself with blood of innocents everywhere. And his father taught him that "a true warrior doesn't need a sword" because "noone has enemies". People that you dislike or whatever, they're not bad just because you don't like them. Even if they are bad people, to hate them is to intact a bad characteristic within you as well. So you're worse of a person for every bad person you *hate*. And Thorfin isn't fighting anymore, he's struggling, especially in thr latest chapters after they arrived in Vinland, there's a brewing problem and he doesn't know how to solve it. Trying to solve things without violence is way harder, because if you inact violence, you're acting like a kid who doesn't wanna play anymore, and violence only opens the cycle of hatred further... So not doing anything like that is a true warriors path. A warrior who can solve things without killing.

Very disappointed .. Same quality than Dragon ball Super, stupid and the script is terrible. In the old version, stories made sense and relationships were developed, and we got a true final battle.
This should be an epic battle, but ruined by all those clearly-a-woman-but-pretending-to-be-a-man voices. Why didn't they used real man voice instead those lame voice.

I think Hao brought everyone to the great spurit unintentionally. His heart desperately wanted him to give in and so all he did is go with it.

@@NorthernWind_Vlll no I mean there are some cases like someone murdered one of your family members but instead u visit judiciary for case filing but some takes revenge even though it's bad but in the end that choice remain what I liked about thorfinn was his cockiness he was like a lone Wolf who judges on his analysis but suddenly he becomes a normal mc with a kind hearted who is like every other like deku, who are against violence I don't know why it made me feel irritated for a while and suddenly everything his pride went down
