That hook part was something that evaded my understanding for years. If I hadn't already been taught it properly by a professional a few months ago, this video would've been the first time it would've made sense to me despite having heard people talk about it so many times. Makes me appreciate how valuable seeing is over reading/listening with a lot of aspects of bonsai. Thanks for another great video. It was simple enough but I picked up some very important things watching you do the work.
Placing it properly and consistently took me some time too. It really makes a difference for lining up the pads the way we do here. I had hoped that one especially would be handy!
Brilliant video
Many thanks brother
Regards from South Africa
Thank you!
like a fresh new wardrobe!
Great work. I like how when you wire pads they look refined but not too accentuated. 👌🏻
Glad you like them! It's hard to find the right balance, even still! Thank you!
Thanks! Great information!
Thank you ❤️
I detailed wired a huge shimpaku recently. It took about 20 hours. Good job to you.
Detail wire really takes time and patience. Would love to see your tree!
Beautiful tree and work
Thank you very much!
I watched this last night and it was VERY useful! I've seen a lot of work on junipers from many channels but for some reason this demonstration made a lot of it click. I think the amount of rotations you showed helped visualize it in a 3d space. I always struggled to understand how juniper pads are supposed to be formed when it's being shown from just one camera angle.
Also seeing your shirt change colors made me realize how much time must have gone into this!
So glad you have taken away something new from it. I will definitely be doing more like this video. 😊
Oh yes, this detail wiring especially takes quite a while. This was also in late summer where we are still watering 3 times a day and tending to many other tasks, wiring takes less of a priority.
good work
Thank you! Cheers!
yaaay! A new Video
Hope you enjoyed it!
Wow I loved watching that! That tree is incredible and great music selection too. So much thought and patience required to do your work! Thank you!
🥰
Love your channel and content. This transformation was nothing short of spectacular. All along with useful information... I hope you will create much more content in the future.
Much appreciated! Of course I will continue to make as much as I can
Thanks for sharing this! Beautiful work.
Thank you!
Great video and tree. Nice indeed
Thank you as always 😊
banger, mega inspirational, thanks
Glad you enjoyed it! Thank you!
The number of shirt changes tells you something about the level of effort and dedication.
Haha! Yes this was last summer so half the day is watering 😆
Your videos are great but are you going to ever put out another one ?
The current circumstances have made it difficult, however I hope to do some more in the future. Anything you'd be interested in seeing?
What came after the lime sulphur on the black cotton swab?
The cotton swabs are just used to clean an excess off of the edges between the live vein and the dead wood.
