while it for sure is nice that he warclaws get the pet animation, it certainly nerfed the speed at which you can do the heart there. before I'd pick up poop and as I would walk by warclaws I would pet them for more progress, now you can't do that anymore cuz you would stop and get stuck in the petting animation :/
Didn't they also reduce amount of mursaat runestones you get daily? Usually i got around 35 runestones per day per 2 maps but now i got like 22 for same stuff, i feel like they reduced drop chance out of sniff chests without mentioning it.

Whats the point of race and competition when everyone can get gold easily? I know that there are still timings which you can better to get 1st place. But yes, to get AP and the gold before the patch was more satisfying. (salmon race)
