Namaste everyone, many of you have been asking the reason for QR codes for contribution. Please understand that making a film costs money. A lot of money. While it runs into crores, in a low budget film like Hadinelentu, it runs into several tens of lakhs. The ways to recover this money is by theatrical run, satellite and digital rights. Now, theatrical release is an assured loss for such films with low marketing budget and what with today's audience only seeking theatrical experience (nothing wrong in that). Our hopes were pinned on OTTs, but OTTs rejected the film without even watching the film. And for technical reasons, our TH-cam channel is not monetized. So, only with generous contributions can we make up for the investment on the film. But unfortunately, the presence of QR code might seem like a rainfall of contributions. But that's not the case. Only about 1% of the viewers are contributing in kind resulting in a tiny returns so far. So we are looking forward to your involvement only if you feel the movie is worth the ticket price of a movie.
Being a Kannadiga , I was praising Malayalam films because of stories and making. Hats off to the director, actors, story and making of this film. Thanks to director Prithvi for showing Us such a wonderful Kannada film. Now I can proudly say to all my non Kannada friends, colleagues, yes Kannada films do have wonderful stories and directors. The movie effectively portrays women in powerful societal roles, gradually revealing the extent of their influence. Something that we miss in most of our cinema. Loved how it tackles caste and social dynamics head-on, offering a nuanced perspective. The characters are depicted with realistic complexity, avoiding clear-cut distinctions between good and bad. Seriously couldn't believe its our kannada movie. It was so exhilarating to watch. Really sad this movie didn't run in the theater and didn't get deserved recognition.
The film "HADINELENTU" is nothing short of brilliant-truly an absolute stunner. I haven’t seen anything this exceptional in a long time. I'm genuinely happy to have experienced it. While I'm not entirely sure if this is the right place to say it, I feel compelled to share that this film deserves to reach a million viewers. Though it might be a challenge given the current mindset of many, there's no doubt in my mind that this is a masterpiece. The casting is excellent, and the performances were outstanding, particularly those by Deepa (the character), the Principal, Vice Principal, the lady lawyer who supports Deepa, Deepa's mother, her boyfriend-everyone delivered flawlessly. In every aspect, it's a perfect film. My heartfelt kudos to Pruthvi for handling such a mature subject with such finesse. Congratulations to every single person involved in this incredible film. My salute to the producer/s who came forward to support and make such a class-apart cinema👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Thanks for uploading this one. Had been searching this and "Pinki Elli?" for a long time. Very rare to see such good writing. Grippy screenplay, music and amazingly natural performances. Loved the live voice/sound recording (at least for 90% I think) which is again quite rare to see in Indian films. It gives a really immersive experience. We need more such socially relevant movies every year in Kannada. Please upload "Pinki Elli?" as well and if possible in 1080p.

Dear Kannadigas.. You all can have you own opinion on this movie thats absolutely fine.. but what is to be noted is that kannada industry has made a fantastic movie with an exceptional concept.. Do not be critical.. kannadigas should come out of this mindset of and support.. In Bengal, Telugu, Tamil people just flock theatres bcos of just a their own language movie.. thats why those industry has prospered..and all those movies aren't always great but still their love for language make them successful..

Hadinelentu 17/18" is a gripping film that hooks you from the very first scene and keeps you engaged until the end. What makes it especially captivating is its unpredictable nature - right up until the climax, you're unsure how things will unfold. The incident that occurs between the boy and girl in college, along with its consequences, forms the crux of the story and is portrayed in a way that is both compelling and thought-provoking. The film doesn’t shy away from being raw and real, both in terms of its storytelling and its dialogues. This authenticity is one of the film's greatest strengths. Positives: • Storyline • Dialogues • Shot in real locations • BGM • Colour tone • Acting • Editing • direction Room for Improvement: • Cinematography While the film succeeds in keeping you on edge, the open-ended climax may leave some viewers, like myself, wanting more closure. I was expecting a more definitive conclusion, which made the ending slightly disappointing. Performance: Sherlyn Bhosale and Neeraj Mathew stand out as the film’s central pillars, with the narrative revolving heavily around their characters. Both actors deliver grounded and good performances, adding layers to the already intricate storyline. Lakshmi Murthy maam, who plays the role of a lecturer, adds her own nuances to the character, delivering a good performance that feels genuine. Sudha Belawadi maam also shines with a stellar performance, contributing to the film. Bhavani Prakash, Nagendra Sha, Gunjalamma, Ravi Hebbar and Rekha Kudligi including rest of the cast everyone has acted well for the role they were given. Technical team: Prithvi Konanur directed this movie brilliantly. Prithvi Konanur and Anupama Hegde both of them have written the storyline line well and kept it grounded. Cinematography by Arjun Raja was good but could have been better. Shivakumara Swamy has edited this movie perfectly and kept it crisp so the storyline is engaging right from the start to end without and dull scenes. Overall: Hadinelentu 17/18 is a well-crafted film that bravely tackles significant issues and delivers engaging performances. Its rawness, authenticity, and social relevance make it a must-watch, despite its open-ended conclusion. Ratings: 4.5/5 stars ⭐️

Though fictional, It is disheartening to see the girl’s future being wrecked by a reckless act of youthfulness. Though the act was consensual and both the students were equally responsible, it was the girl that suffered the most. All through the incident and its repercussions thereafter, the movie successfully exposes the varied fault lines that exist in our society. The deep rooted caste system, class divide, gender bias which are plaguing our society are reflected in the reactions of the concerned parties....The movie is a sincere attempt which highlights one of the many problems of digital age. Kudos to the director for taking up an unconventional subject and skillfully exploring all its dimensions from different perspectives.

Namaste everyone, many of you have been asking the reason for QR codes for contribution. Please understand that making a film costs money. A lot of money. While it runs into crores, in a low budget film like Hadinelentu, it runs into several tens of lakhs. The ways to recover this money is by theatrical run, satellite and digital rights.
Now, theatrical release is an assured loss for such films with low marketing budget and what with today's audience only seeking theatrical experience (nothing wrong in that). Our hopes were pinned on OTTs, but OTTs rejected the film without even watching the film.
And for technical reasons, our TH-cam channel is not monetized. So, only with generous contributions can we make up for the investment on the film. But unfortunately, the presence of QR code might seem like a rainfall of contributions. But that's not the case. Only about 1% of the viewers are contributing in kind resulting in a tiny returns so far.
So we are looking forward to your involvement only if you feel the movie is worth the ticket price of a movie.

Seriously couldn't believe its our kannada movie. It was so exhilarating to watch. Really sad this movie didn't run in the theater and didn't get deserved recognition.
The film "HADINELENTU" is nothing short of brilliant-truly an absolute stunner. I haven’t seen anything this exceptional in a long time. I'm genuinely happy to have experienced it. While I'm not entirely sure if this is the right place to say it, I feel compelled to share that this film deserves to reach a million viewers. Though it might be a challenge given the current mindset of many, there's no doubt in my mind that this is a masterpiece.
The casting is excellent, and the performances were outstanding, particularly those by Deepa (the character), the Principal, Vice Principal, the lady lawyer who supports Deepa, Deepa's mother, her boyfriend-everyone delivered flawlessly. In every aspect, it's a perfect film. My heartfelt kudos to Pruthvi for handling such a mature subject with such finesse. Congratulations to every single person involved in this incredible film. My salute to the producer/s who came forward to support and make such a class-apart cinema👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Very rare to see such good writing. Grippy screenplay, music and amazingly natural performances. Loved the live voice/sound recording (at least for 90% I think) which is again quite rare to see in Indian films. It gives a really immersive experience. We need more such socially relevant movies every year in Kannada.

ತುಂಬಾ ಅದ್ಭುತವಾದ ಚಿತ್ರ. ಕೋರ್ಟ್ನಲ್ಲಿ ಆ ಯೋಚಿ ಪರವಾದ ಮಾಡುವ ವಕೀಲರು ಇಂಥ ಪ್ರಾಮಾಣಿಕ ವಕೀಲರ ಅಗತ್ಯವಿದೆ ಸಮಾಜಕ್ಕೆ. ತುಂಬಾ ಅದ್ಭುತವಾದ ಚಿತ್ರ ಹೆಣ್ಣು ಮಕ್ಕಳಿರುವ ಪೋಷಕರು ಒಂದಲ್ಲ ಐದಾರು ಬಾರಿ ಚಿತ್ರ ನೋಡುವ ಅವಕಾಶವನ್ನು ಕಳೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಡಿ ಇದು ಸಿನಿಮಾದ ಹಿರೇ ಪರದೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಮೂಡಿ ಬಂದರೆ ಈ ಸಿನಿಮಾ ಸಕ್ಸಸ್ ಫುಲ್ ನತ್ತ ಸಾಗುವದ್ರಲ್ಲಿ ಅನುಮಾನವೇ ಇಲ್ಲ. 100 ಡೇಸ್ ಓಡುವುದರಲ್ಲಿ ಸಂದೇಹವೇ ಇಲ್ಲ. ಹ್ಯಾಟ್ಸಾಪ್ ಈ ಚಿತ್ರಕ್ಕೆ.

A brilliant movie ... fabulous job done. .. although didnot get an expected dramatic ending but u showed the reality of flaws in the system....
Questions that came in mind
1.Who was actually obsessed or provocated to caste , board or principal or vice principle or jesse
2.Who are actually indiciplined....manipulative adults who did not take action or innocent kids who were were not afraid to commit mistake,
3. Whi was at fault ? boy who leaked or girl who made video
4.Who were genuinely fighting and concerned for kids? lawyers who were changing their tones according to the proofs or the teachers

ಇಂದಿನ ಯುವಪೀಳಿಗೆಗೆ ಮೊಬೈಲ್ ಹಾಗು ಸೋಶಿಯಲ್ ಮೀಡಿಯಾಗಳಿಂದ ಆಗುವ ತೊಂದರೆಗಳ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಒಂದು ಪಾಠವಾಗುವಂತಹ ಕತೆ ಇರುವ ಚಿತ್ರ . ಚಿತ್ರಕತೆ, ಹಿತಮಿತವಾದ ಸಂಭಾಷಣೆ, ನಿರ್ದೇಶನ, ಎಲ್ಲ ನಟ ನಟಿಯರ ಸಹಜಾಭಿಮಯ ಮನಸ್ಸಿಗೆ ತುಂಬಾ ಹಿಡಿಸಿತು. ಆಯಾ ಪಾತ್ರಗಳಿಗೆ ಹೊಂದುವಂತೆ ನಟ ನಟಿಯರನ್ನ ಹೆಕ್ಕಿ ಹೆಕ್ಕಿ ಹುಡುಕಿದಂತಿದೆ.
