How is she beating 200m specialists? Amazing! Go Syd go!
Some of them dont want get injured, like gabby she learn alot from the past
@@shinsei7560yeah right😂😂
@@mphulomaako look what happened to jacious sears now she injured
Cause it's Sydney lol
Not too surprising. When she was running the 400 metres last season, she had great first halves. So the speed was there. And she doesn't have to worry about hanging on for the last 200 in the shorter race.
See, this is what is wrong with World Athletics. You've published a 64 seconds video clip of a women's 200 metres race, which is only 22 seconds in duration, and you can't even be bothered to show the whole race. Instead you cut half of the race out. Absolutely pathetic. How you might think that this promotes athletics is beyond me. Seb Coe, you're not doing a good job on this.
Honestly, it's bizarre.
It is pathetic indeed, it shows the level of critical thinking ground to zero by World Athletics...
The World Athletics page is so bad that it wouldn't surprise me if I clicked a video and it was boxing highlights, but only the 1st half of the fight and they don't tell you who was fighting or who won.
They should be embarrassed.
It's pathetic.
She is amazing! Keep up the training Syd. I love watching you run.
this girl can win multiple gold medals for the USA
Yes she can but you know the goal medal 🏅 is already taken 🇯🇲 😉
@@user-is2rp6qn1r400mh 400m 4x400m Gold !! That's multiple
@@user-is2rp6qn1r gold?
Maybe only ONE, 400 hurdles and that is it if F.B. slips.
@@relaxchamp There is no easy 400m medal when she has Paulino and Miller-Uibo to deal with. Sydney couldn't even run in the world's last year because she got injured trying to run the 400m.
Am I looking at this wrong? Did she just beat elite sprinters at their own game? GABBY THOMAS? JENNA PRANDINI? BRITTANI BROWN
ABBY STEINER as well! That race was loaded with burners and she just put them all on the shelf! 🔥🔥🔥🔥
I'm surprised that she was leading off the turn. She's ready to run 49.9 for 400m hurdles
@@boringlifeofateen I wish and pray. I so want her to do this.
@@ajrocks12xshe will in a few years
@@boringlifeofateen
Does 49.9 and 47.9 (400m) in practice...Paris 2024 and LA 2028 will be the Sydney show for sure. She is the GOAT.
I think a lot of yall forget that she is a sprinter, she literally could specialized in the 200,400,400h and medal at some point in all of them. She even jumped 20 feet in LG back in high school. I suppose she’ll try and break her 400h record and be done with the event. After that you’ll probably see her compete more in the 2/4. She has the potential of going low 48 in the 4 and I think her breaking the 200m is a stretch for now, but she’ll consistently medal like Allyson did
She smoked the world-class talent. Well done 🤙🏼
She is world class most 400 runners are good 200 munners she always been a good 200 m meter runner
Peep this. Sydney was also only wearing flats: the New Balance FuelCell Rebel v4. Okay, she threw away a sub-22 by not wearing spikes, but damn, 22.07!!!
@@RN-DNPthose flats are faster than spikes. I wear them daily.
I reckon Adeleke is gonna be a special talent in the near future
Sydney is an incredible athlete she dominated the 400 hurdles, 400m, and now the 200m. She’s absolutely amazing and fun to watch, look forward to seeing her compete in the Olympics this summer.
Not surprising given her exploits accomplished at 17, still a teenager at Union Catholic School Sydney she ran her split 49.85 over 4x400m. At 18, in 2018, she ran 22.39 for 200m and the 400m in 50.07 in the rain. With this time, she would have been 4th at the World Championships in Eugene. This is incredible for such a young girl!
That is IMPRESSIVE
She is special!
That's amazing 🤩 how did she beat this stacked lineup of 200m specialists😮
It's not August and there are college students that can compete here in the month of May and win.
How.was that? She maintained her peak ,her healthy right at the momentum, if she run 400 M H again, her world record will be break again
I couldn't believe that! She's storming the leg
Sydney is built different. She is on a league of her own 🔥🔥💪
She is!
She’s gonna do big things this yr, she’s a beast
We are witnessing the emergence of the new goat in women's track and field
Perfected the hurdles now on to the next! Wow!
Awesomeness 🎉 and against a strong field of 200m runners too!
Seriously, some people still think Femke can beat Sydney in a 400m hurdle race? Come on now.
It's because of indoors and that Sydney didn't run 400m hurdles last year, but obviously Syd is the better sprinter and she's showing it this year just by running 100m hurdles and 200m
Femke Bol's fans are irrationally delusional------in their dreams they see her beating Sydney, but in Paris, Sydney will beat her by at least 70meters and walk away with the gold comfortably--------NB: please, if anyone sees Roy B of South Africa, let me know---this Femke Bol lover claims she will beat Sydney, crazy dude🤣🤣🤣🤣
@@kobbieafriyie2172 Yeah. There are some keep using Femke's indoor 400m WR as argument. There are some using Femke has only hurdled for a few years, and only switched her step pattern last year argument. I mean Sydney doesn't race indoor, and Femke has been running hurdle since late 2018.
@@lamster70 Correct! these delusional Bol fans, have been twisting and turning with nonsensical arguments that because she has broken world records indoors, somehow that will matter in her beating Sydney----crazy folks-------Sydney will beat her badly in Paris----no amount of indoor world records will save "Femke Fall".🤣🤣🤣
If Sydney could bother her ass to line up in the diamond league we would find out - she doesn’t wanna do it tho
I am happy to see Abby making her way back.
Crappy Steiner and her fans are sh1t. Owned by a non 200 m runner lol
By the time she's 30 she will have reset the world record in the 400m hurdles, the 400m flat, the 200 meters and threatening the world record in the women's 100m flat. Just watch n see. She is that rare of a talent, and that mentally strong a woman. Perhaps we've never seen the likes of her.
..and with 30+ she will pulverise the 800 and 1500 records.
@@relaxchamp And win the 4 x 400m by herself and then breaking Mondo's pole vault world record.
On the same day.
Yeah, Sidney isn't resting on her laurels and wishful thinking to anyone who thinks any of her competitors can keep up with her in the 400 hurdles . She looks ready for a low 50 point or possibly dipping into 49 seconds. She getting better. Speed, endurance, the full package. Hopefully she'll run an open 400 soon so she can break the American record. That was extremely impressive considering the women she just took down, Femke would have come in dead last, probably at least a half second behind Sydney.
She will, but only 1 or 2 (could easily drop a 47.9 or 48.3, though). Focus is defending her 400mH crown.
She'll leave Femke well back just like in Tokyo and Eugene.
Gabby!!! No injury please..😢😢 😢 PARIS just around the coner
This girl is a machine..probably the most talented female athlete on the globe..what she just did proves it
No words..phenomenal..... I'm
Why are people so surprised at the results😂? Am I the only one who isn’t surprised
I am not!🤣🤣🤣🤣-----But femke Bol fans will be surprised to see her time in 200m-----these fools claim Bol is faster than Sydney, lol-----Bol will be walking away with her usual silver in Paris in the 400mh
I am not. I was actually hoping for her to run 21.8 or thereabouts.. Given that her PB for 400m is 48.74. She should be able to run 21.8 with some more speed work and in dead wind.
@@ajrocks12x No doubt! She just needs practice---once she gets used to that, her natural excellence will help her improve her time.
@@kobbieafriyie2172 Kersey's candystore opened?
I think the wind was -0.3 with +1 she was gonna go 21.9 and this track was so slow the 100 and 400 times were incredibly slow
This regarding Caitlyn clown comment… They are both great athletes. We don’t need to tear one down to lift another. What Caitlyn is doing for basketball is honorable and she has no control over the media ridiculousness. Bol also seems like a good person and has given track everything she has every time out. And she competes so often that people are building relationships with her and support her with hopes of defeating Syd. As a Jersey guy who watched Sydney run all through high school and beyond, and cheer more than any other athlete, I must respect what Bol if offering the sport. But she still will not beat Sydney in any race from 60 to 800. Sorry Femke but thanks for making it a conversation.
Sydney Mc. Is a special athlete...Another milestone.....cheers...
Sydney McLaughlin is amazing! Could probably win gold medals🏅 from the 100m to 800m against the World 🌎!
An absolute beast.
She don't have any chances to win 100m also 800m... Ehh experts
Sydney is not in any shape to defeat Shericka Jackson the 200m specialist who is potentially in world record shape
@@Dlami89Shericka was injured, we’ll see
@@okay9508 Wait what?? Shericka is injured? She just ran 11.03 with heavy workload the other day.
She become professional in 200m soon !!! 💪💪💪💪💪❤️❤️❤️
wht an athlete - amazing pace
Anyone still comparing Femke Bol to Sydney Maclaughlin-Levrone is just selectively blind to the truth. Sydney is an icon in the making not just a record breaker. Femke might be her closest competitor but she’s still not even close by FAR.
For those who also watch gymnastics, it’s like comparing Simone Biles to Rebecca Andrade. Like Rebecca is impeccable and is also Simone’s closest competition but still she doesn’t compare cause Simone has simply reached GOAT status.
Both Simone and Sydney are in a league of their own. We should all be happy to get to witness it
Not me!🤣🤣---but I have a few delusional folks I have been debating with about this for a year now-----they are Roy B from South Africa, Francesco, not sure where he is from, and Gareth-----these three blind men believe wholeheartedly that Femke Bol will beat Sydney in Paris and is the better 400m/400mh runner because of her indoor records, says so, 🤣
She could have easily gone sub 22 if someone had pushed her..wow!!!
wow.. so technically she could clear the hurdles girls and the sprint girls.. what an athlete!
Wow, she is incredible.
Watch them run at 2x speed 😂
Woooow!😮
Congrats to Sydney on an amazing run.
How is this girl beating 200m specialists? Phenomenal 😍
Simply the Best, . . .)) congratulations Sydney !!!
Those 200m specialists are a joke 😂. Sydney McLaughlin is the GOAT
Your comment is a big joke as you don't realize it's only May and there are college students who could have ran in this race and won. In August 22s 200m won't even get a bronze medal.

She's unique!
Whaaaat! I just realized who else was in the race 🏁 😳 nah she is incredible
Great 200m from Sydney there, she could have easily gone sub22 if the conditions were a bit more favorable.
A lot of the 400m/400mH specialists are getting some sprint/speed training in early this Olympic year, but none as impressive as this (so far) ...
Only a few have come close to such rare air, Shelly Ann Fraser-Pryce, Flo Jo, Elaine Thompson, Femke Bohl, maybe Shericka Jackson, and the great Alison Felix.
The way she’s doing this just for training and hitting 200m specialists PR’s is crazy lol
Shessssssss baccccccccccck❤
Live her..She bad
Congrats, Sydney.
she dusted Abby, Gabby, Jeanne, and Brittany! smh Rare talent
You go Sydney❤❤❤❤❤
Syd can beat you at her events…and also beat you at your events..
Wow
Sydney is amazing. But not comparable with Sherica, shacarri, Elaine, Pemke Bol, Mary Moraa etc
Famke bol? Jaja
Huh???? She’s always beat Femke Bol and she’s not a 200m runner, this is to get her prepared for her events.
Sydney is on her way to becoming the greatest female sprinter we've ever seen.
When will that happen?
In the 400 hurdles, Syd's faster than Femke and Femke's much faster than everyone else
wow, she definitely can run a sub 46 in the 400m
Of course we cannot slight the current 100m World Champion, Ms. Shakari Richardson, but somehow I believe Sydney has more mental fortitude and more humility to outlast Ms Richardson, despite the great talent that Ms Richardson is.
Great performance, Congratulations.
Why aren't you showing the entire race? Absolutely ridiculous. This doesn't help the sport at all; in fact, it hurts it.
Appx speed = mach 5
No way! Is this real? Gabby was in this race? I love Sydney, but how is that possible???
There's clips are disappointing.

Gabby was a no show............. Very disappointed. Amazing talent at 200m for a 400m specialist.
What happened to Gabby? This is extremely uncharacteristic of her. Regardless, that was amazing for Sydney!
Gabby looked tired
....? 🤔
If she hasn't peaked too soon...
I think Syd should go for the 400m flat as it put less stress on the knees
Ironically, the moment she focused on the 400m flat, that’s when she had a knee injury.
@@light3395
It is such a pity. I strongly feel she's the only one that can have a go at that elusive 400m world record. With Bobby Kersee even coming out to say that Sydney's love is 400mh we may never get this chance of history again.
@@jamesagba8604 Luckily for Sydney, she has a few more years to experiment with 200m, 400m, and 400m hurdles. She can go 21.6, 48.2, and 49.9 imo
