If this were made into reality it would look like most of the Star Fox team and other animals would be done with Jim Henson puppets, and the Andross forces would be people in Planet of the Apes makeup effects.
Honestly...that would have been REALLY cool. Jim Henson's puppets from the Dark Crystal are pretty mind-blowing so those in a sci-fi setting would have been great. I think the ape costumes and puppets would have been a really fun combo of practical effects. It would have aged pretty poorly but it would still be fun nevertheless.
Would be cool, especially because Takaya Imamura and Shigeru Miyamoto actually designed the characters intentionally to look like puppets as a nod to "Thunderbirds."
This actually Looks like it could be a high rated, highly praised, dramatic, pg13 anti war movie, with starfox puppets. It Looks stunning and original, I would definitly watch it.
This was truly awesome! It has all the vibes of a Saturday morning show like the ones they used to have, the weird live action sci-fi shows. This should be a thing.
I wish someone has the balls to actually make a cutscene or short looking like this. I really love the lightings and cool background props. I wish more movie had cool background props. Alien rocked because there was so many cool things that make you say "whats that, and how does that work in thier world"
Boy almost every character looks too cute almost. Like those old Jim Henson movies with cute yet creepy characters in them. One of my favorite childhood N64 games of all time. I recognize just about every character, and boss here. I like how many of them look like puppets here, which is actually how Miyamoto and Imamura envisioned the characters as they were inspired by old British puppet action dramas like "Thunderbirds." The simple puppet like mouth movements in SF64 were intentional, not just a technical limitation. I think Bill & Katt look too realistic though.
These videos Reece made just goes to show there is charm in making live action versions of films, if the characters, designs, and settings are done right. But no, Nintendo partners with Universal to continue making animation versions of the properties, instead of a mixture of live action and animated.
@@SuperFlashDriver granted there already is a live action Mario movie, and frankly the Super Mario series, and most Nintendo franchises are better suited for animation. A stop motion StarFox series (probably with a little CGI too) was almost greenlit for Netflix. Given the intentional puppet-like designs of the StarFox cast, that might of actually been clever.
Sadly, StarFox just isn't very popular anymore, and every new game seems to sell less then the previous. Zero/Guard bombing, and getting a mixed reception (due to the controversial controls, and also controversially rebooting the storyline, after "Command" kinda messed it up) kinda killed the franchise sadly. At least we got Wolf back in SSB, and StarFox cameos in that StarLink Ubisoft game. The producer at Platinum Games even voiced interest in redoing Zero, (and improving it) or making a new StarFox on Switch. So there might be hope.
This looks like the promo materials for SNES game and I am all for it. I love how you included just about every character, even the raccoon dude from Training Mode.
I don’t know why but if star fox ever did get a movie I would kinda see it in the same veins as stuff like the dark Crystal or thunderbirds maybe making the characters all puppets made by the Jim Henson company or something
Ohh....I would so wacthed this 80s movie/tv show in another dimension. Lylatwars is one of my most favourite games and favourite characters, Fox Mccloud my Idol. *salute*
It is cool seeing different interpretations of the characters. You don't really see characters get different designs sometimes. It is always the same costumes. I wonder who did the art for this? It is really well made.
Doesn't happen to you guys that these type of images feel kinda familiar, like they belong to a real TV Show or Film, these totally feel like one of those old movies with puppets, dark humor, deaths and homemade special effects
🤨? Sorry, but you're not really making sense, "furry" is a really broad term and there's no one singular style to it. Aside from Command's style, most of SF's styles have been pretty good. If anything I would say that about half of this here, while interesting and certainly not bad, could definitely be described as "weird". If you replace the word "furry" with "Command/Smash/Zero then your comment would make more sense. Personally I'd like to see a style mostly between Adventures and Assault, but also about 25% this "80s practical effects" look. Come to think of it, something close to the original SNES game's advertising puppet art, but also about 40% an "A&A blended" style.
I love how the cast distinctly look like puppets until suddenly Bill and Katt are just a literal dog and cat lol
They must have good agents to get casted.
Why does Fox and his team look so adorable?
Because heroes have to be marketable for kids.
@@TheErnieforss That oddly makes a lot of sense.
As someone who grew up with an N64 and especially Starfox 64 a movie like that would be a dream come true.
I don't know if it would be struck down, but if it played their voice lines when each character came up I would love this even more
My thoughts exactly! 👍
HANDS OFF MY PREY
I would absolutely hate it. Glad he didn’t
@@leeroyjenks that's a Smash Brothers quote actually.
Their quotes but in that 80s retro sound

@@beauwalker9820 They actually hoped Gerry Anderson would come over and create a show for them.
I love that it made every other character a foam rubber puppet but Bill is just a real dog that someone put a helmet on
This actually Looks like it could be a high rated, highly praised, dramatic, pg13 anti war movie, with starfox puppets. It Looks stunning and original, I would definitly watch it.
Star wolf looks dope, no wonder Andross had him on the team
This was truly awesome! It has all the vibes of a Saturday morning show like the ones they used to have, the weird live action sci-fi shows. This should be a thing.
You should do Star Fox Adventures as an 80s dark fantasy movie. I gotta imagine that would get a wide variety of great results.
Agreed
Finally! Falco looks like Falco
I wish someone has the balls to actually make a cutscene or short looking like this. I really love the lightings and cool background props. I wish more movie had cool background props.
Alien rocked because there was so many cool things that make you say "whats that, and how does that work in thier world"
check out A Fox in Space. It's not 3D or anything but it's a cool starfox fan animation with an 80's aesthetic. Episode 2 should be out soon
Isn't balls, is money. 😉
This is so cool there's almost enough here to actually make a film
Fantastic Mr. Star Fox.
These are, the best images, of this ilk, so far.
Excellent.
Do A Barrel Roll!!!
Wolf is the pure definition of drip.

I love that Bill would have been just the directors dog an not a puppet like everyone else
They're so cuddly I can't XD
All the amazing things you can do with Starfox and Nintendo is doing none of them.

@@beauwalker9820 Yes that is true but, I kind of see live action as more of a fun experiment if I'd say so myself. That's just me.
Unfortunately, we can not no longer hear Rick May's new voice for Peppy Hare.
"Gone, but not forgotten."
i love how the pictures are accurate to the game and could work as actual movie
they all look so cute that I don't believe they pilot those superior weaponry machines
This is by far one of the less weird and more visually consistent ai images I've seen yet!
This looks like the promo materials for SNES game and I am all for it.

I grinned so hard some tears came out of my eyes, this is so cool.
The ape and lizard villains in particular look fantastic
OH MAH LURD! Peppy is adorable!

This is the best thing I’ve seen in my life, i love it so much. Thank you for this.
finally someone did it! i kept requesting starfox and no one did it. thanks
If there was a movie that lookied like this it would've kicked ass
Conquers Bad Fur Day as 80s
Really good! I can so see this as a 80's movie, I love StarFox series!
awesomeness.
so needed this back in the day.
What they look like in dark fantasy film
Honestly I won’t lie but if this was a film I would definitely watch it
It’s shocking how much they look like actual puppets. 😮
Show de bola ficou perfeito very nice.
This awesome this would make a cool starfox 64 sci fi movie

These look great. Some of them look perfect even
My god this is fucking perfect. Like I don’t even like starfox but respect
It is cool seeing different interpretations of the characters. You don't really see characters get different designs sometimes. It is always the same costumes. I wonder who did the art for this? It is really well made.
Its an AI art, probably Midjourney.
Peppy looks adorable lol
I need to know what Crystal would look like
*I would pay good money to see this movie...*
Looks great
Why this looks like something that i see in my dreams?
This is epic..would make for an awesome film!
The Last Starfighter with space animals.
this shit just hit different.
Love this work, I have added it to a AI art playlist on my channel, I hope you make some more!
looks good
This is cool and cute!
Daaaaaamn 😎
😂 I love to see someone make a live action movie of Star Fox 🦊
Jim Henson You are missed more than most people know.
Reminds me of The Pinchcliffe Grand Prix.
Could you do Dinosaur Planet (leaked n64 Dec. 2000 Build) as a 80s dark fantasy
I like it. Cheers!
3:03 is perfectly Andross.
This looks like it was something legit! If it was a series or movie, which one?
Can I ask what prompts you used to generate the images. Struggling to get mine to have the same realistic look as this.
If Star Fox had been made by Gerry Anderson.
I need to see an earthbound /mother version of this
2:31 Now there's something I'd hate to ever tangle with, a chimpanzee gremlin.😨
Looks like The Jim Henson Company production.
Synphwave Sun ending
Start 🦊
Bill Grey and Katt Monroe look realistic tho
All fantastic but Wolf is outrageously badass
Peppy kinda looks like Bean the Muppet.
the bois
Jim Henson Star Fox!
Has Science gone far enough?
If that movie was made by Miramax Films and 20th Century Fox...
Also seeing those andross we gotta get a planet of the apes something bro
I believe Columbia Pictures would have the right to distribute that film if it happened.
Andross looks creepy
DO SUPER MARIO BROTHERS NEXT
Do star fox assault next that would be cool
Doesn't happen to you guys that these type of images feel kinda familiar, like they belong to a real TV Show or Film, these totally feel like one of those old movies with puppets, dark humor, deaths and homemade special effects
Please do Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart as an 80's Sci Fi film.
How about Star Fox 64 as a Gerry Anderson show (if there's an AI for that or it can be made)
...I might have a challenge for someone.
So, just the original starfox for the SNES then?
You should 80s style harry potter
ROM the space knight
As
Rob64
It's pronounced an AR'-wing? Cool
I called it an Air Wing
I know This is AI but that leaves me questioning WHERE IS BARCUS. AI DUNGEON SPAT OUT BARCUS AFTER BEING FED STARFOX
is realll//////??????
Is this all AI generated?
Ngl I think I'd prefer if the series took this look instead of the weird ass furry look.
