These dudes needa go to the G League out of high school if they get offered. Doesn’t even have to be just Ignite. I’ve seen a lot of young players who seemed to be limited in college go off this season.
The G-League has a real, legit problem with the lack of Defense - in regards to individual intensity, defensive awareness/IQ, and just the overall emphasis from coaches to actually implement strategic rotations and pulling guys who aren't getting it done on that end of the floor. Let's be real. 99% of the players in the G-League aren't going to be asked to carry much of a scoring burden at the next level without some key injuries to star players. The AAU style product the league is putting out there isn't beneficial to the player development nor their ability to contribute on the main roster. I love TTW, but the 1 thing the Rockets don't need right now is another player who commands a high usage rate.
