My 4 yr old grandson is fascinated by your films and will ask to watch one. It lessenschis fright to see the lightening without the thunder. Thank you for sharing your extraordinary work.
I can not relate how this film makes me feel. Ive watched it so many times and yet it never gets old or lessens the impact for me. Its like proof of being in the presence of something greater than yourself, something you have yet to understand, something spiritual. It makes me feel a connection to this earth that i never knew i had such is the power of these images combined with this music. Thank you so much for the amount of work you have undertaken to bring this to life.
Mike. I am absolutely speechless. This has no precedence in the history of filming earth (except your previous films maybe). Thank you so much for giving us all the opportunity to see that. 😍
Thank you so kindly for justifying me buying a $2500 oled tv. Your works are visual feasts. Once i calm down at night with no lights on... I dont need anything but this.
I watch your films at .5 speed in order to see more details and STILL, I must watch each multiple times as I cannot get enough of the magic! I am overwhelmed by how many reactions and emotions well up in the course of viewing them... THANK YOU (and those who support you) for the incredible dedication in bringing such amazing scenery to us! This artwork is nearly as timeless as the weather itself-
Mike Obinski your work is far beyond photography, it is pure art, and by sharing its beauty, makes at the world a lot better. Thanks a lot. Many greetings from Spain brother
How can this channel have only 28K subscribers? This video is gorgeous, and the efforts put in it are insane. You deserve a much bigger crowd than this and have people recognize your amazing work
@@mhkuntug Yes, The Sovereign Designer of Nature is exceedingly grander than His handiwork. :) Creation points to His unfathomable wisdom! Who is like Him? No man and no angel, no number of them can compare to Him!
No matter the last 4 monsoon videos, you still manage to absolutely blow my expectations out of the water, you fuel my fire, and are the reason I’m actually starting to take my photography to the next level, i will always look forward to any film by you, that originality is definition of amazing. Keep on inspiring, love from Vegas
Absolutely stunning photography and film editing thanks for sharing. I'm an HVAC Service Technician and worked in Arizona from 2015-2019, and remember storms like these very well. I was usually getting off of a rooftop when these storms would roll in lol. Anyway, I had to move back to San Diego to be closer to family, but absolutely love Arizona and will return when the time is right. Whenever I get homesick for AZ, I watch these videos. Thanks again.
Two years ago I fell in love timelapsing storms... not only is you video absolutely stunning but also another inspriration to continue chasing and filming nature's beauty - Thank you!
Wow! Im left mesmerised and my heart's racing! The choice of music is perfect! The timing of the music was so perfectly in sync with each scene! Love the job done with that! Absolutely incredible work Mike! You've outdone yourself! Its a great reminder for me as to why you're my favourite stormchaser! Loved your work and I appreciate all the hard work put in it! I just wish this video hadnt ended!
Mike, not SOLELY speaking about your work here BUT, THIS (and others chasers' work too) is why I love to see when mother nature gives us inclement weather. It's mindblowingly gorgeous. If this could be shown on a million Voyager 2 'Golden Record' spacecrafts (on a permanently playing video screen, somehow) heading out into the furthest reaches of the universe in different directions so other species can see it when the human race is LONG gone, then I'd say we left one thing behind that best showed what Earth's amazing (inclement) weather was like.
And there it is! Once again you have captured mother nature's violent fury so beautifully one could forget how destructive and deadly they can be. The instinct is to run but if storms looked like they do through your lens I'd be unable to run. I'd be overwhelmed by its beauty and gladly let it get me.. Chills and tears once again Mike.. Bravo man
I'm 47 and feel the same. His videography is amazing! The editing of the music, video, angles, everything works so well together that I find myself awaiting the next video with slobbering jowls.
I have been following you for the last couple of years and your work is just absolutely incredible. I aspire to be half as good as you. The light provided in this series was miraculous.
When Mike Olbinski posts a new video I don't drop everything to watch it. I make plans to drop everything then I watch it . . . . . . . . over and over. That takes planning 🙂 Superb as always Mike
First off I want to thank God for the breath taking beauty he gives us to enjoy. Next I want to thank the Mrs.'s for letting you go,out and capture the collage of outstanding videos you put together. Last but not least I, along with others I'm sure, are so very thankful for the amount of time and patience you give for us to be amazed by. It's always a treat and a blessing to view you work, thank you .
Liked before I watched it and I wish I could like it again. Absolutely incredible footage!! The way you blend the weather with the music is perfect. Thanks for putting in all the hard work so we can see these amazing images.
Another outstanding video Mike! 👍 👍 There are so many things I love about this one. The lightning captures are wicked cool and the dust storms are unbelievable. The music and the music editing like your video are worthy of all of the possible awards for video excellence that are out there. Thank you so very much for sharing this summer's adventure with us. Now, go home and spend some time with your "Weather Widow". 😉
And I really enjoyed the "Live" session the other day also. I was really glad that I got the notice early on so that I could participate. You answered a lot of my questions. Much appreciated.
Your dedication is truly inspiring and it shows in all your work. Congrats for yet another breath taking & mesmerizing timelapse 🙌🏻 And what a joyful ride it must have been to bring your kids along. Thank you so much for sharing your work and the story behind it 😊
Another masterpiece of videography, editing, and musical score. I was amazed that you were able to use cuts only until the ending transition. There was what I would call a luminance blinker between night and day shot that was well crafted and was carried by the score. Normally repetitive shots such as the dust storm become mundane, however your shot selection kept me wanting more information. It all ended to quickly, another mark of a segment well done. Bravo sir!
Absolutely LOVE this, Michael. It truly brought goose bumps and tears from taking in the sheer, raw beauty of nature. My goodness what a magnificent film, immensely well done, and music a perfect choice.
Wow, I just got back from Iceland so Im a little late to this, but this is amazing! Cant even imagine the detail, the planning, and the hard work to make all this happen, but thank you so very much for posting this. Nature is truly incredible.
