    I read a book that had the characters eating these. It was described in so much detail that I got a craving even though I've never had them before. They were better than I imagined, thanks for the closure! 😁

    Well my dear I must say you have made these more than once. Im amazed at how absolutely pefect and circular the Chinese beef patties are. Im going to try my luck at these they look irresistible, Thank you

    Just keep the heat low, so the center of the meat and sides of the dough gets cooked.

    I am surprised the meat cooked inside. I wonder if it can just be fried lightly each side then finished in the oven. Then I can use less oil. Will try this veganized with mushrooms.

    But i think it wiuld be better if the meat is half fried before filling it then filled and the pie is fried as you did
    Because the meat seems here half done

    Just a simple question. After many years of asian style cooking, i have come to the following conclusion: Are sesame oil, Soy sauce, Oyster sauce, Shaoxing Wine the "must have" ingredients?

    Can’t imagine cooking Chinese food on an electric or induction stove. Sad that California is banning gas. I hope the techniques and food don’t change too much.

      I heard that has gas stoves are better for cooking in that one has more precise control over temperature.
