What makes a useless machine useless is the simplicity. Not even a little hand poking out, just a stick. Crappy wooden box. No decoration. No sound. Truly useless.
I agree with you. A machine that is truly useless is one that doesn't have any redeeming qualities (doesn't even provide entertainment).

I am. I am NOT saying that I don't like Rita. I have to admit the look of that robot, with it's thick hair and eye lashes, reminds me of the Furby (the original 1998 model & 2005 model) and the Fuzz Luvz which I am pretty afraid of.

In mere 4 minutes... This little Robot has now Pierced my Heart with live. It's got a sense of humor. It's insanely smart for being just a robotic arm. Weird Style. And that part where she Just latched onto your finger. That was adorable and Funny. And that ending to! Who else saw that coming; using the screw driver at the end? I sure didn't

absolutely darling...aside from the skill it took to engineer and build, which is impressive already, you also managed to give her so much personality and humanity that she almost seems cognizant! so cute :)
What we have here surprisingly is the most justified usage of "most" i know of.

If you think about this title, you realize that the most complex useless machine is actually the human being.
You give him birth, he wil grouw up, chose a carreer, watch TH-cam videos about useless machines, eventually love somebody or something, create unhealthy habits and then die.
It's always a surprise when and how he dies, but it all comes down to the same principle: there is a shut down knob and someday in a humans life it will be activated. And his whole life was nothing but uselessness.

Thank you for your comment. I am now working on a few videos with this robot. But I'm working on a design for a better version. When I build this I make a movie of it. But that will be later this year.
