What happens when a small private insurance refuses to pay big hospitalization bill ( pre existing condition they clam ) ?? Specially if the patient is student over30
Hi @zazo6620. There is always a risk of advanced payments when it comes to private insurance coverage. Unfortunately, we're not insurance experts. You might want to get help from a more qualified source. Thank you!
I want to study in Germany, but I am afraid that I won’t get medical help there or it’s going to be expensive, where I can read and learn more about this topic? I would like to secure myself
Hi @hollaOlga Everyone needs to get health insurance while studying or working in Germany. There is a monthly payment for it. In case you need to go to a doctor, it will be covered by your health insurance.
What happens if you lose your job? Can you still go to the doctor and continue or initiate new treatments, or are you insured only when working or receiving unemployment benefits?
@@FAJIGBerlin hi Jörg, thank you very much for such great videos and information you provide. Could you please help with the following question, I have started working in Germany in December, and am on probation period. Have been sick for 7 days and have provided sick leave from the doctor asap to my manager. Will this impact my passing the probation period ? Can I be dismissed for being sick during the probation period ?
great work Jorg, keep it up.
Thanks @syedshahwaizbukhari4720

You are always insured, even without a job, as long as you register as unemployed. In that case the government pays your contributions.
