So the SAR 109T upper receiver accepts standard milspec free float handguards? I have one and was looking at putting the Midwest Industries Combat Rail on mine but someone said SAR had a proprietary handguard system.
Do you guys even have gun rights in turkey? I saw something where these Turks had to come to USA to fire their first guns at an American shooting range
@@Mithradates_of_Los_Angeles It is only possible to get pistols shotguns and bolt action hunting rifles with different type of licences which are all hard to get and expensive too. You have to renew your gun license every 5 year and the cost of the gun license is about 250 USD (it is not a carry license, in order to use your pistol without a carry license you have to apply to a police station everytime when you want to bring it with you to any range. It is also way more expensive than States to buy any kind of pistol, even Caniks.) But there is no license required to shoot guns at range in Turkey. I usually go to my local gun range rather than buying my own pistol and license. To try out pistols such as Caniks, Sigs, Glocks and different type of Berettas. It is also limited to buy only 1000 rounds per year It used to be 250 but Ministry of Internal Affairs has changed the regulations just few years ago. So going to a range rather then buying a new pistol for myself is way more efficient and cheap I think, at least for me.
The thread patterns are “milspec”. So any regular accessories outside of an ambi mag release will work. The lower and upper are shorter- I cover it in another video- that being said, barrel nut, flash hider(1/2x28) and receiver extension and grip nut are all basic ar15 thread pitches.
@@non_tactical_talor8353 great thanks for the help. I’ll check out your other videos about it. I took a coworker shooting this morning and he really likes my cmmg banshee in 9mm but doesn’t want to spent that coin on his first 9mm ar. I’ve had one of these on my radar for about 3 weeks and never seen one at a range or on a shelf at store.
Damn dude, I wish I could own that SMG, and I live in Turkey ! You guys have great gun rights.

Does the sar accept any AR after market rails?
Yes.

cool dude great shots
Thank you!!
What kind of brace do have and did you have to change the buffer tube???
It’s a sub tactical
Pdw- so it came with a standard length buffer tube specific to the brace. Any milspec buffer tube will
Work.
Does it use milspec uppers and lower receivers they look a little to short to be milspec.

You cannot have this weapon in Turkey, the law does not allow it. It's pure comedy.
You can own that. It is semi-automatic civilian version. If it is full auto it is impossible
