Awesome! GREAT JOB!!! Hope you are recovering from your jet lag. That Kamakaze was pretty wild to see! What an adventure! Your content allows each of the viewers to feel like they had a chance to join you and Apple on your travels! Thanks for having us all along. 🙂🐍🙂
Dan, you and Apple are living my dream! Awesome video as always. Reptiles, history, and education all in one video. What else can a person ask for? Keep up the great work! Thank you for the ride!!!
That is basically all we are doing is living our dream as well and we happen to share it for those that want to know where their animals come from....I did and now I know.
Thank you for the great information and also for the great experience God continue to bless you and your family and your business thank you for sharing the experience and the information
This is fantastic guys! and great fieldinformation! I a, s[reading the link where I can for all other herpers to enjoy. Thank you so much for all your work and passion!!
That is a really interesting video. Not only seeing the Green Tree Pythons in the wild but also the museum. Very interesting artifacts and information. I really enjoyed the other similar video from some time ago that I believe is also on the the channel DM Explore. Very interesting.
That was a good video with the snakes and then artifacts. It was very nice and enjoyable little educational and I agree with you. The teeth are a little crazy. Tell Apple I said hi.
Nice wild finds! Thank you for sharing the WWII information as well. Like that plaque stated, learn from history and do not repeat it. War is not a glorious thing. Safe travels.
Being there and walking through all that debris, weapons and remnants of destruction and then reading a plaque like that was pretty impactful. Makes you realize that what you see in the movies really happened and was undoubtedly far worse than even Hollywood makes it look.
I am so gratified to see the jungle slowly oxidizing and absorbing those horrific weapons of war. Even artifacts of our worst acts as a species will one day just be a source of iron in the soil for growing things.
I saw the folks on green room pythons handling several Amazon tree boas in the wild and they were all super chill. It's wild how tree pythons and boas become so defensive in captivity. Maybe they're that uncomfortable with the way some people keep them.
Tours were an idea before but we changed our minds. We did a collab a few years ago that cost me some friendships because he acted stupid and offended people. Now I’m overly cautious about bringing people into my world with people I consider family. In addition to that, we end up just paying out of pocket for our trip and spend time looking after other people…it makes more sense to pay for our trip, have a good time, and not worry about a group. There are many people overcharging guests so they can make money but it’s mostly MX, Costa Rica and S America where it’s cheap. Papua is an expensive place to travel to and if we wanted to comp ourselves, I think travelers would tap out.
@DMExotics would love to see some palm cockatoos in a video , you put out some great content . Enjoy seeing something other that vids of people tempting a visit to the er.
We didn't see one Japanese person our entire time in Indonesia. It was managed by locals and they were hanging around us because not many foreigners visit. Not sure what you are hearing but some of the mom's were yelling things at their kids....I think a dog was running around too.
@@DMExotics at 26:25 when you are leaving the building and walking past the local kids there is a voice that says “Arigatou gozaimashita”. But it must be a recording.
@@mobilitybaka I hear the speaking but there is more video I edited out from just before and after that time mark and I believe it is one of the 2-3 mothers outside yelling at their kids. I cannot make out what the voice says. When I am outside that person is still talking.
Hoya blooms!!! Love 'em. I'm a plant person, as well, so thanks for featuring soil and rocks along w/animals.

The only reason I got ahead on editing this video is due to jet lag....edited at 2am lol
Really awesome video, Dan and Apple! Entertaining and informative from start to finish.

Loved the video… as much as I loved the first part, I WW2 part was fascinating. Love history

Nice! Of all the Green Tree Python localities--Biak's are the coolest...IMHO.
Papua herping content from DM Exotics! Sweet
Nice wild finds!

Bringing the 🔥 yet again . the tree moment 😂
Wonderful video. Thank you!
WOW just WOW everytime 😮😮❤
Edit: that last part brought me in tears..
Going there and seeing all that is a stark reminder that war really happened....it is not just in the movies. It is easy to forget that.

An amazing video...thank you!!!!
This was outstanding thank you 💚💚💚
Captivating vid - thank you for your dedicated efforts!
Great video
Love this video!!
Great video. I always have curious about GTP s wild habitat
We have other videos showing GTP's and habitat, this just happens to be in a new location.
@@DMExotics yes. I saw all of them.thx
Mantap saya juga dari indonesia, salam kenal
Awesome vid, Happy days from this Aussie in China!
99% of people on their death bed~ “I wish I had traveled more”
Dan and Apple on their death beds~ “I wish I traveled less. Much less”
😂

I’ve seen hundreds of people get locked into a cell and turn bad. I often wonder if it’s the same thing.
LMAO at the GTP neonate tree! Ya can't make that stuff up!
Just a an observation I made and figured it was worth showing. Might be something to it, maybe not.
Dan , have you ever thought about putting together a trip that a small group of subscribers could join you on ?

@@DMExotics totally understand 👍
While your over there have you seen any palm cockatoos ?
Yes, plenty...along with eclectus other cockatoos, kookaburra, frogmouth, lory, parrots, hornbills, etc

Was that a Japanese staff member saying thankyou as you left? Or was it a recording or something?

I just got a Biak Boy Green Tree Python and got bit lol few times is there some tricks to handling them .
They aren’t really a snake for handling
A good study would be 2 see if those plants are in the area Red Baby GTP appear and not in yellow only locations
Maybe a channel with industry sponsors could do that…this channel does not make these expensive trips possible.
@@DMExotics yeah it’s just a idea. This is the first time Iv even seen video from Biak so this amazing ! Stay safe out there
